When we picked him up early, he was still playing with his new friend and didn’t seem ready to leave. He is a 50lb, year and a half old puppy with seemingly endless energy, but after picking him up he was ready to take a good nap on the car ride home. She seemed very knowledgeable about animals and animal behaviors making me confident I was leaving my pup in good hands and letting me enjoy my camping trip.”

About: I recently left my job as a teller to stay home with my 14 year old dog. I want to be with him all the time. My goal is to take care of people’s pets so that they can don’t have to worry about them. I won’t have anything going on while your animal is in my care. They will be my focus. If I need to go somewhere, I can will take your pet with me. I have a relatively large, fenced backyard that your pet is welcome to enjoy. My dog loves playing out there. They’ll be wherever I am, be it on the couch or in the bed. They’ll be treated like family no matter where I am.

My goal as a pet professional is to make my time with your pets fun, exciting and productive! I have volunteered with retired racing Greyhound adoption for years by transporting, fostering and adopting them into their forever homes. Being a self-employed dog trainer, I am committed full-time to the pets in my care. Occasionally, when noted, I will have to step out for an in-home dog training lesson or walk, but I am able to return promptly, within 1-2 hours. I have a secure, privacy fenced backyard with cold water bowls, shade, raised dog beds, and toys to climb and play on. We love to pull out the puppy pool or sprinkler on hot summer days! Please note, dogs are never left unattended while out. If dogs must be left unattended for a short time, I have a fully suited up kennel room complete with a TV (to play cartoons or music), comfy blankets and cool AC or warm heat. For safety purposes, boarders will sleep overnight and enjoy their meals in their crates. I am a self-employed business owner, and dog training and pet care is my full-time job. My schedule is very flexible, as nearly all of my time is spent working with dogs, pets and my clients. Dogs will be crated for safety anytime they cannot be actively supervised, as well as during mealtimes. I have a fully suited, cozy kennel room in my home with heat/AC, music and a TV for comfort, plus a camera recording video footage for additional safety. My home is proofed, and my backyard has a secure 6.5ft privacy fence. Dogs will never be left unsupervised in the home or yard.

I have experience training dogs for 2 years with activities and commands such as house breaking, sit, speak, Shake, and many more simple commands. I am in school, but I’d love to take your dogs on runs with me in the park and out and about in the neighborhood. Coming home smelling like dog and covered in dog hair is my favorite thing. For pet sitting in my house, the dog can get in the bed or on the furniture, or it can sleep on the floor, totally your preference. I will take it out every two hours or so and do my best to follow your schedule that you have set with your pet. It’ll never know you’re gone.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and many other animals since I was 10. I have a senior chihuahua that is 18, so I am used to caring for senior pups and I have administered oral medications. I have always had a passion for working with animals and I will treat yours as if it’s my own! I just got out of the Navy last year and I am currently a student at UK! I only have classes two days a week right now so I have tons of availability. I currently live in an apartment that has a nice dog park right around the backside of my building! I take my 4 month old chihuahua there often. She gets along really well with both dogs and cats. My apartment is also in a neighborhood with tons of sidewalks and walking trails for me to take your pup on nice long walks!
