About: I have always had a cat as a pet, luckily I always seem to end up with affectionate, lovable ones. We rescued our most recent fur baby last year who had lost his eyes to infection. He was born on the city streets and they were unable to save them. So I have experience with medical needs to that degree. He joined Lola who loves to sit and watch her birds in the window or snooze by the fireplace.

About: Ever since I was little we always had some sort of pet in our household whether it be turtles or a huge Great Dane lol. Anyway that love for animals grew and eventually my mom would let me take full care of our pets and for almost 10 years I have been doing so :). If I could figure out how to bill insurance for snuggle time, baths, long walks, and naps I would have the perfect life. I’m not afraid of the elements and will get out and walk in the snow, rain or whatever else Michigan’s can throw our way. I’ve sat for some pretty temperamental large dogs. Patience is a virtue. I’m skilled with special-needs dogs. I’ve had a couple who have been injection dependent, oral medication dependent, and require topical oil‘s. I can come in before or after work plus full availability on the weekends to come care for your pets. I will always respect the animal’s space and make them feel as comfortable as possible. I would wait for them to warm up to me rather than forcing them into an uncomfortable situation.

About: Hello! I am a second year veterinary student at the University of Illinois. I am home in MI with my parents for the summer, so I’d love to care for your pet(s) while you’re away. I have experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and energy levels. I am also Fear Free certified, so I pride myself on providing comfortable visits. I will be in the Battle Creek area from June through August. Come August, I will be in the Champaign, IL area. My daily/weekly schedule is fairly open as I do not have a current job. My pets are allowed on furniture. However, I will respect whatever rules you have in place with your pet. I tend to do an outside break every 2-4 hours depending on weather, but in the summer most days are spent outside. I feed my dog on a 2 meal schedule, but can accommodate the pet(s) normal meal routines.
