About: Our family has adopted, cared for and loved three dogs and four cats over the years. Currently we have 1 friendly small dog, Patches. My husband and I completed an 8-week dog obedience training that built our comfort/confidence with interacting and caring for many different dog breeds with various personalities. I work from home and am available to care for your cherished pet the way that you prefer during your absence. Your pet will have multiple potty outings throughout the day. I walk our dog once a day in the evening around our neighborhood, but would be happy to walk your pet more at your request. Your pet is welcome to go on a car ride with me and Patches if an errand is necessary during your pet’s stay. We have a large yard with a 4ft tall fence where your pet can run free and stay contained without a leash, if you wish. If you prefer, your pet can be crated but we do not require crating and we do not have a kennel. When our two children are not at school, they may help keep your pet happy and active.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my household my whole life, learning pet care essentials as a young child and expanding my knowledge to train my own dogs as an adult. I work Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm, and often take my lunch break at home to be able to spend time with my pup. My work schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate check-ins throughout the day as needed. Evenings are playtime, and in warm months I bring my girl with me for evening walks, jogs, and hikes! I have a fenced yard for pets in my home, and plenty of space for their crates if they are crate-trained. When house-sitting, I can spend as much or as little time with your pet in your home as you are comfortable with!

“10 out of 5 stars! Carl was wonderful with Mollie and Bob. I was very nervous to leave them and it was a relief knowing they were in good hands. I got lots of photos of the fur kids and regular updates letting me know they were doing great. Bob has some anxiety and will get finicky about eating. He didn't lose any weight with Carl and clearly felt very loved and at home. I'll definitely use Carl for my next trip.”
