About: I grew up around animals, from birds and hermit crabs to cats and dogs, my household has always been filled with pets. I have also fostered medically fragile dogs and volunteered at the Westchester Humane Society. I am passionate about ensuring all animals receive the best possible care and I will give your pet the same love I give my own. I currently work part time and I’m a full time grad student, but I have my own transportation so my schedule is open and flexible. I will schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet to learn all about their unique quirks, likes, dislikes, and routines prior to beginning services with them. I ensure a safe environment by using non-retractable leashes on walks and will send you updates while I am with your pet. Your pet's safety is my top priority.

“I recommend Katelynn for any services that she provides. She did drop in visits for my Yorkshire Terrier while I was away on vacation. I was uncertain about his care while I was away. Then I came across the Rover app which was right on time. When I reviewed Katelynn profile, I was impressed. We did a meet a greet & I immediately asked if she would be willing to watch my dog. Katelynn was a JOY!! She adjusted her schedule per request. She even offered to water any plants or do any house chores. She even took my trash out for collection due to I was unavailable. I appreciate the photos & the updates on each visit. I wanted my pet to stay in his home so he would be comfortable. Normally I don’t write reviews but this young lady did an awesome JOB!! About: I grew up with dogs and other small pets (cats, rabbits, chickens, mice, parakeets, fish, and more). That being said I am comfortable and prepared to take care of much more than dogs and cats. I’ve been responsible to provide food, water, and enrichment to my own pets as well at those of friends and family. I am a full time college student even over the summer but besides that I have a lot of free time. During those times i’d love to spend time caring for your pet or pets! I believe I can adapt well and pick up on the cues of a pet to keep them happy and healthy while according to the owners requests on care.

About: I was a dog walker in NYC for 5 years prior to moving to the Hudson valley. I enjoy spending quality time with the animals and giving them a fun day! I work fully remote at a not for profit and I make my own schedule. The flexibility is amazing, the pay, less so. I supplement my income by hanging out with animals! In my home I meet pets where I find them. If they prefer snuggles I will happily oblige, if they prefer their crate that is fine by me as well. I take a similar approach at their homes. My goal is to make a hard situation easier for them as best I can by keeping routine.
