About: From a young age my grandma volunteered me to help look after our neighbors pets. But it never felt like a chore. I mean, is there any better job? I'd start with one house, & word of mouth had me sitting for a handful of neighbors! Overnight as well. Sitting was always for dogs, & I'm already a long time cat owner, so I'm the best of both worlds! I work part time as my main job, so I can pop in or stay overnight to look after your pets no problem! I'm best available Thursdays & Fridays, but can sit any night. I'm very respectful of my clients homes. I'll always leave it how it was found. Your pet will get all the care they desire, & the care you demand.

“Katie - you are the best! You have a special way with Chispa and she has really taken to you. It is a great comfort to know she is in such good hands when I can't be there. Thank you!!!”

About: Hello! My name is Marlene R. and I have spent the past few years dedicating my life to animal rescue and fostering dogs and puppies. I am now home full time and am looking to spend my extra free time with animals. I will treat your fur baby as if he or she is my own. I love going for walks/runs and having a furry companion only makes it better! I have a fully fenced in yard at my home that your dog is able to enjoy any time of the day, as I have a doggy door that allows them to go in and out at their leisure. They will always be supervised when they are in my home and outside. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pupper!

“Meg walked my dog for multiple days over the last month and has been great! I appreciate that she takes the responsibility seriously and is truly professional. I love how thorough she is with report cards. My poor dog was sick a couple days and had diarrhea in the house and she was kind enough to clean it up for me before I got home! I will definitely continue to use her in the future.”

About: Hi there! I’ve had dogs in my life for over 20 years and started pet sitting professionally about a year ago. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats. I’m reliable, easy to reach, and happy to keep you updated with photos and check-ins. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! Pet care fits easily into my day, I work part time, just three days a week, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets. I’m used to planning around feedings, walks, and check-ins. I’ll always make sure your pet feels loved, cared for, and well looked after! Whether I’m caring for pets at my place or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I do my best to follow their usual routines and make sure they feel secure and well cared for. I’m always mindful of special instructions, and I ensure that meals, walks, playtime, and any other needs are handled just the way they’re used to. If they’re staying with me, they’ll enjoy plenty of love, attention, and a cozy space to relax in.

About: Boarding: Dogs must be crate trained and vaccinations up to date. Must be kid friendly and do well with large dogs. I have a large, shaded back yard where we can play with toys or fetch. Walk around the quiet neighborhood or take a nap and cuddle. I have an active golden doodle who can’t wait to have a play buddy. I will happily take your dog on walks, play their favorite game and keep a structured routine if needed. Administer topical, injection or oral meds. Meet and greets preferred prior to care. I am currently working from home and have a large shaded yard. Which means potty breaks and outside play and relax time are always available. I will make sure your pets schedule is followed so you can be sure your pet will have fun and be cared for while you are away. My home is doggie safe. Minimalistic feel with little to no clutter. Space for your dog to stretch out and relax. Separate room with crate for sleep and/or alone time if needed. If I leave the house crate trained dogs can safely stay in crate with water and food. Feedings can be done separate if needed. Please bring leash, water and food bowl, and favorite treats. Do not bring toys because they will be enjoyed and destroyed by my dog.

About: Currently, I have two energetic Australian Shepherds. My experience with them and other animals has given me strong understanding of needs and behaviors, especially when it comes to managing high-energy breeds. I am very comfortable and confident in providing attentive care. I’m available for boarding on the weekends, and before 8:30 am after 5 pm on the weekdays. I am flexible on my availability on Thursday-Fridays since I WFH these days. I have a fenced backyard and 2 friendly Australian Shepherds ready to make new friends! Our home is spacious and we can separate dogs, if needed to provide a calm environment

“Marsha was great! She walked and loved on Winston while we were gone. We also received a package while we were out and brought in for us without being asked. Marsha is very caring and courteous, we'll definitely be using her again.”

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra love and attention. I’m especially skilled at establishing routines, managing medications, and understanding different pet temperaments. I always approach every pet with patience and care. What sets me apart is my attentiveness and reliability. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping their well-being and happiness as my top priority. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and notes, so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Rosie. She and I are best buddies. From the moment I brought her home, she has been my unofficial child. I completely understand how hard it is to trust someone else with your best friend so anything I can do to make you feel comfortable, I would. I feel at ease with cats as well! I wake up and immediately let my dog Rosie out of her kennel to do her morning zoomies and good mornings throughout the house. While she’s checking for intruders (and crumbs), I give my cat Lolli some pets. Following this, I check my chameleon Wilbur’s enclosure to make sure his temperature and humidity levels are just right. Rosie and I go outside for our morning walk around the neighborhood, where she says hello to every object in our vicinity. I feed all of my pets and make sure they have plenty of water. I take Rosie to potty every hour or so, ensure lolli’s litter is clean, and check Wilber throughout the day. Rosie and I finish up the day with an evening walk before bedtime. I have a friendly doggy to keep your baby company. Rosie and I go outside numerous times a day and I’ll take yours out as often as needed.

