About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I was raised around them from the time I was 5 years old and started learning how to care for the animals around me. I have a Husky of my own that is my bestest friend and a big baby that is super spoiled. I would love to make your pet feel just as loved with me as they are with you! I work from home so I would be able to provide optimal care for your fur baby. I also have completed vet assistant school and have worked as a volunteer at the humane society multiple times throughout my life. I am currently working remotely so I am able to take care of your pets really whenever. I am pretty open to any schedule that you may have!! I can easily crate your dog if needed, I also have a 4 month old husky puppy to keep them company that is extremely friendly and loves to play.
About: I’ve always loved animals. Dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, horses, everything! Whenever a family or friend needs someone to care for their pets I love to. Gives me the chance to have more time with animals. 🥰 I’m a work from home mom so my schedule is pretty much fully available! I’m super flexible and can take last minute pets if needed. 😊 Our home has a fenced in backyard and 4 sweet fur babies to keep yours company. (2 dogs and 2 cats) We have crates and enough space in the house and backyard to keep all of the animals separated if need be though.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience caring for all kinds of animals — from goats and pigs to dogs and cats! I’ve been around animals since I was a kid, so I understand their different personalities and needs. I’m patient, gentle, and always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and pets that need a little extra attention or care. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, giving medication, or helping with basic training, I make sure your pet gets the same love and consistency they’re used to at home. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 4 year old so I am available at any time of the day and any day or the week! When caring for pets, my main focus is making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable — whether they’re in my home or yours. I always take time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so I can keep things as familiar as possible. In your home, I respect your space and follow your instructions carefully — from feeding schedules to walks and playtime. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, along with updates and photos to keep you at ease. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with lots of love, snuggles, and supervision. I treat every animal like part of the family and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for at all times.
About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, so I understand their unique personalities, needs, and behaviors. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’ll care for your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I am a full time college student however many of my classes are in the mornings and I have practice in late evenings. So I am available throughout the day to drop in and take care of your pet. Weekends I usually have nothing going on and can spend the whole day watching your pet. I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In your home, I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules. I’ll keep your home clean, secure, and respect your space while providing your pet with plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust and communication are, so I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos while you’re away.

“Kristie is amazing! She has a wonderful attitude and is very professional. I KNOW my dog is in good hands when he’s with her. Not to mention, my dog is in love with her! She’s a joy to have!”
About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for animals, beginning with early exposure to veterinary clinics where I spent time shadowing and learning animal handling and care from a young age. This foundation grew into professional veterinary technician experience, where I worked with dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs, including senior pets, puppies, and animals requiring daily medications or specialized care. In addition to my veterinary background, I volunteered with a service dog organization where I raised and trained future guide dogs. This experience strengthened my skills in leash training, socialization, crate training, and positive reinforcement methods while working with high-expectation working dogs in real-world environments. I also actively continue dog training as a personal passion and have earned three AKC Trick Dog titles with my own dog. Because of this, I’m very comfortable working with energetic dogs, reinforcing basic obedience, and providing structured enrichment during walks and visits. I currently share my home with two dogs and a cat, so I understand day-to-day pet care, multi-pet dynamics, and the importance of consistency and routine. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is always to provide safe, reliable, and attentive care whether that means a structured walk, a drop-in visit, medication administration, or simply making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I structure my day around consistency and flexibility. I am able to accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon visits, as well as regular walking schedules and drop-in care throughout the week. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can prioritize pet care visits and ensure pets receive attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship on time. I’m used to building my day around routines, whether that’s scheduled walks, feeding times, or medication needs. I value clear communication and reliability, and I make it a priority to be punctual and consistent with every visit so pets feel comfortable and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and secure while their owners are away. I follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific care needs. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets receive attention, fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and any required medication. I also take time to provide companionship and help pets feel calm and comfortable before leaving. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match the dog’s energy level and needs. I pay close attention to leash manners, surroundings, and each dog’s comfort level to ensure a positive experience. I always treat each home with respect, keep things clean and organized, and provide updates so owners feel informed and confident while they are away.
