About: I’ve spent 17 years caring for other people’s pets, beginning with pet sitting at age 16 and later working as a veterinary technician and horse farm manager. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. I’m confident with dogs of every size and age—from playful puppies and giant breeds to seniors, anxious dogs, and pets with special needs. My experience with cats, dogs, horses, and other farm animals has made me calm, patient, and attentive to body language, even with large or nervous animals. I cared for my own senior dog through arthritis, hip problems, and renal failure, and I now share my life with a tripawd dog with anxiety. I understand the patience and creativity sometimes needed to support mobility, comfort, medications, supplements, specialized diets, and changing routines. I’m also comfortable administering veterinarian-prescribed oral, topical, and intramuscular medications and subcutaneous fluids. I’ll care for your pet with the same attentiveness and affection I give my own, follow your instructions carefully, and keep you connected through thoughtful updates and plenty of photos. Pet care is already a natural part of my everyday routine. I care for my own tripawd dog, including regular walks, feeding, enrichment, and the extra patience needed for her mobility and anxiety. I enjoy building my day around animals and understand how important consistency is to their comfort. I offer drop-in visits during daytime and evening hours throughout the week, including weekends. I keep my Rover calendar current and accept only the visits I can complete reliably, so your pet receives my full attention and care at the time we’ve arranged. For drop-in visits, I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where familiar surroundings and routines can help them feel secure. I follow each family’s instructions closely, including feeding, fresh water, medications, walks or potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, litter-box care, and any household details you would like handled. Safety begins with learning about your pet’s routine, temperament, medical needs, triggers, equipment, and emergency contacts. Before walks, I check collars, harnesses, and leashes for a secure fit, and I remain attentive to body language and our surroundings. I never force interaction with a nervous pet and allow trust to develop at their pace. I take care when entering and leaving, confirm that doors and gates are secured, clean up after your pet, and make sure they are comfortable before I go. After every visit, I’ll send a thoughtful update with photos and let you know about eating, drinking, bathroom habits, behavior, medications, or anything unusual I notice.

About: I have lovingly looked after pets of all kinds my whole life. I will meet your pet exactly where they are-I can chase and play with your dog across the yard, or I can be extra gentle and caring with your senior pet. I'm a student online. I'm very lucky that my girlfriend has a job that pays really well. As a result, I have plenty of availability for pet care! I have a reliable vehicle to get to your home and look after your pet. I can handle great, big, tough pets as well as small, fragile, senior pets. I keep the area tidy for the pets and the owners alike. I'm great with toys and playtime. I am great company for any pet.

About: I have been working in boarding and daycare facilities for many years, as well as having my own foster organization ran out of my home, and I also have two dogs of my own! I work as a babysitter/nanny part-time, but my schedule is very flexible and I am able to change hours and days very frequently or as needed I will treat your home as I would want someone to treat mine, as well as the animals. About: Hi everyone this is an update as of July 2026. I am a retired American Airlines Flight Attendant. I like to travel, do volunteer work, workout, meet my good women friends for coffee, lunch, etc, and spend time with my partner (a retired pilot). We occasionally sit together and he enjoys all my lovable pets as much as I do. I am about as risk free and responsible as they come! Hopefully, I can help out those who need pet/ house sitting. Also available if you just need someone to come for a few hours. These services are for dogs under 20 lbs and cats. If you have larger dogs that do not require walking, I can let them in and out (if you have a fenced in backyard) play with them, exercise, feed, water, meds, etc. Otherwise, if they need walking I need to stick to the under 20lbs. I can sit and housesit/ visit cats also, my only request is that there is a room for me to sleep in that the cats do not use. Yes, I am slightly allergic and I do wear my mask when brushing them. I have unfortunately, put my Bichon/ Maltese of 16 years down about 4 years ago. So I do not own a dog or cat at present. She had a collapsed trachea and some heart issues and was starting to have high risk seizures at 16. Hence, I am familiar with elder dogs and giving them medications. Before Maddie I had a female golden who lived to be 15 and 1/2. I have also owned two cats over my lifetime. Thank you for your interest and let me know if I can help you out. Also feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I am retired with a couple of hourly volunteer positions and I travel on occasion. Consequently, I have plenty of time to give your dog(s) or cat(s) special attention! Unfortunately, I cannot have the Fur babies over to my house because of my landlord's restrictions, but more than willing to come by to let your dog out for exercise, walk, feed, water, snuggle, and give medications. I can also spend the night while you're on vacation, check your mail, and water plants.

My girl cat, it takes patience with her as she is very scared and hides and Michael really wanted her to get some attention. There was a slight break in her when Michael wanted to stop by to feed them dinner with my approval even though he was only instructed to just feed them breakfast. About: I’m comfortable caring for pets of all kinds! not just dogs and cats, but reptiles, rabbits, and many more! I treat every pet like my own, especially by adapting my care to their specific needs, routines, and personalities. I have a turtle and a dog so IM very used to showing love to these attention needing furballs! Everyone deserves a bit of love and I have plenty to go around! I can wash you dog up really nice even give them a trim. I have a dog and a big yard,(it’s not fenced). However, our dogs can keep each other company run around come inside eat snacks and even have cuddle time!

About: I can adapt to a pet’s mood/temperament and do the upmost to remain mindful of all their needs! I grew up helping my dad raise and breed beagles and I have cared for pets over 20 years whether they were my own or owned by family. I joined in 2024 when I lived in Kansas City, MO but ended up having zero time! So now that I’m back in Maryland, I’m ready to assist pets and their owners! 🩷 I am in school full-time so am mostly available on Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Very occasionally, I can be available for pet care weekday evenings. I do not board pets as one of my cats is very anxious so I will have to go to client’s home to pet sit. Nevertheless, I will triple check that everything is in place and doors are locked prior to leaving a client’s home. For walking, I will triple check that leashes/harnesses are secure and I do not listen to music so I can be 100% aware of my surroundings and the needs of furbabies.

About: I’ve worked many professional jobs that have allowed me the opportunity to work with cats and dogs from all ranges of breeds and ages. I have my own dog as well as 5 household cats! I love the joy pets bring into our lives and I enjoy caring for them. I’m flexible with most schedules and can incorporate them into my schedule.