About: Pets have been family to me. Choosing me to care for your pet would be an honor and like having family there. I have had pets since I was a kid and have dealt with dogs large and small. I'm currently working part time with flexible scheduling. I can be available any day of the week and would like to increase my own exercising with dog walking. A win-win for me to work with pets and help me too. I have two large senior dogs that stay indoors. I have a fenced back yard. My pets are family and are spoiled rotten by my family. I prefer to do drop in visits, dog walk, and house sit.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter of 18 plus years, coming from a family run pet sitting business of 20 plus years, who has relocated to the Jacksonville area in 2015. I am a mom looking for extra income for my little family. Growing up in this loving industry, I am passionate about caring for domestic animals of all sizes! I also offer play groups on weekends for a play group rate, contact me for details! I have been trained in the administration of medications such as insulin and subcutaneous fluids as well. I treat your babies as if they were mine and strive to give them the same love and care you would! I look forward to meeting you and caring for your fur-baby! I have a full-time job, therefore during the week days I am limited to drop-in visits and scheduled walks. I am open to over nights in Friday’s, Saturday’s and the occasional Sunday. I have a fully fenced 1/2 acre backyard and three fur babies of our own to keep your baby company. Daisy (6yo Shepherd spayed Female), Ruckus (12yo neutered Male Dachshund) and Ruby (8wk chihuahua/jack russell female) are very sweet and easy going.

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals my entire life, with over 25 years of experience caring for them. I truly believe animals are incredible, intelligent beings who bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives. I’m currently a proud pet parent to a beautiful Husky named Marley and three amazing cats—Sunny, Neepers, and Chopper. To me, every animal is special and deserves to be treated with compassion, patience, and respect. When pets are away from their families, it can be a stressful time for them, so I make it a priority to provide extra love, attention, and comfort to help them feel safe and at ease. I understand their unique personalities and needs, and I do my best to make sure they feel happy, secure, and cared for—just like they would at home. Animals truly brighten my days. Their little quirks, playful spirits, and loving hearts never fail to make me smile, and it would be my honor to care for yours like one of my own. I’m fortunate to have a flexible career that allows me to design my own schedule. This gives me the freedom to make time for the things I truly enjoy—especially spending time with animals. When I know someone needs a helping hand and I’m available, I’m more than happy to step in and offer pet care services. It’s a rewarding way to combine my love for animals with the flexibility of my work life. I have a deep love for animals—my “fur babies” always receive plenty of love, affection, and attentive care. I prioritize cleanliness and health, ensuring that food and water bowls are regularly scrubbed and always filled with fresh food and clean water. When it comes to dogs, I make leash safety a top priority unless they are in a secure, private yard where they can roam freely. I currently live in a cozy three -bedroom, two-bath home with a large backyard so my animals love that. Whether I'm caring for my own pets or someone else's, I’m committed to following each pet's routine and preferences closely. I’m happy to accommodate pets in their own home and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for—just like I do with my own.

About: I’ve been a huge dog lover my whole life. I dog sit for fun because I truly enjoy it! I share a home with my sweet golden doodle, Ellie who gets along with all dogs and humans. I got her when she was 12 weeks old so I have experience with puppies and training. She is a big dog so I do well with both little and bigger breeds. She has taught me a lot of patience and how to properly care for a pet. I truly believe our pets should be treated like our children. I am responsible, attentive, intuitive, and only want to keep your pets safe and happy. My goal is to take care of your fur babies without you having a worry in the world!

About: *I took some time off during the beginning of March 2020 as families were staying home. Now that people are starting to travel, I am back at it! Yay! I have had experience in caring for animals for a long time. My grandmother had a medium sized dog, who both lived with us, when I was growing up. My brothers all have dogs and we get to see them and play with them regularly. They have 2 labs and 1 bulldog. I take all animals, crate trained or not! We currently have 2 dogs of our own, and they love making new friends! We are fun loving and are excited to meet you and your dog for a meet and greet! Meet and greet's are mandatory for me. This is the only way that I will know for sure that your furry friend will be comfortable with us while you are gone on vacation! I am a stay at home mom. I have lots of time to take care of your pups! My children are homeschooled so they can play with them as well! I have a fenced in yard. There is a lot of room for the dogs to run in the back. If you require a crate, I have room for that as well!

Elaine R.

“Elaine would be a responsible pet caregiver, because she loves animals. Her previous pets were long-term (having passed away from old-age related causes), and lovingly cared for. While there are currently no pets in her household, I believe that having animals, even temporarily, in the house, would benefit her children in forming positive pet relationships. In a loving household such as theirs, I believe pet sitting would be mutually beneficial for all involved. Elaine would be able to deal with clients professionally because of her experience in a related field.”
