About: Hi! I am a big dog lover and love caring for pets of all shapes and sizes! I know that every furry friend is unique. I have extensive experience with dog care as I grew up with them and began caring for them at a young age. I work a part time job that does take me away from care for several hours during the day. If your pet requires lots of attention/visits throughout the day I might not be the best person for the job :) I am a full time graduate student. I am available mornings, afternoons and nights as well as full time on the weekends. Each semester gives me a different schedule but I generally have time for a lunch break to swing by and give some pets and a quick walk. Let me know what your pet needs and I will put in my best efforts to make it work! I do not have my own home available for sitting however I am comfortable staying overnight with your pet. I am flexible for you and your pets needs. Let me know your preferences and I will accompany them!
“We are so grateful for the care Oliana provided for our sweet kitty, Sybil. Oliana sent pictures every day which helped ease our minds while we were away. She was also very easy to communicate with. We will definitely book with Oliana again!”

“Jessica was great! I informed her my dog wasn’t the friendliest with new people or dogs and she didn’t waver- instead she had a great vibe when working with my dog and made my dog the calmest I’ve experienced with rover sitters. Would 100% use her again!”
“Shelbie was great with my dogs, very communicative and respectful of my home! I could tell my dogs felt comfortable around her and that she truly loves animals from the pictures she sent.”

“Cosmo did such a great job with Mozey! From feeding to entertaining, Mozey loves him! In fact he gets excited when he sees Cosmo. We definitely trust Cosmo and will ask him back for sure!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter while we were away for two weeks! She took such terrific care of our cat and gave us complete peace of mind the entire time. She was attentive, reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about our cat's comfort and well-being. We loved receiving updates and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

I am dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities and energy levels. My experience includes feeding, walking, exercising, administering basic care, cleaning, overnight stays, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I understand how important trust and communication are when caring for someone’s animals, and I always treat every pet like they are my own. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special instructions to help keep their schedule consistent and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect the space, keep things clean and secure, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and affection. I carefully monitor pets during walks and outdoor time to ensure their safety at all times. I also have experience caring for multiple types of animals, including dogs, cats, and horses, and I am comfortable with pets of different ages, temperaments, and activity levels. About: I have had animals in my life ever since I was 4 years old. I'm pretty new to Rover, but have been petsitting by word of mouth since 2020! I've done extensive research on pets and what kind of care they prefer, what kind of diets are healthiest for them, and all the details that bridge the gap between their domestication and their primal instincts. I will provide loving care to dogs, cats, and other small animals like birds, hamsters, rabbits etc, and I will leave your house in just as good, if not better, condition than I found it! I work full time, but my schedule at work is incredibly flexible, so I am available on weekdays and weekends. I can take animals on walks if needed, or just be there to feed them and let them out daily. I am very flexible in terms of what services I offer, as it depends on what services you need! I can come and petsit at your house, and I can spend the night if you don't want your fluffy friends to get lonely. I can board for certain pets but not all, as I have a very picky cat of my own, so it is best to message me directly about what you are looking for!

“Johanna did an amazing job taking care of my pup while I was out of town. Handled everything that came up with ease and kept me in the loop the entire time. Plus took super cute pictures of my pup which I enjoyed seeing while I was away. 10/10”

About: With 15 years of pet care experience, I've built a reputation as the sitter friends and family turn to when they need someone they can truly trust. Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats gave me an intuitive understanding of pet behavior, and over the years I've cared for digs of all sizes from gentle giants to tiny lap dogs, anxious rescues to energetic puppies. What makes me different is my versatility and adaptability. I'm equally comfortable managing multi-dog households, caring for dogs and cats simultaneously, and adjusting to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether you have a senior dog requiring gentle, patient care or a high-energy breed that needs extra playtime, I know how to read their cues and provide exactly what they need to feel safe and loved. My experience with diverse breeds and household dynamics means I can handle whatever curveballs your pets might throw! I take pride in maintaining each pet's individual routine while ensuring harmony in multi-pet homes. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout my visits, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are not just being watched, but truly cared for by someone who understands that every pet is someone's beloved companion. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or is more go-with-the-flow, I'll adapt to what works best for them and your family! I believe the key to excellent pet care is maintaining consistency with your pet's established routine and household rules. When caring for pets in your home, I take detailed notes about their daily schedule, feeding times, favorite spots, and any house rules—whether that means staying off certain furniture or having free rein of the couch. Your pet's comfort stems from familiarity, so I ensure that nothing changes from their normal routine. I provide the same level of attentive care - regular exercise, plenty of affection, and constant supervision. I also maintain open communication throughout, sending updates and photos so you can see how well your pet is settling in and enjoying their time with me.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
