*check out my Instagram RoverSilverdale* Hello! My name is Amanda. I have 28+ years of experience working and raising animals. My first job was walking the dogs in my neighborhood when I was 11. I worked for several years as a specialist in a pet store and in vet hospitals. I have had horses my entire life and have worked in barns, trained and taught lessons for 15 years up until I had a major car accident. Since then I have been helping in the rescuing and fostering of 25+ dogs and cats, of all shapes and sizes, attitudes and health problem. Between that and raising my own AKC Australian Shepherds I have an extensive back round with dogs and am comfortable with large and small breeds, most temperaments and most health issues/concerns. I am happy to administer medications, including shots. I am also available to watch other pets as well. I am comfortable with farm animals and exotics as I've had or worked with quite a few different animals. I am home full time so I am available Monday-Sunday. I have a large house with a very large fully fenced backyard. There is also about a half an acre within the fence that is fenced in and has 4 10x10 covered dog pens on cement. That area is specially for the dogs and has trees, logs, places for digging, running and a baby pool.

Amanda took amazing care of the girls! I received lots of pictures/videos and daily updates. She was also flexible when it came to us being late because of a flight delay. Highly recommend her!

Our Stevie girl had her 1st sleepover with Amanda and loved it. Amanda was great and shared photos and videos of our fur baby having a ball in her huge backyard. Would 100% recommend Amanda and we plan to use her again for overnight stays and some daytime play dates to keep her from getting bored. Thanks Amanda!!!

My almost 8 month dog Nugget had a great time while Mommy & Daddy were at work... he got to interact with other humans & socialize with other dogs. Amanda has a huge backyard to help release all the doggy energy. Pic of Nugget playing with one of Amanda's dogs.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large house with a very large fully fenced backyard. There is also about a half an acre within the fence that is fenced in and has 4 10x10 covered dog pens on cement. That area is specially for the dogs and has trees, logs, places for digging and a baby pool. We have a large grass area in the rest of the fenced acre and a half which is where all games of ball, frisbee or tugs are played at least once a day. I do have dogs of mine own which are all well mannered and up to date on thier vaccinations, de-worming, heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Pets

A typical day

We live at the end of a 1/4 dirt road which we walk twice a day. I also have the option of taking them on a longer almost mile walk if I turn off our road and down the main neighborhood street. We are also very close to a trail system which we have used several times for dogs that need a little more time to get their energy out. As I said above we have a very large back yard and specialty dog play area with lots of enrichment opportunities. Ball and Frisbee happen daily and we have a baby pool. There are also other dogs to play with if your dog is comfortable with that. When inside there are several large dog beds, along with a few large kennels (with doors open) set up for those that like to hide in their own private space. I always have frozen kongs, bully sticks, raw bones, treats and lots of toys available with permission from the owner. They are also allowed on the couch with me or on the bed if they are clean.

I would like for all dogs to be current on their vaccinations and flea/tick preventative. They will need to have a collar with current tags as well. Also if they are crate trained that is a plus but it isn't required.
