I spend the majority of my time at home, diligently expanding my knowledge base with research, writing papers, and completing assignments. My schedule includes just one 12-hour hospital clinical rotation per week, during which time my oldest child assists with walking and loving your fur baby until I get home. Besides the one clinical day, the longest time I am away from home otherwise is 3-4 hours max to attend on-campus classes twice a week. This carefully balanced weekly routine ensures that I have abundant time to provide unwavering attention, love, and care to your cherished furry companion. ***I am currently on a break from my coursework so I will be providing doggie & pet care services Full time from my home for now, so no hours or 12 hour shifts away from home currently ☺️*** Our quaint country home is nestled into the heart of Wilton, CA. Your doggie will enjoy lots of freedom to run & play on our 20 fenced acres and lots of exploring with my children and I. Currently our pet guests stay inside our house with us when they are not out and about playing and exploring. We keep our home at 75* so you can rest assured they will be comfy cozy on these hot Summer days. About: I’ve taken care of my girlfriend’s family’s 2 rottweilers and 1 miniature schnauzer, as well as their 2 cats, for periods of time that stretch from 3 days to 1 week. I always pay attention to the owner’s instructions on what the pets need, how to keep them entertained and healthy, and at what times to do what things. I will always put your pets’ safety first and provide the best service I can offer. Not currently working part time so pet care will be much easier and more efficient for me. Weekends are a coin toss as I may be on call on those days. I am a fast learner, so I will ensure that all your pets will be safe and doing their normal behaviors throughout your house, I will make sure no animals can run out and I will treat your pets with the utmost care and respect.

I'd love to learn more about you and your pets. I love animals! So much that I’ve had the joy of caring for one of my first cats, Em, while she was pregnant and gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens! She showed up as a skidish stray cat in our backyard, and I slowly lured her in with a treat trail. I befriended her and gave her pets. Instantly, the two of us connected even though she was wild. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day. A little about me: I worked at a petsmart in the grooming salon where we had to take extensive courses on dogs and cats, so I have experience working with dogs/cats from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I am as happy on a leisurely walk for a mellow dog who wants to sniff and explore as I am to tire out a dog with boundless energy. I have 2 dogs of my own and have had dogs and cats my whole life. You might catch me crying while watching videos of dogs getting adopted or lost dogs being found. If you think I'd be a good fit to take care of your best friend, please reach out! About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

About: Most my life has had domestic, exotic, and wild animals in it - I should've been a vet 🤣 I engage the breed's particular play styles for mental stimulation, get them involved and active, and though I've never professionally taught as a trainer I did foster a service dog and am always getting friend's pets/wild animals to do tricks or behavior work. Have helped birth litters of cats and dogs, and have properly managed a few other small medical treatments. Each pet is unique and I am happy to work with you to get the best supportive care for your furry family members - looking forward to helping with short or long walks, mild grooming, basic obedience work, feedings/medication aid, and can discuss short term sitting. My schedule is currently open! Routine is the best regulator of pets' behavior and I would love to arrange reoccurring visits with you depending on your pets' needs. Currently booking for short or long visits at any time. In home: Keep breakables/chewables up away from their level/area, teach good boundaries (off/out certain areas), and always double-check locks/doors/gates. Quick look for any stress signs like chewing/scratching, h2o and temperature check. A safe home den is important! I clean dishes & tools after feeding & grooming. I like to do a positive-affirmation dominance exercise at their bed to encourage bonding and discipline - would love to teach you this easy training trick too! Out-of home: Depends on the pets' training level, but ALWAYS err on the side of caution! Always use leashes, looped around the arm and anchored with the other hand, and I encourage single-side-only walking. Able to effectively manage social situations for your anxious ones. I stay very involved while at off-leash parks to maintain good recall and keep safe watch. Hydration and local no-animal laws are watched closely too!