About: In this house, pets are treated like family members. They get all the love, attention, and snuggles (of course) that they deserve. Experience includes puppy and senior care. Over the summer months, I’m not working allowing for open flexibility to tend to pet needs. During school months, I work from home with ample breaks and opportunities for frequent walks and attention. Dogs are always walked on leashes. There are plenty of grassy areas within my complex for walking with a dog park included. I provide particular and full attention to the pets needs and meet the desires established by the owner. I go over and beyond in showering love/attention and ensuring safety.

About: **Please ask about discount for first time pet sits** I’ve had years of experience pet and house sitting. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and have cared for a variety of them, including dogs, cats, chickens, tiny humans and the occasional goldfish. The pied piper of dog/cat sitting. I'm in-tune with your furry baby’s needs, responsible and detail-oriented, also warm and fun. Empathetic and accommodating for any requirements your pet might have--from administering medication to following special diets, to ensuring they get quality time with their favorite toys. While with me your pet can enjoy the great outdoors—I love taking walks and hiking to local parks—great excuse to get my own steps in. Your pet will have fun and feel at ease in my care. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I currently have a very flexible work schedule (working remotely), so I can easily accommodate a pet owners schedule and requests. Happy to discuss in more detail. I typically discuss the individual needs and likes of the pet with the owner and use those as guidelines for how I care for their pets.
About: I have been taking care of animals as long as I can remember!! Starting out as a teenager pet sitting for animals in the family, and I have always been the go to for anyone who knows me to care for their animals while they are away or too busy to do so. I have always had rescue animals myself and am the person to save a animal anywhere I see one !! Dogs are amazing and loving animals and they deserve to be treated as such with love, care, patience, and kindness. You will never worry for a minute if and when your animal is in my care I am attentive and playful and animals are always drawn to me when they meet me.
About: I’ve always had dogs and cats... My #1 goal is living in the country and having lots! I currently live in fountain inn & have one dog, so we’re getting there 😉😊 We go on lots of walks as my street is a one way in/one way out. I do not live on a busy road, and the houses are spaced out a bit in my neighborhood compared to newer construction. My land is used for lots of ball chasing & zoomies. I’m a RN of 20+ years, mother to 3, and a floral preservation artist. I recently resigned from my RN role, and stepped away from the medical field following my mother’s passing, I’ve been working on an Etsy shop, and spending the summer with my boys. Pet sitting fits into my routine as a stay at home mom/artist. Any potential RN roles in the future would be remote. My house is located on a golf course and includes one acre of land. A portion of that land is fenced directly behind my home and another portion is wide open space. We have an older dog named Esme. She is a female and spayed/microchipped. She’s a mix that came from the Humane Society in Greenville and truly the best dog I’ve ever had. She is indoor/outdoor and does not require a lead. Any guest would be able to follow her same schedule, which is to go in and out Very regularly whether on a lead or in the back fenced yard. I have plenty of space in my home if your dog is crated at night, and I also allow Esme (& yours if approved) to be on the couches in the living room. I keep them covered with regularly laundered throws Washed twice weekly and as needed.
About: I am a certified Vet tech with 10plus years of experience handling all types of dogs, I am currently working full time but have flexible availability. I am 31 years old with 2 cats at home in the Kirkwood area. A few of my special skills include but are not limited to : lots of petting/kisses, CPR certified, great handling skills and really good at sneaking treats. I am open to house sitting and this is what I actually prefer so your pet is in a more comfortable and in a familiar setting. I have lots of experience with oral medications and giving injections as well (I do this at my full time job on a daily basis), also very comfortable with any “special” needs your pet might need (senior, disabilities, etc.). I have a very close relationship with the Veterinarian I work with and if anything comes up he would just be a call away. I am available every day of the week unless noted otherwise, I am currently working part time so I have more free time when it comes to jobs on Rover I do not usually do any in care house sitting but I can easily follow instructions for your home and getting access to your pet in a safe manner!
