“Debbie was marvelous! We were a little nervous as our Abbey is a 13 year-old 3-pound chihuahua who is almost blind and Ghirardelli is a 6-pound bouncy poodle. Debbie has four dogs of her own. Two are huge boyzois! No worries-all four of her fur babies were very, very sweet! Debbie cuddled Abbey and our babies slept with her grandson which they absolutely loved!!! We got pics and updates every day. Debbie even waited up for our late flight so that we could get our babies as soon as we got back home. Best puppy B&B ever!!! We will be back, Debbie.”
“I planned to leave my two Cavs with Ann and Jaren while I went to a family birthday party. One of the Cavs is a poster child for the breed. No worries there. The other is a recent adoptee. She lived in a crate for years before she came to live with me. She is velcro who becomes a whirling dervish the instant I move away. Big worries there. I needed not worry at all. When it was time for me to pick them up, things were fine. It was obvious the girls had a good visit with Ann and Jaren and their pups. Highly recommend them.”

About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was really little from them being born to them being seniors. I currently do work in a kennel so I have been with all types of dogs from really sweet puppies to pretty spicy adult dogs even some senior ones. I also have experience with dogs that have to have medication in the morning or are you at night and dog that are deaf and blind. I truly love any dog so it’s very hard for one to scare me away. so because I do work at a dog kennel I have been around dogs as small as 5 pounds all the way up to dogs that are 160 pounds. Monday, Wednesday- Friday I am available after 3pm but Tuesdays, Saturday, & Sunday I am available all day long for walks, house sitting, & I can also offer some grooming services like Bath, Nails, Paw Pads, and Desheds. So I do work at the dog kennel part-time. I’ll mostly be available on the weekends all day Saturday, Sundays, Tuesday. I’ll also be will be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights though So if you would have me over at your place to watch your dogs, I tried to make sure I have a very open communication with my customers. That way they know that what is going on with their dogs that way if there’s any problems, they are notified right away. I do like sending photos out throughout the day. About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. I’ll also be will be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights though So if you would have me over at your place to watch your dogs, I tried to make sure I have a very open communication with my customers. That way they know that what is going on with their dogs that way if there’s any problems, they are notified right away. I do like sending photos out throughout the day. That way you get to see them enjoying their time playing around that way you know what they’re up to in their day.
About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Kashmir, my Redbone Coonhound puppy who loves other dogs!
About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
About: I have taken care of everything you can think of, it began when I was 9 years old. My family moved on a horse farm, where we took care of 13 horses everyday. After that my family ran a dog kennel with a capacity of 65 dogs, did that for about 4 years. I decided to branch out and start working for myself. I have pet sat for some years now during that, I have cared for live stock, birds, turtles, fish. I currently work weekends, between 8am-2pm. Unfortunately animals don’t talk so I got a part time job to get out of the house and socialize. I have a fenced in year, plenty of toys, a couple crates, definitely lots of bowls. Some dog beds, along with some blankets. Anything your animal may want I try to have. Of course bring anything that you think would help your doggie adjust.
