About: With about 18 years of hands on pet care experience, what truly sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and deep understanding of animal behavior. Whether it’s a shy rescue who needs gentle encouragement or a senior cat who needs extra comfort and medication, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. I have loved and cared for animals since the day I was born. I have 5 dogs, a mini horse, and two rabbits. My goal is always to provide a stress-free, trustworthy experience for both pets and their people. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time during the week to take care of your babies when needed. My schedule is very flexible right now. I prefer not to work on the weekends, but if it is needed, I will make it work. In your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I take time to learn their habits—feeding schedules, favorite hiding spots, play routines, and any medical needs—so I can provide care that feels familiar and comforting. I make sure litter boxes are clean, water is always fresh, and your pet gets plenty of attention and affection at their own pace. For shy or senior pets, I move slowly and calmly, always respecting their space and personality.

About: Give me all the dogs, please! I grew up with small dogs and eventually began rescuing my own. (2 big, 3 small currently) It took a lot of training to get mine where they are today, but now we enjoy adventuring, having play dates and watching friends all the time. I left my job as a teacher to spend more time with my pups and I’d be happy to discuss caring for your pets too! Due to volume of requests and space in my home, I am only able to accept new drop in requests at this time. *Rates include drive time from Tryon NC! I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule. If I can't accommodate your needs and or dates, I likely know someone who can help! Safety is #1. I often work with foster and rescue dogs and have extensive experience with dog behavior and interactions. My dogs get along with pretty much any dog, but I am very careful with new interactions and will do what is best for the animal in all situations. I also have a very securely fenced in yard for play if appropriate.

About: You will receive 24/7 care. I provide a continuous care service, ensuring that pets are accompanied at all times. I treat pets as if they were part of my family. I take walks, games and activities that stimulate them physically and mentally. I provide photos and videos at all times while your faithful friend is with me. I can take care of pets preferably in the mornings before 2 and on weekends. Although, I can change my work schedule whenever you need. I prefer to take care of the pets at home, I can bathe them, comb them, feed them and take them for walks, all with more comfort in my home. You will have photos and videos all the time if you prefer.

About: About me: I am a health/wellness professional and have also worked with animals my whole life. I have volunteered and fostered for various dog adoption organizations including GALT, SPCA, MARS, Mega Adoption Event. I am experienced with most dog breeds and dog behavior. I have always been passionate about animals and I treat every dog that I sit as if they were my own. I am very interactive and affectionate with them, and will provide any special care that they need so that they feel comfortable and at ease while you are gone. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy providing the peace of mind for pet owners that they can travel, etc. without worrying about their dog while they are gone. I not only take great care of my dog guests, but I make sure they have a great, stress-free time while their owners are away. Meet my pets: I have a senior xoloitzcuintle (Mexican hairless) dog at home. He's my best friend so we do everything together. He mainly sleeps all day, but enjoys a good home too. I work remotely from home in the wellness industry and have a flexible schedule. I am able to take frequent potty breaks and walks as needed. I keep a very calm, stable environment for my pet guests. I have a lot of nature nearby, so there is plenty to explore whether it's the river front, hiking trails, dog park, or nearby Greenway.

I have the flexibility to visit most times of the day and spoil your pet with attention and any exercise they need! Having cared for animals my entire life- I understand the importance of a trustworthy and loving pet sitter. I am patient and able to help animals that may need extra love. About: I have been taking care of pets for about 5 years and it has been the most rewarding experience of my life to be able to take care of them as if they were mine, rest assured that I respect and love them as if they were my own family, in general we have a lot to learn from our best friends and their pure soul, I like to play with them, spend time walking them and giving them love and attention. For now I have Thursday to Sunday to take care of the pets, it can be in the mornings or afternoons, I will be happy to do it Currently where I live, I have a large front and back yard with a secure fence, pets will have the space and comfort of being outdoors enjoying the sun.

About: I’ve had a cat and a dog and have provided senior care to both. If I care for your fur baby they will be spoiled rotten! I am currently working part time, but plan to be home full-time if I have enough work through Rover. We have two dog parks in the community where I live so your pup will get plenty of walks and playtime. I also have a cat catio for your feline fur baby. I have a large front porch with a doggie door that goes out onto a long side porch that is covered. At the end of the porch there are steps that goes into a fenced in area with Astro turf for your dogs potty needs.

About: I care for animals of all ages. I'm here to give your furry loved one all the attention and cuddles they deserve! My goal is to help pets have so much fun that they don't have time to miss you! I currently work full time but I am free after 2pm for walks and drop-ins. I'm an early riser so I'm available for house sitting all week and super early morning drop-ins. I follow the client's instructions exactly. If I have questions I don't hesitate to ask because it's better to be safe than sorry. Pets can be very particular sometime and I want this to be an awesome experience for everyone!!

About: From a young age, I put nature and the well-being of animals on my list of priorities. I went to school for wildlife rehabilitation and lived in Tanzania where I studied African flora and fauna for six months. Currently, I work as a vet tech where I handle and care for domestic animals throughout the day. To me, every animal is of equal importance and deserves the same amount of respect; regardless of how slimy, fuzzy, or scaley! About: Fourteen years as a Kindergarten teacher and another 8 as an Elementary Art teacher should be a clue as to my patience with Little Ones (puppies) as well as Seniors (in their Golden years) and all the ages in between. I only work full time 6 months, so the other 6 I'm free to do what I love! This allows me to be a full-time pup playmate for your fur baby, not just a side hustle. Your baby is my only focus, as my two "kids" are out of the nest. Unlike the younger Sitters, I have an open schedule and can do long term stays/care if needed. I have FBI G8 Presidential Summit clearance, for peace of mind. I also taught in the Elementary school setting for 20 years. I now teach at an Environmental Education Nature Preserve. I have a Pug mix, so I'm familiar with special diets that are needed for certain breeds and don't mind chopping veggies and fruit and cooking lean meats for their meals. I do this for my pup, and would be happy to offer this service to the discerning canine parents.

About: I've worked on a horse barn for the past 5 years but before that I worked at a doggie daycare. I am comfortable with dogs of any size or tempermant and only want to bring then professional and loving care. I'm currently working part-time so I have all the time to spoil and play with your fur babies at anytime of the day for however long you (and they need). Most of my clients have an electric fence but if the weather is nice I take the pets for a walk. They love that. Some of my clients don't have a fence and I walk their dogs throughout the day at the times of their choosing.

About: In high-school, I took care of neighbors' and high school teachers' animals for 3 years. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, as well as own a 5 year old Mountain Cur who is reactive, so I do know how to handle dogs that do not like other dogs or have certain triggers on walks. I used to work for a vet office in Texas as a kennel technician so I also know the tricks to get dogs to take their medication, and know great ways to exercise your pet physically and mentally with training games. I am currently searching for a job in my gap year before law school, and so with my current schedule, I am available through the week and weekend at any time for your pet sitting needs. While I can stay overnight, I do have my own dog to look after and would like flexibility in leaving for a brief time to check on my dog and run errands. I will follow your needs of the pet and will treat them as if they are my own. I do not have dogs at my house for the safety of all pets since my dog is very dog selective with who she befriends, but I am more than happy to acommodate to you and your pet in your home.
