About: (Formerly Kamp Kelley) I have been fostering small dogs for a rescue group in No. VA. for the last 9 years (my aching back doesn’t allow me to work with dogs larger than 20 lbs)--prior to that I fostered cats and kittens. I has experience with many types of small dogs—especially Shih Tzu’s and Llasa Apso’s, but also Yorkshire Terriers, Basset Hounds, Pom's, Toy Poodles, etc. My expertise is in rescuing and caring for senior and special need dogs. Since I have a dog-friendly house and a large-fenced yard (1/4 acre) for them to run and play in, I decided to become a dog-sitter 5 years ago. I believe in loving and treating your fur-baby like my own! We keep her home and yard dog proof so your little angel will be in a safe, relaxed, dog-friendly, and loving environment! Because I am retired, my schedule is very flexible. I'm retired and except for occasional trips to the store, bi-weekly Bridge games. monthly book group and a occasional meeting, I'm home ALL THE TIME. At this point, I am accepting only ONE dog at a time EXCEPT if there are 2 dogs from the same household. Same for cats. I have a large, fenced yard that can be separated off. I have lots of dog equipment. For example large crates if your dog is used to being crated, bowls, beds and cushions, a big bed for them to share with me, jackets, leashes, kongs and lots of love and affection. Same for cats--EXCEPT, I let them out only on the back deck (enclosed).

About: Hello! My name is Kaylee, I am 23 years old and my biggest personality trait is my love for animals. If you were to ask someone who knows me, they may say “that girl with the zoo? I currently have 5 pets, who I consider my children, and that is the least amount of animals I have ever owned at once. (Only due to apartment living.) Caring for animals is my comfort and passion, it truly brings me joy. I have never lived a day without pets- and I don’t want to, so, I focused my career around them. However, I’m still in search of more! I am currently a manager at a dog boarding facility part time, and I love my job, but I would love to find more local work. At my facility, I am currently managing multiple groups of up to 20 free ranged dogs at a time. I have worked with nearly every dog breed out there, and I have loved them all. I have experience in handling many medical conditions in dogs, such as anxiety, allergies, seizures, joint issues, diabetes, asthma, and many more. I also have experience in administering a multitude of medications, including inhalers and insulin. I am currently working part time, and my work days are typically the same each week. I am unavailable on my work days during hours 4 AM- 3 PM, but I would love to work with you any other time! The approach I take to care for a pet depends on the pets temperament and needs. Day took charge and let Mira know to get off and waited for her to calm down before proceeding. Both dogs have specific needs ranging from sensitive stomach issues to elderly care issues. About: I have had dogs all my life and have always had the responsibilities to look after them. I have been around bigger dogs as well as smaller dogs and very familiar with senior care. I work full time but with a flexible schedule and a husband who works odd hours so I can be very flexible with times and dates! I am willing to travel within reasonable distance to look after your animals with reasonable notice. I do understand last minute things can happen as well.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