“Jaidyn was absolutely wonderful! She was so sweet and loving with our fur babies and even walked them extra time! We have a little escape artist on our hands, so extra restraints are required on one of their houses and she accommodated the extra request with ease and precision. She even sent lots of pictures so we could see that they were very happy! We will definitely be calling Jaidyn again in the future! Thank you so much for loving them in our absence ❤️”

About: I am great with all pets and have experience with all sizes and temperaments. I personally have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I am great with bathing and walking dogs as well as feeding. I am currently a college student and only have 2 classes left to graduate so I have a lot of free time. I am available most days of the week. I do not offer to care for your pet at my home. I currently live with my parents and do not have my own place to comfortably care for client’s pets.
About: I'm Shelby, I 'm 25, and animals are my passion... especially dogs. I've worked at Petco, PetSmart, Upstate Dog Training, and most recently Astro Kennels as a dog trainer. While I loved training... I decided to take a break to be home more with my own, to work on myself, and eventually go back to school. I want to be a therapist but until then I want to continue to have my passion sprinkled into my life. For now I am doing Instacart and pet care. I offer baths, check my cover photo out! All baths come with ear cleaning, anal gland expression, a spritz of breath spray, and a spritz of cologne! If you would like to add training to your drop in or walk, you can add that for $35 through CashApp, Zelle, or leaving cash when I drop in. Pick three skills for your dog to work on and they will recieve an extra hour with me to work on those skills. A few examples, and not limited to are: Loose leash walking (walking on a leash without pulling), sit, down (lay down), place (going to a specific spot and staying there until called), stay, recall (coming back when called), tricks (roll over, shake, play dead or bang, etc), load up (getting into a car), socialization (usually required to go to pet friendly stores or parks), etc... usually whatever your issues are, I can work with. After training, I will send either a video or multiple videos to show progress as well as how to practice what they learned at home so you get the same results. Please be aware that in order for your dog to get the most out of training and for you to get the results you want, you must practice with your dog as well and use consistency. That is the reason I will provide the videos and I also will leave a detailed report to explain the training as well so you have all you need to continue practicing at home. I worked as an obedience trainer at all of the businesses stated above which included working with pet parents and their pups to reach their training goals one on one, teaching group classes, and day training with just me and the dogs. I also did private assessments with dogs and their owners to help with specific behavioral issues and to come up with training plans for dogs that just needed basic training to dogs with reactivity issues. I have very open availability and experience with tons of breeds, from Chiweenies, to Pits, to Shepherds, Great Danes, and Irish Wolfhounds. You name the breed, chances are I've worked with them. However, I have a specific breed I adore... Shepherds. At home I have a 3 year old male German Shepherd. His ears never stood up, so they are floppy and adorable but don't let that fool you, he is not people friendly. He does well with submissive dogs and females. Just no unaltered males 🤣 So I take the proper precautions while walking and caring for him. I continue to work through his issues and I love him to death. He is my baby. He has come so far since I got him at five months. He's my first dog, not a family dog... but all mine. I also own a Heinz 57... I'm not sure of her age. She was found abandoned. At this moment, I assume 10 months to a year old. After doing the Embark DNA test with my German Shepherd, I decided to find out her breed as well. The results were SuperMutt ( in this category it detected the possibility of Dutch Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Beagle, and Boxer) and the rest of the test said she was German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, American Bulldog, Irish Wolfhound, Great Dane, and Mastiff. However, she's a medium sized dog with a skinny stature and long legs. The reason my male Shepherd gets along with her is because she's a calm and submissive female (he's a dominant male) so they work together perfectly and I'm so glad I could find him the perfect buddy. That being said... I'd love to watch your pups (and yes cats too, as I've watched them in the past as well as cared for them since we boarded cats at one of the facilities I've worked at) and care for them as if they are my own. What can I say, dogs and Star Wars are my life :) I have open availability. As of right now, I Instacart in my free time and care for my own dogs at home through walks, car rides, and trips to the park or dog friendly stores to keep up with exercise and training! I have experience with feeding, watering, administering medications, and training dogs. As well as cleaning up the messes they make appropriately. My specialty is love though. I'm a big petter and snuggler... unless of course your dog isn't the type. I know my boundaries :D

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
