I’m usually home for large stretches of the morning and early afternoon, and I keep my schedule intentionally open so I can prioritize walks, playtime, and companionship. About: As a former veterinary receptionist, I have extensive knowledge of animal health care and am prepared to administer medication and treat minor wounds. I have also worked as a professional dog hiker. In this role I walked up to 8 dogs of various sizes in the mountains near Victoria, BC, Canada. Through this role, I gained extensive experience as an obedience trainer. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes, as well as cats, birds and reptiles. I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I was the owner of an adorable labradoodle named Max, who passed away in 2020. Since then, I have been a reliable dog and cat sitter for many friends, family and neighbors. I am currently a graduate student in the Environmental Philosophy program at the University of Montana. I only have 13 hours of class a week, which gives me plenty of free time to stay at home with your animals and go on many walks. I do not have class Friday-Sunday and am available for full-time care on these days as well as all evenings. I am also able to leave campus in between classes for walks. As I am not permitted to have animals at my current home, I am extremely eager to house-sit or drop in to your home to care for your pets. As a former veterinary receptionist, I can ensure a safe environment for you pets and am prepared to care for them in the case of a medical emergency. As a former professional dog walker, I am also eager to drive to your home to pick up your dog for a big mountain hike or a simple walk around the neighborhood.

About: I grew up in a family who loved all animals. I knew from a young age I wanted to work with animals. My resume includes work at animal shelters, wildlife rehabs, horse training facilities, doggy day care and veterinary clinics. I am well versed in administering medication and care for special needs animals. I have one dog, four cats, and one horse. Currently I am a stay at home mom to a 18 month old. Being a stay at home mom, I am very flexible. I am available Mondays through Saturday 9-12 and 3:30-7pm. I am not available on holidays. I own a two story, three bedroom house with large fenced in yard. My animals have everything they need including toys, cat trees, and lots of love. I take my dog on a walk everyday.

About: I've always had pets. Been very good at taking good care of them. My last two were elderly. I've housesat for multiple friends. Im very active with animals if they want to be active or calm and cuddly when they don't. I genuinely just love all animals and seem to bond with most. Just hope I get the opportunity to bond with your animal, cause they're my favorite. I work full time from 8 to 4:30 at the university. I have weekends off. I do have a few hours of a class on Saturdays. I have a small apartment and two roommates, one of which, doesn't want animals around. But im willing to house sit. And I'm a cordial house guest. I do my own dishes, buy my own groceries, and maintain the environment. I like to leave things like I found them. I've been a custodian for 8 years.

“Faye was amazing. She watched my German Shepherd, Beretta, in her own home, over the holidays and on fairly short notice. She had me bring Beretta over to her home so we could meet her, and so we could see how Beretta did with the other dogs she was watching. Beretta can be shy, but Faye made her feel right at home. Faye also watched my three cats for me, and made daily visits to my house to check their food and clean the litter. She sent me daily updates on my four-legged friends while I was away, and even watered the Christmas tree for me. When I got back, everyone was healthy and so much happier than they ever are when they get boarded at a kennel. I will DEFINITELY use Faye again next time I leave town, and would highly recommend her to anyone. ”

About: I have cared for many types of dogs, big to small, young to old. One of my more recent clients had a big Labradoodle, who was a rescue and very skittish. I got along with Zooey right away, and we had some fun walks and runs. I love playing catch and tug-war with dogs as well. I myself am very energetic so I know how good it feels to get out in the fresh air and stretch your legs. I love dogs and cats, they are so full of love and I can't help but love them back. Since I have cared for many pets I know how to read them and give them space, pets and food when they need it. I have a cat of my own and know all the silly ways cats communicate.
