About: HELLO! Dog walking has been a long-time hobby of mine since growing up with a hyper Husky/German Shepherd mix. Right after grad school, we adopted (another) Husky mix who was our companion for 10+ years. Now having our hands full with two cats, we have not adopted another dog, which has me itching to walk other folks’ dog! :) WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: I am First Aid & CPR trained I am familiar with Basic Obedience and Good Canine Citizenship training I have cared for a variety of dogs; from big to small, puppy to Senior LETS KEEP IN TOUCH: Do reach out to me if you have any questions. If you’re ready to book, go ahead, and don't forget the discount if your are a first time client. My schedule is generally 10am-4pm; but can be flexible if needed/as available. Will walk in any weather as long as it is safe to do so. Every measure will be taken to ensure the safety of your pet, including making sure they are safe on the leash while walking, while leaving and entering the home (no door dashing :]), as well as any other measures you may request to ensure safety.

About: I have extensive experience with all types of pets including birds, lizards and insects neonatal and elderly. Any new clients will include a meet and greet before we start our relationship. This allows the people a chance to meet and discuss expectations. Its a chance for your pet and I to get to know each in a less stressful environment. I like to meet at my house. That way it's familiar to your pet on drop off day. I can take more than one pet per household but do not take pets from more than one family at a time. I love animals but travel too much to have my own. I was fostering regularly but, I was getting attached, especially to the ones here long term. When I am in New York, I volunteer for the local humane society. When in Texas I'm a stay at home grandma who misses having furry friends. I care for pets in my home as if they are my own while following owner or foster coordinator direction. In the owners home, I obviously offer lots of love, any med and cleaning requirements. I enjoy long walks and enjoy having a dog with me if they enjoy them too.

About: I've had pets my entire life! I've taken care of my own pets - dogs, cats, snakes, gerbils, and rats - who have had a variety of needs including meds, fluids and inhalers, and friends', family, and neighbors' pets! I have always been a huge animal lover and having just moved back to Rochester with my partner as he starts his residency, I have a lot of free time! I would love to help with your animals! I have two cat and dog friendly cats who have a good routine and are always looking for new friends to play with! My apartment is secure and I dote on my kitties!

I try not to leave our dog ever, as she is 14 years old and I would like to spend as many moments as possible with her, but I wanted to spend a day with my husband visiting museums in a new city. So I decided to ask Susan to care for our dog. I wept when we drove away from Susan and my dog, but within a short time I received a text with a beautiful photo Susan took of our dog, seated happily on a large comfy bed with a peaceful, relaxed look on her face. I appreciated that text from Susan so much! As a result, I immediately relaxed and my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful day. Susan gave our dog loving care. She was prompt at drop-off and pick-up.
