About: Diagnosed with allergies in childhood, I didn’t have pets until in my 20s, when I picked a week-old kitten from a litter & raised him. Thelonious used to walk between my shoulders as I moved around the house, and slept in my bed. Friends told me he behaved more like a dog than a cat—very affectionate. We were very close. His death broke my heart & I still miss him. Seven years ago, I did cat-sitting for a friend whose apartment in NYC I stayed in for a summer while working nearby on Varick Street. He was a very easygoing cat. Years later, my stepson left his dogs at our house & I was their primary minder. I fed, walked & played with them every day. Although I’d been around dogs a lot growing up, it’s one thing to be around them & another to be responsible for them & develop relationships with them. Each of the dogs had a very distinct personality, and I found them fascinating. Through those & other experiences with friends’ pets, I’ve found that I’m able to make connections with animals that go beyond words. I never would have imagined such a thing in childhood. These days I do house sitting & drop-ins for clients in Monmouth, Mercer & Middlesex Counties. I’m tending to pets with a wide range of needs & dispositions, and love I give is more than equaled by the love I receive from them. I’m truly humbled & in awe. Professionally, I managed desktop publishing & automated publishing for a Fortune 500 financial firm for 20 years. So I have a long track record of responsibility & discipline. That combination of sensitivity & responsibility are what I bring to pet sitting. I only accept clients living within a 30-minute drive from my home, and my routines at home are easily adaptable to meet my clients’ needs. That means my highly flexible schedule allows me to provide your cat with the consistent time, routine, and attention they deserve while you are gone. I don’t rush my check-ins; I stay the full duration to ensure your pet gets plenty of physical play and mental stimulation. Because my hours are highly adaptable, I can drop in at the exact times your pet expects breakfast, dinner, or treats. I’m happy to take photos during my stay to enable you as the pet owner to feel secure about your pet’s care in your absence. I like to play with & talk to pets, and try to adhere to their normal routines, so they, too, feel comfortable in your absence.

About: I currently work for a dog sitting company, but I would like additional work. I am experienced with animals and I have worked as a veterinarian assistant dog washer, doggy daycare, and kennel assistant I do daily care in your home overnight visits. I live in Jackson I will travel 30 minutes or so. I love working with dogs and cats. It’s my passion. I am dependable and trustworthy. My schedule is flexible. I am working part-time with another company right now, but I’m willing to do whatever needs to be done for your animal. I would care about your pet like it’s my own. One being a blind senior who does need guidance and lots of extra lovins. I love your pets as much as my own! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience. Your dog will be treated like one of my own—with lots of care, attention, and love. I currently work in an office setting so my availability is mainly Friday-Sunday and if needed after 6PM Monday-Thursday for a potty break or walk. About: Currently available as needed. Would provide play time, multiple potty breaks, and walks with my own dogs! Have large yard and tons of toys. I previously worked in a vet office, so giving medication is not a hassle. Dogs can do as they please while supervised. Working in a vet office has provided knowledge of basic cpr, how to help/ prevent a choking incident and how to orally give medication as well as administering vaccines and or insulin. I own many types of pets and would only trust the best for my kiddos, and I know im not alone! All animals deserve great care and love, and I would love to help provide that. When I booked her for four-days, then had to cancel due to a change in circumstances, she immediately responded and helped process the refund. The one day that she took our dogs out for a walk, she walked them for a mile, ensured they had food and water, and she even helped mop up their accidents. When we came home to greet our dogs, they were much calmer than normal. I believe this is due to the time, attention, and care that Averi put into her duties. About: There’s not been a day of my life where we didn’t have at least one dog in the house! I have also worked as a dog walker/petsitter for a small local business for several years. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even turtles and birds! I’d love to care for your pets too!! About: We always had pets growing up. Mom to young kids who love animals. Great exercise and fun for the kids! Reliable, trustworthy, and will take the utmost care of your animal. I’m part remote and kids are in nursery school part time so someone is usually always home throughout the week. Weekends are usually spent exploring a park or playground. If I’m dog sitting that week the pup always comes along! Always looking to get some fresh air, exercise, and meet new fur friends! I have a fenced (aluminum) in yard and my house is baby proof so gates in play room and upstairs. Your pet will become a fur family member while you are away and my kids and husband will love them. Im currently working part time remote so I can board at any time in the week as my schedule is very flexible. If I’m not home then my husband will be home with our kiddos and your pup. I have a fenced in yard and play gates in my house (for my kids) but also gives everyone space if needed. We go out for walks 2/3 times a day and we have a local playground we walk too in the neighborhood for some extra play. The kids love to engage with the pup and we usually spend a good amount of time outside throwing the ball or stick.

About: I've been caring for pets for a little over 5 years now. I used to work at a pet store handling fish, birds and small animals as well. I have a 5 year old golden retriever as well as 2 cats. I can help administer medications for dogs and cats that need it. I can also care for elderly dogs and puppies. I don't mind bathing them or doing nail trims either. I'm currently a college student doing online classes so I have plenty of time to drop by a clients house or to have them come to mine. Right now Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays work the mest with my schedule. I would be more than willing to negotiate other timings as well. I have a fenced in backyard and a dog to keep yours company. My entire house is pet friendly and welcoming. I can also crate your dog if needed and make the environment more comfortable for them

About: Hi, my name is Lovie. I’ve been pet-sitting for the past nine years! Growing up, we always had animals, including cats and dogs. It all started when I cared for my sister’s dog and gradually became the pet sitter for everyone in the family, including their friends. I feel incredibly grateful that I get to watch over everyone’s animals, and hopefully, you’ll entrust me as your pet sitter as well! My schedule is incredibly flexible. Since I own my own business and work from home, I can accommodate anyone’s schedule. Working with your pet won’t interfere with my work because I plan my schedule accordingly. I also take them for a few walks daily, depending on their exercise limitations. I strictly adhere to the food they’re permitted to consume! I understand the challenges of having a dog with sensitive health issues. My sister’s dog fell ill towards the end, so I gained valuable experience in caring for dogs with health restrictions. I shower them with love and affection, but also respect their need for personal space when required.

About: I’ve had multiple pets throughout my life whom I loved and took care of well through all stages of their lives. I’ve worked with dogs on basic commands and cared for my dog that passed from years of cancer. Most of my care was toward my own pets, but I love all animals! I am currently home for the summer, and I have a pretty open schedule to walk, check in on, and pet sit! My schedule is very flexible to work with whatever time I’m needed. I have a fenced in yard with grass, as well as a pool in the backyard. I no longer have any pets of my own, but many toys!
