“Veronica was a wonderful host for our golden retriever. She gave updates through the time she was with them. Took great care of her. Already booked another stay. Thanks!”

“Our dog had an amazing stay with Jared! We had tons of great pictures and updates sent to us throughout the stay and we can tell that our dog had a great time and was well loved while she was there. We will be happy to have Jared keep Honey in the future!!!”

“They do a great job sending updates and pictures everyday. They’ve introduced my Cane Corso to so many different dogs and cats. It is a pleasure working with them!”
“So kind and patient—I’d never left my dog with a sitter before and was very nervous, but I could tell right away that Peep was in good hands with Laura. She and her family were the right fit for Peep—I could tell that he was sad to leave them when I picked him up. ;)”

“You're always nervous leaving your little buddy with someone they don't know, especially an older dog when they have not really had that experience before. Madison and Brianna did a great job. Since Brianna is studying to be a vet tech, I felt confident and comfortable leaving my little dog with them.”

“Kelly is fantastic! Our dog Elle gets nervous around new people but warmed up to Kelly almost immediately. While we were away, she sent us pictures and detailed updates which were very appreciated!”

“Madi and her family were so welcoming and loving to my girls. They provided peace of mind and were accommodating to our extra needs due to being stuck out of town longer than anticipated. She sent multiple daily updates with photos showing me they were in the best of care. My girls experienced so many cuddles, walks, and a lot of playtime…they may have even been reluctant to leave Madi’s home! The communication was beyond excellent and I for sure trust her with my dogs again! 🐾🩷💕”

“Nikki and her husband took great care of Archie. This was our first time leaving him, and she was super responsive and sent pictures and updates that made us feel at ease. We would definitely recommend and will rebook with her again in the future!”

“Manuela has definitely been one of the best sitters I’ve hired so far through Rover. She’s communicative, caring, and extremely attentive when it came to my two dogs. I am extremely fortunate to have found her last minute as another Rover sitter cancelled shortly before I needed to leave on a trip. Manuela has also been very flexible with our schedule and has only been accommodating when it came to pickup and drop off times. I highly recommend going with her for your pet care needs. You can tell she loves caring for other animals and is well experienced!”

“My pup had a great time at Dorothy’s! She’s awesome and was very accommodating which I greatly appreciate! I’d definitely book with her again and would recommend her to others. Thanks Dorothy!”

“Rusty was incredible. I was amazed at the questions he asked when we had our ‘meet and greet’ before we dropped off our pups. He treated our elder dog with the respect she deserved and our younger standard poodle loved him. They both had smiles on their faces every time he sent pictures and had a blast. I would definitely recommend Rusty!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Chelsea and Fernando! They were incredibly caring, reliable, and conscientious about keeping our dog on her normal routine. They paid close attention to her feeding schedule, walks, and daily habits, helping her feel comfortable and at home while we were away. Communication was also excellent. We received regular updates and photos, and they were always quick to respond to any questions or messages. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our dog and wanted to make sure she was happy and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely use them again!”

“Omg I can t say enough about this young lady. She was amazing with my cats. She sent me pictures of them even though it was only one night. And I call her all the time and she was not annoyed with my phone calls. I will definitely use her again in the future and only her.Thank You Stephanie for caring so much about our animals.”

“Not only was Mason awesome with Max he was a lifesaver! He was very flexible with our last minute request and made us and Max feel very much at ease. I am so glad we met Mason and will definitely like to use Him in the future. Max was very comfortable with him, therefore made our trip that much better.”

About: I love to work with dogs, train dogs, exercise with dogs and just plain love on them! Spending time with animals is so important. I live one mile from a dog park and take my own dog there regularly. She loves going for rides. Bailey is my 5 year old beagle. She will be 6 years old September 27. Bailey loves having friends over to our home. She is very playful with dogs of all sizes. We have plenty of treats and toys available and we love to cuddle! I'm a teacher but I am home a good bit. Spring break and summer break would be an excellent time for me to watch your pet! However during the school year I am still available to help you! Early morning before 7am, late afternoons and evenings can be given for any help needed with feeding or letting out. Weekends are even better and more visits would be available. Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Clinton home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Clinton.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
