Susan was sent from heaven for us. Her location was convenient for our trip from Ocean Pines to Cocoa Beach, added to our travel experience. My Trudy fell in love with her right away, and I knew her vacation would be just as special as ours. I'll ask for Susan on future trips. Professional and loving, that's Sue...

We have used Jaclyn’s services twice now and would not hesitate to again. We love getting photos of Dani’s visit, which we call her “field trip” or “sleep over”. Jaclyn is very responsive and quick to answer any questions. She was also very understanding and easy to work with when our travel plans had to be postponed for a short time.

Dawn is a good communicator, keeping us in touch with our Rocky’s well being and sending pictures to let us know he was enjoying His vacation too. We were very happy with Dawn’s care of our dog. Thank you.

I was very pleased with the care they provided to my Golden, Jax. They are truly dog lovers and Jax made himself right at home and was like one of the family. Also, appreciated the many updates and pictures of Jax during his visit at their home. Definitely would highly recommend them and will be using their services again.

Lamar and his family are absolutely amazing! We found out at the last minute that our Airbnb didn’t allow pets, and I was devastated trying to find someone I could trust to care for my little guy. From the moment we met Lamar, he made us feel so welcome and immediately put my mind at ease. Throughout Gus’s stay, he sent us photos and updates, which meant so much and reassured us that he was happy, safe, and well cared for. It’s clear that Lamar is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely loves animals. I am so grateful we found him, especially on such short notice. I highly recommend Lamar to anyone looking for exceptional pet-sitting services. We will absolutely choose him again whenever we’re back in Ocean City. I only wish he lived closer to us!

Our dogs can be challenging and this was the first time they've ever been boarded. McCray did a great job taking care of them and giving them tons of attention...all during the holidays, which is not easy.

Our 1 year old pitbull mix with a strong dose of anxiety had an amazing time with Denise, her wonderful family and Rocket, their dog. We received videos and pictures throughout the stay. They were so patient with our pup that she didn't want to leave when we came to pick her up!! Glad to find such a wonderful sitter so close!

About: I currently have a cat and a golden retriever and would love to help you take care of your dog while you are in need. I work from home Monday through Friday so my schedule allows me to be very flexible for potty breaks and general playtime while I'm taking care of your best friend. We have over 3/4 of an acre of property and are also located in the heart of Berlin...So a walk or outside playtime is no problem.

About: Hi, I’m Jordan a lifelong dog owner with professional kennel experience and a Biology degree. I bring both heart and expertise to every pup in my care. My home sits on 6 gorgeous acres of waterfront property in Princess Anne, Maryland, giving dogs plenty of space to roam and explore. I work from home, so your dog will be well watched and cared for while you’re away. Requirements Since my property is unfenced, I ask that all guests be: • House trained • Crate trained • Recall trained or e-collar trained • Up to date on flea & tick prevention Your dog won’t just be watched they’ll be on their own little vacation. 🐾 I work from home full time, I am extremely flexible and live on 6 acres of land that includes waterfront for your dog to join my dog dude in swimming and playing fetch in the yard. 6 acres are not fenced but I can walk on leash, tether to a lead or allow off leash if they have good recall/remote training. Please provide crates for indoors.

About: Rover takes so much of the income - high prices can be negotiated down! I do this regularly and have been for many years! Contact me ! Dog trainer/ care giver 🖤 At home I have two large breed dogs, and one cat who are my absolutely life! In my spare time I am always walking in our local town and doing training sessions as training is my passion! Throughout the week I am nanny- however I was previously for the past 3 years a full time dog trainer at Shore Dog training and a vet tech at Berlin Animal Hospital 🖤 I work consistently 8:30 -5:30 MON - FRI my schedule is incredibly flexible so 3 walks and let outs are always easy to do! As I do not have a fenced in yard, I do heavily rely on taking animals out and about. I do have a crate in my vehicle, because safety is my upmost importance! When we do go out and about, I tend to walk around town and well-known areas! I do not allow off leash dogs or on leash dogs to meet client dogs as It could be a safety concern. However, if the owner is not comfortable with field trips, I do offer different types of enrichment throughout the day kongs, lick Mats, ect as well as a large play area for both cats and dogs at my residence. For more info contact me ! Along side field trips/ outings and enrichment opportunities I offer structured play sessions and LOTS of belly rubs ! I will also do some grooming if you would like!

Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
