About: I am 30 years old and have always grown up with pets in the home. This includes cats, dogs, reptiles, rabbits, and ducks. Since getting older I have gotten my own (a cat, not a duck) and have gained even more experience and knowledge of the importance of proper animal care. I enjoy spending time with them and learning their personalities and mannerisms and mentally stimulating them as well. I am great with directions and have a keen attention to detail that will allow me to care for your baby with the same love and respect as you would if you were home. That same love and respect goes for your house as well, I know trusting someone with this job is daunting and I want to make your time away from your pet and home as stress free as possible and you know everything is in good hands. I just quit my corporate 9-5 job to travel so I am available anywhere, anytime. I can stay overnight in home, or do daily check ins, walks etc. When house sitting, you can expect respect, communication, and the upmost concern for the safety of your pet and your home. I will spend 24/7 with your animal and make sure all needs are met and they know they are loved and not alone. I will send picture updates as well as multiple text updates throughout the day and make sure you have all of the information of what’s going on at home while you’re away.

About: I have a love for animals and have lived with 16 of my own on a large property. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and other various livestock and would enjoy caring for others. I have a fairly flexible schedule as I work part time however it is always susceptible to change. I’m willing to make accommodations for anyone and strive to keep my schedule open. I’m willing to work out a plan if contacted. I currently have an inclosed dog run for my three dogs and cat to enjoy nature safely. I follow pet care instructions from each owner to a t to make sure your pet is given the best care. I enjoy playing with active dogs or lounging with calmer ones. I take dietary restrictions or medication very seriously and prefer to be given a schedule for each animal. I adore written instructions to ensure I provide your pet(s) with the best care possible and cover all the bases. There is no such thing as too much detail for me! I’m here to make your pets feel as comfortable as possible.

“There is no doubt that our dog, Dan, would rather stay with John than with us. John is a lot more fun than us, especially from the perspective of a dog. John is truly a dog lover. His family has owned multiple dogs since he was a toddler. And he is truly a cat lover as well. He owned a cat, who adopted him, for many years. John is truly an animal lover in general. He has funny voices and nicknames for every animal he knows. In the summers, John works at a fly shop, and he gives every dog in the store--whether just passing through or hanging out there all day--a huge amount of attention, and interacts with them more than most others would. He truly loves dogs and cats and it is in his nature to give them the attention they need. This is why it was natural to think of John when we started traveling more often. And it wasn't long before it became clear to us that Dan relished his time with John. He would get so excited when we started getting his overnight things together, and as we made the drive to John's house. And, while Dan was certainly happy to see us when we came to pick him up, his first night at home was always spent looking very pouty and bored. It's obvious that John is Dan's favorite person (perhaps other than his parents, perhaps not--we're not sure). I think that says more than anything could about how well John cared for our dog.”
