About: Im working on a biology degree, as well as 10 years of taking care of my own pets. I love spending time with all the little ones, no matter how shy or rowdy they are! Im in between classes at the moment, and have nothing but free hours. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays I work untill about 3, but other than that my schedule is entirely open! Ive taken care of my dogs with frequent walks, regular feeding times and lots and lots of love. Pets and playtime are important to me as well. About: Last summer, I had the opportunity to take care of my friend’s dog while they were on vacation. The dog’s name was Max, a playful golden retriever with a lot of energy. Every morning, I would take him for a long walk around the neighborhood park. I made sure to feed him twice a day and always kept his water bowl full. In the afternoons, we would play fetch in the backyard, and in the evenings, he loved sitting next to me while I read a book. Taking care of Max taught me how much responsibility it takes to care for a pet, but it was also a lot of fun and a great bonding experience. I want to become a dog caregiver because I truly love animals, especially dogs. They are loyal, friendly, and bring so much happiness to people’s lives. Spending time with dogs makes me feel relaxed and joyful. I enjoy playing with them, taking them for walks, and making sure they feel safe and loved. I also believe that taking care of dogs is a great way to stay active and learn responsibility. Helping dogs stay healthy and happy would give me a lot of satisfaction. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. Every morning, I start the day by feeding my dog and making sure he has fresh water. I also take him for a walk to give him some exercise and let him go to the bathroom. In the afternoons or evenings, I spend time playing with him, brushing his fur, and sometimes giving him a bath if needed. On weekends, I take him to the park for longer walks or playtime with other dogs. Taking care of my pet has become a natural and enjoyable part of my life, and it helps me stay active and responsible. When I care for pets in my home or my client’s home, I always make sure their basic needs are met first. This includes providing fresh food and water, taking them out for walks, and giving them enough time to play and exercise. I also clean up after them and make sure their sleeping area is comfortable and safe. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. I also spend time giving the pets attention, affection, and monitoring their behavior to make sure they are healthy and happy. Communication with the pet owner is very important, so I always send updates and photos to let them know how their pet is doing.

About: I have a German shepherd and know how to walk and care for larger breed dogs correctly. I also know how to properly use a prong collar and will do long walks if necessary! :) I work part-time but early mornings work best for me. I usually will go to a near by trail for runs/walks with my dog who will be brought along also. I take my dog on daily 3-4 mile runs/walks/hikes to get his exercise in, he has lots of energy. I know how to handle reactive dogs as well!

About: We don't have any pets of our own, but have experience with taking care of cats/dogs for our friends, family, and now Rover clients! My fiancé and I both work from home, so we love being able to keep your pets company. We also have a fenced-in backyard (turf/artificial grass and cement with a shaded patio) where we can play fetch or let your dog sunbathe 🌞 I'm available during the week and on weekends to care for your dogs or cats. My fiancé and I both work from home, and are flexible to take breaks to walk or play with your pets! When boarding your pets, we can offer them plenty of love and attention! For dogs, we usually do at least 2-3 walks per day (we keep the afternoon ones short if it's too hot). We have a large fenced-in backyard and a few parks in walking distance. For cats, we love playing with them with wand toys or simple yarn, or putting some Cat TV on for them haha.

About: Since I can remember, I have always been around and loved dogs. Growing up, my Grandma owed many dogs and was very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and their needs. I started pet sitting when I was in elementary school, with my family members and neighbor's pets. As I got older, I started reaching out to others to offer dog sitting and house sitting services.(Before Rover) Currently, my partner and I rescued a partially blind husky name Zoro. He is a very goofy, calm, loving and gentle dog who is not your typical husky. Currently, i have a flexible work schedule so client pet care can occur at least 2-3 times a week. Availability: Mon - Fri: 3PM - 10PM Sat - Sun: Free availability I have a 6000 sq. ft. house with fencing along the perimeter. In the front, their is a shady avocado tree and porch where your dogs can play and nap. In addition, I have a backyard and garden where your dog can chill and sniff away. Dogs are always accepted inside the household. We are here to accommodate to your dogs needs.

About: I grew up around many domesticated animals my entire childhood, not just dogs but cats, fish, birds, hamsters, etc., to the point where I fondly referred to my childhood home as a zoo. My ability to care for those different animals have not disappeared; quite the contrary, it is constantly and consistently growing.
