“Christy was AMAZING!! She understood my cat's needs which allowed him to feel secure with her. Christy listened carefully to my cat's diet and medication routines and copied them to a tee. My cat remained happy and healthy because of Christy's exceptional care! Christy also helped me feel better about leaving my diabetic cat at home by sending updates and pictures with each visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Christy! Thank you so much!”

About: I'm not sure if this sets me apart from anyone on this site but, I love dogs. My family loves dogs. We have had them in our lives for our entire lives, some shorter for shorter spurts than others. One thing I found out from each gifted moment was that dogs are not just there to own. They are there for us as much as we are for them sometimes more. We offer a family setting full of love and joy, pets and snuggles. My wife is a certified dog instructor who has worked for rover in the past. I loved doing it so much I wanted to take it back up! Pet care can be implemented at any point throughout the day. I can take them for regularly scheduled walks if necessary upon availability (to avoid double bookings) I have a fully 6 ft privacy fenced yard (60×85). We have many dog toys we have retained from previous loved ones and two energetic children that love to run and play. Comfy surfaces everywhere.

“Timothy gave our cat top notch care. He gave us daily updates with several pictures. We came home to a happy well cared for cat!! I would not hesitate to have him watch our cat again!! He went above and beyond our expectations!!”

“Brianna has been doing drop in/walk visits with Parker. She’s fantastic with him, so clearly a dog lover!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of him, and I would highly recommend her!!”

“Kim did an awesome job dropping in and taking care of our cat Nugget while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. She gave us good updates when she visited and we always felt like we could trust her.”

About: I have taken care of many animals in my life; dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, geckos, bearded dragons, frogs, turtles, fish, and more. I am also very good at taking care of senior animals or animals with special attention in general as I have lots of experience with picky eaters, sensitive diets, allergies, and medication. I am also CPR certified for dogs and cats in the case of an emergency. I am a very clean individual so I will keep your home neat while also providing loving care for your pet. I care deeply for all animals and can assure that your pets needs will be put first above everything else! I understand that schedules are tricky to maneuver so I am able to work whenever I am needed as long as I don’t have another pet care gig at the same time. I am very good at matching energy with animals so I can play with them for hours or take them on long walks if they are energetic or simply sit around with them with shorter walks if they are older. I am also really good at following directions so if you have special instructions for your pet, I will follow them perfectly! Otherwise I will use my knowledge on animals to assure that your pet is happy and healthy the entire time you’re gone!

“Flexible and reliable as always! We always appreciate the pictures and detailed notes about Mac’s mood and activities and most importantly, your genuine care for our big guy!”

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, and I truly love them equally—I could never pick a favorite. I currently have a cat of my own, and I’m often around dogs thanks to family and friends. I’d be happy to help take care of your pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I work from home most days, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I make sure to take a midday walk around noon, so I’m always available for lunchtime strolls. I’m also comfortable with early morning or evening walks—whatever works best for you and your pet! I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety, respecting their space and routine based on your preferences. I’ll make sure they feel secure and cared for at all times. At home, I have one very friendly and social cat who’s used to being around other animals and people.

“Kat has made a very sad puppy happy. Thank you for helping us out during this time. Emma is returning to her normal self after losing her partner in crime.”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities! I currently have two senior dogs, a playful puppy, and a sweet cat, all of whom I’ve trained and cared for myself. I grew up walking dogs in my neighborhood and pet sitting for family friends, which sparked my lifelong passion for animals. I’m experienced with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra love and patience. I’ve also cared for parrots and guinea pigs, so I’m confident with a wide variety of animals and routines. Whether it’s walks, playtime, medication, or cuddles—I’ve got it covered with lots of love and attention ’m currently looking for a summer job and have lots of availability, which means I can be flexible and fully present for your pet’s needs. Since I already care for my own pets daily, including walks, playtime, feeding, and training, pet care is naturally part of my everyday routine. I love spending time with animals, and I’m excited to help other pet parents feel at ease while they’re away! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat them like I would my own—with patience, love, and lots of attention. I follow your routine as closely as possible so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their normal environment. Whether it’s sticking to feeding times, going on their favorite walking route, or just spending time with them so they’re not lonely, I do my best to help them feel at ease. I also make sure to be respectful of your home and leave things just as I found them. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your pet and be in your space, and I take that seriously.

