We have a 4 year old German shepherd who is somewhat protective of my wife and I as well as our home; we also have a 1 year old Golden Retriever who is exceptionally shy. During the meet and greet it took all of 2 minutes for our shepherd to walk around the house licking Nina’s hand, Nina is a natural with dogs. It took a little longer for our shy little golden girl to warm up to her but it came through time and positive attention. About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends.
