Amazing. Amanda is very obviously a dog lover and it shows in all her interactions with my Pomeranian and all the texts/updates/pictures she sends to us. It was clear that Rory had a wonderful time with Amanda during her stay; it seemed like she didn't even want to leave! Would whole-heartedly recommend Amanda to anyone!!!

Amanda is absolutely amazing. She knows more about dogs than I think my vet does! You can tell she genuinely cares for your pup and she goes out of her way to make sure they are having a good time. She sends pictures and updates, and is incredibly reliable. I don’t know what we would do without her! We will definitely be using Amanda for years to come!(: I almost don’t want to ...

First time leaving Stanley with Amanda. I think he had a great time. He was pooped & fell asleep in car before we got home. He especially loved the kids (sorry about that, Amanda). Will definitely book again.

Hello! My name is Amanda. I have 20+ years of experience working and raising animals. My first job was walking the dogs in my neighborhood when I was 11. I worked for several years as a specialist in a pet store and in vet hospitals. I have had horses my entire life and have worked in barns, trained and taught lessons for 15 years up until I had a major car accident. Since then I ...

What Amanda would like to know about your dog

I would like for all dogs to be current on their vaccinations and flea/tick preventative. They will need to have a collar with current tags as well. Also if they are crate trained that is a plus but it isn't required.

Additional Skills
Oral Medication Administration
First Aid/CPR
Special Needs Dog Experience
Injected Medication Administration
Senior Dog Experience
Can provide daily exercise

About Amanda's Home

When Amanda watches your pet

We live at the end of a 1/4 dirt road which we walk twice a day. I also have the option of taking them on a longer almost mile walk if I turn off our road and down the main neighborhood street. We are also very close to a trail system which we have used several times for dogs that need a little more time to get their energy out.

As I said above we have a very large back yard and specialty dog play area with lots of enrichment opportunities. Ball and Frisbee happen daily and we have a baby pool. There are also other dogs to play with if your dog is comfortable with that.

When inside there are several large dog beds, along with a few large kennels (with doors open) set up for those that like to hide in their own private space. I always have frozen kongs, bully sticks, raw bones, treats and lots of toys available with permission from the owner. They are also allowed on the couch with me or on the bed if they are clean.
