“Becca leaves us detailed notes and many cute pictures every time she comes hang out with our pup. We can tell that our pup gets lots of love and attention from her. We are super happy that our pup is well cared for when we’re away. We will be using Becca as our regular pup-sitter. Highly recommended!”

“Katie is beyond exceptional! One of our hamsters escaped while we were on vacation and she came over on a day she was not scheduled to visit. We booked her for our last trip as well and everything was great! I would definitely recommend!”

About: With more than a decade of pediatric nursing experience, I would love to give your pet, and you, a tremendous sense of peace while you’re away. Though I’m accustomed to giving medications to tiny humans, I’m more than capable and willing to give pet medicines too. I currently work full time Monday - Friday but can do drop-ins before or after work as well as on weekends. I have some flexibility of hours as well. Feel free to ask about any scheduling needs and I’ll see if I’m able to accommodate. I would love to care for your pet in their home environment. Not only am I just plain a good human, but as a member of the nursing profession, I am held to high standards.

About: I’ve had years of experience with taking care of pets, including my own. I’ve also house and pet sit for my neighbors at times since I was in high school and I love to take care and make animals happy! I’ve also had experience with taking care of a senior dog last year for a family member’s parents. I’m currently doing contract work at Life.Church especially on the weekends, local musician, and will be quitting another job soon. My availability is open anytime Monday-Saturday, I can also do a drop in visit for your pet even on days where I’m busy at church! Just work out a time and let me know when you need and we’ll work out a time that fits both of us and your pet! :) I have a Guinea pig that I take care of everyday, and 2 small dogs that my mom owns, and a bird. I am looking for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting for you type jobs and not boarding visits.
About: I've taken care of animals of a wide range since I was barely able to walk! I've owned / or cared for: dogs, cats, crested geckos, birds and rodents! I'm also used to giving insulin to animals, as I have a diabetic dog of my own currently. I am currently trying to find a full time position again so pet care right now is my primary focus, along with crafts, organizing and doing some much needed detail work. Since I will be doing home visits primarily, I will ask for specifics because I know the devil is in the details. With all pets, entrances and exits will be quadruple checked and observed to ensure there are no furry escapees. But for specifics, my clients know their homes better than I do so I will ask specifics. Do certain doors not open all the way? Do the animals have a tendency to bolt through? And things of that nature.
“BrieAnn was amazing. She was super communicative and followed directions to a t. She also sent great pictures letting me know how things were going. Nothing better than the reassurance that your pup is being well taken care of and is having a blast playing. Coming home to a happy pup who was taken care of the way you would have done it is invaluable. Def recommend using BrieAnn”

“This was a last-minute need for us and our first time using Rover. And we are very happy that we found Rover. I highly recommend using Anita to watch your puppies. She took the time to come over and meet us and our dogs. She showed up on time every day that we needed her and most importantly our dogs loved her. We are very attached to our dogs and we loved the fact that she would send us pictures after every visit. We will definitely be using rubber and Anita again if you’re looking for a good person to watch your dogs Anita is the one!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have house-sat for friends and their pets since I was 14. I’m calm, caring, reliable, and passionate about making pets feel safe and loved. I currently have an open schedule, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. I’m available Monday through Friday during the daytime and can give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and care. I treat every pet with the same care and attention I would give my own. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, respect their home, and make sure their pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and pictures so you know how your pet is doing.

“Jenna took great care of our dogs Shiner and Hank while we were away for the weekend. Our power went out for a few hours while we were gone so the house got a little warm and Jenna checked in on them again to make sure it had cooled off. She even vacuumed up some of the dog hair which was so thoughtful and a pleasant surprise!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cimarron City. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