About: With over 30 years experience with animals of all types, your pet is in terrific hands. We (John and Erin) have 4 dogs of our own and we've fostered over 55 dogs over the last year and half (6 of which are in our profile picture!). We've nurtured these dogs and, eventually, adopted them to loving families of their own. We've seen it all, and we're happy to watch over your pet! We are both home during the day and have flexible schedules. We can check on your pet throughout the day, in the evening, or on weekends. Every dog is different, and we will provide the level of care needed for each pet. At our home, we have a fully fenced backyard, with quiet streets for walks. In a client's home, we will provide whatever care is needed based on the instructions we receive. Every dog is different - some require more care than others. We've worked with all types of dogs- big, small, active, quiet. We will provide the care that your pet needs.

About: With over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even bunnies, I bring a calm, confident presence that pets (and their people) trust. I treat every animal like family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I'm currently back in school with a flexible schedule, which means I have dedicated time throughout the day to focus on pet care. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I make sure your pet gets consistent attention, love, and care. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs to create a calm, stress-free environment. In your home, I maintain your pet’s normal schedule to keep things familiar and reassuring. I’m attentive, respectful of your space, and committed to keeping both you and your pet feeling secure and at ease.

“Elizabeth treats our cat and chinchillas like her own and it’s always so wonderful knowing our furry friends are in great hands whenever we’re out of town. She administers daily meds and goes above and beyond to make sure the pets are all happy and healthy. My cat gets very anxious during Thunderstorms, but Elizabeth takes the time to help calm him down and make sure he’s at ease. It’s incredible the difference we’ve seen in our animals since Elizabeth started caring for them. Our cat in particular used to have a lot of behavior issues whenever we’d go out of town. We haven’t had any of those issues since Elizabeth started watching him. She gives them the routine and attention they need, and we always come home to very happy healthy pets!”

About: I have been a responsible pet owner (dog mom) for 23 years. I have great deal of experience taking care of dogs, especially large dogs. I believe all dogs should be treated with love and kindness and as part of the family. I have gone through multiple dog training courses with my dogs I have had and I will implement those skills when I take care of your pet. I look forward to making a pawsitive impact for you and your pet! I currently work full time but I am available evenings and weekends for drop in visits, play time, and walks. My service area is Blaine, Circle Pines, Ham Lake, and Fridley. I will provide safe care in your home and follow all instructions and safety precautions that apply to your pet. As a dog mom to a reactive dog in the past, I realize the safety that is needed when walking a dog or visiting them at their home. Safety is the top priority of your pet and home.

About: I have had at least one dog for my entire life. I grew up around them and started taking care of my neighbors' and friends' dogs while they were away a couple of years ago. I currently work completely remotely so I have more than enough time to check in with your pups. I am available almost 24/7 and am flexible with your needs. I make sure they go to the bathroom so no accidents happen and if one were to happen I would clean it for no additional fee.

About: I grew up with dogs - hunting dogs bred by small family business - and have always had dogs. We have resident dogs, we foster, and we board and do drop in visits. We just love these canines. Positive reinforcement, only. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule over the mid day, in particular, for drop ins. Overnight boarding pups just become part of everything we do, as a family and with our own dogs. We regularly foster so our dogs are very used to other dogs in the home. We have a large fenced yard, we live in the woods, and we have dog parks nearby, also, if your canine is a dog park kiddo.

About: I have owned or cared for pets my entire life. I love animals so much and want them to feel that love. I am patient and kind and will provide that care that you need for your pets! I work for myself and have a very flexible schedule so I am open to what works best for ou and your family and your pets :) I currently can not provide care at my own home as I live in an apartment, but I will gladly come to you and your home until I am at a space that allows for pets. I am able to take your pet on walks as well and love to be active and outdoors with them when needed.

About: I have had many dogs in my life, my daughter and her family have several dogs as well. I don't currently have a dog; she had to go to doggie heaven last year. I miss her a lot, and getting out walking is still what I do each day. Walking your dog or spending time with your dog is good for me as well as your dog. I will be getting a dog in the near future and then maybe my dog can play with your dog on the visits. I love puppies and senior dogs too! I'm self-employed and work out of my home. Given I'm the owner of my business I create my own schedule and can adjust and modify to fit your schedule of when your dog needs to be let out. My weekends are open and available. Going to your home offers the dog all of the comfort of their own space. Each dog is different, I will ask you the dog's owner what the needs are for treats, walks and any other special needs the dog may have that is required.

“Kylie is wonderful! She has taken care of our dog and cat several times. Both are aging and so require meds given daily and a little extra love and attention. Kylie is always prompt, responsible, and very good about giving updates or asking questions if needed. She has also taken care of our son's dog who is a large 75 pound puppy. She has no problem with his puppy energy on walks! I highly recommend Kylie as a Rover.”
