About: I know how to handle more energetic or anxious animals and can read animals behaviors very well. I have worked at multiple veterinary clinics through internships as a vet assistant. I now work at an animal shelter as a part of the medical team + animal care team. Due to this I am able to administer any medication or care to your pet. I work 5 days a week but only for around 6 hours per shift so the rest of the day I can spend with your animal and caring for them :) I have a very large yard, not fenced but I will walk your animal around it and spend time with them outside (leashed) so they get lots of wxercise and enrichment. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My dogs have been and always will be members of the family. We currently do not have a dog as our 14 year old lab passed away from a stroke last year. We do allow dogs on furniture and we do take excursions to the park in good weather. This can be your dogs home away from home. I am retired and am home unless I am traveling. We have a fenced in property with woods and a creek that your dog can enjoy on walks unless you prefer they just stay in the main yard. About: I’ve had animals my entire life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed. I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play. I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want. Our big lab, George does have some scary looking anxiety upon meeting (barking and growling). If you are boarding/daycare/meet and greet with us, George will be in a pen on leash, harness, and muzzle to start (either inside or outside weather dependent-prefer outside). As your dog explores, I will work with George to adapt to the new situation and eventually greet your dog appropriately. Once that happens, he’s good with appropriate play, boundary setting, etc…. It’s just the initial greeting that needs a little more management.

I’ve absolutely adored my students and clients and would like to shower my love on your pet-angel(s) as well! I have recently retired from my careers as a high school teacher and from social work. What this means is that I now have ample time to spend with your pet(s) each weekday and weeknight as well as on the weekends! create my own schedule on an as-needed basis for you…plus I usually have weekends free for ample time with your pet. I love to walk, play and give lots of love and attention so those will be incorporated frequently! I will treat your pet(s) and home with the utmost respect as I do my own. I will stay in frequent contact with you and will take pictures throughout the visit and send updates each night so you can be assured of my service and your pet’s well-being.

I work part-time as a party princess, primarily on select weekends, and gigs are infrequent and scheduled ahead of time. Because of this, I’m able to commit fully to feeding schedules, walks, check-ins, and quality time, ensuring pets receive dependable and focused care. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. About: I’ve taken care of nine animals in one house before. I’ve taken care of senior dogs and young puppies. I also have taken care of Snakes, Sugar gliders, Chinchillas and more. About: I know how to handle more energetic or anxious animals and can read animals behaviors very well. I have worked at multiple veterinary clinics through internships as a vet assistant. I now work at an animal shelter as a part of the medical team + animal care team. Due to this I am able to administer any medication or care to your pet. I work 5 days a week but only for around 6 hours per shift so the rest of the day I can spend with your animal and caring for them :) I have a very large yard, not fenced but I will walk your animal around it and spend time with them outside (leashed) so they get lots of wxercise and enrichment. I have multiple rooms in which your animal can roam so they don’t feel trapped + toys. Your pet will get lots of play time, cuddles, and attention based on their needs!

“We needed someone to watch our dog while we were on vacation and since our dog does not do well around other animals, boarding him at a traditional kennel was not a good option. I found Karen on Rover and she was a perfect match! We were able to board our dog at her home, where there are no other animals, and he was able to receive 1:1 attention while we were away.
