“David and his family were so great taking care of Mr.Weenie! It was a huge sense of relief knowing he was in good hands during his stay. David sent updates with pictures and videos. Mr weenie was given a lot of love and attention along with baths and play time. I will definitely be using David again in the future!”

“Alisha and her family did a great job taking care of our dog, Truckee! She sent daily updates and he came home tired and happy. We could tell he was well taken care of and felt right at home during his stay. Would definitely recommend Alisha for anyone looking for a caring, communicative and attentive sitter!”

“Matthew provided excellent care for our dog Basil and frequent updates while we were out of town. When Basil got sick unexpectedly, he took him to the vet twice, made homemade chicken and rice, and helped administer medicine. This was a huge relief to us and his care was above and beyond! We would definitely use Matthew again to board and care for Basil”

“This was Shadow's second stay with Jenn and he was so excited upon arrival I don't think he noticed when I left. I got plenty of pictures and updates and Shadow look like he's having a great time. I highly recommend Jenn.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for four years and absolutely love caring for dogs. Having two dogs of my own has taught me how important it is to give pets plenty of love, attention, patience, and care. I also understand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else because I’ve been in that position myself. I know how important it is to feel comfortable and trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m a stay at home wife, so I’m home most of the day and have plenty of time to care for your pup. I’m available for boarding, playtime, walks, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I can also keep your dog’s normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get some fresh air. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who love having company. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone, so I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and cared for. I’m happy to follow your instructions, routines, and any special needs your dog may have.
“Zoey just finished a 10 day stay with Tanya and Mango and she had a blast! Her and Mango get along so great and now Zoey is depressed at home and missing her friend. Tanya sent photos, was responsive, and so accommodating when I wanted to extend my stay. Highly recommend!”

“Mike was a true gift during a very emotional and busy time. With family in town for my father’s funeral, I needed a peaceful place for my dog Bo to stay for a few days. Mike and Shari welcomed him into their beautiful, woodsy home—with picture windows that Bo immediately wanted to look out, and a calm, comforting vibe. When I picked him up at the end of his stay Bo was a relaxed and happy dog! Thanks guys!”

“Our dogs had an AMAZING experience with Bailey and Kyle! They were so welcoming and loving to our fur babies from the moment they met, and it was beyond evident that they are true dog lovers! They shared pictures with us throughout their stay and kept us up to date on how much FUN they were all having. In all seriously, our dogs were sad to leave! This was the most comfortable I've ever felt while away on vacation...our dogs were in such good hands!”

“Kevin and his partner were fantastic! They took excellent care of Edgar while I was gone, and pampered him to boot! Edgar was very sad to leave Kevin's side, and he had to be carried out.”

“Our dog, Edgar, couldn't have been in better hands. It was obvious that she truly enjoys dogs, and ours as well. She was so faithful in making sure he had the basics (food, a comfortable place to sleep, etc.), but she went out of her way to provide exercise with walks, play sessions, and outings. She kept in touch with us, providing several photos so we could see what Edgar was doing. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her.”
“Very accommodating and responsive to us and to Koa. Kept us updated on his interactions with the other dogs and with her family. Koa enjoyed his stay and played well with the other dogs, however….. learned the sad way that hamsters are not toys 😢 Nicole was very kind and understanding and we definitely appreciated all she did for the care of Koa after. Nicole is also has veterinarian experience and it shows! Very comfortable to have her watch Koa again any time!! Thank you so much!! 😊”

“Brenda took wonderful care of our dog, Zelda, during our 4 day trip. Zelda can be a finicky eater and also chews up paper, so leaving her with a caring and attentive Rover really helps us be able to travel with ease. Zelda did great under Brenda's care, and came home happy and healthy. I definitely recommend booking with Brenda and will rebook in the future! Thank you so much!”

“We are so lucky to have found Meagan! She provided tons of pictures and updates and absolutely showered Bear with love. He came home so happy and we had total peace of mind on our trip.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Chico
Robin and her family were very accommodating and flexible with their schedule for pick up and drop off for Mia. We appreciated the daily updates, from the pictures we received it seems like Mia was relaxed and comfortable. She had other pups to play with which is great. Thank you for watching Mia!

Jason & DruAnn are great! This was our second time boarding with them. My dog, Millie, immediately recognized and started playing with their golden. She was right at home. Jason gives updates daily - which is great to see that our dog is doing well and enjoying herself. We will definitely book again in the future! Thank you. 😊

We are so grateful to Dana and her family for taking such great care of Milo. They treated him like part of their own family and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Milo was happy, well cared for, and clearly had a great time. We truly appreciate the love and attention they gave him and would absolutely trust them again!

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
