“Samantha did a wonderful job with our two large dogs (bernadoodle & goldendoodle). She communicated well and provided pictures with each visit. The boys really enjoyed their time with her! We will be sure to book her again in the future!”

“Tidarat was professional, paid attention to details about my two dogs. They were super calm and liked her right away when she came in the first time. Tid was very sweet and polite. She sent reports on each outing and pictures of my doggies on their walk. I will call her again when I need doggie sitting. It gave me peace of mind while I went away for a couple of days, much needed break. Thank you Tid!”

“Mikayla is really good with walking my dog and is always diligent with making sure to take pictures and record how many times my dog takes potty breaks. I really appreciate how she is flexible with scheduling too. She also met up with me before I started scheduling with her on a short notice. I'm really happy to have somebody who is really good with dogs. My dog always seems happy when she is getting walked. I highly recommend her.”

About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I'm knowledgeable in seniors, puppies and mid aged dogs. I have 2 dogs a great Pyrenees mix who is 15 and a sheltie who is 4! I am capable with all types and sizes of dogs. I work part-time at Publix so my hours each week will be a little different but I get my schedule 2 weeks in advance. I have walked dogs since I was about 8 years old and I have been dog sitting since i was about 10. I'm currently part time at Publix! I get my schedule 2 weeks in advance or if so I can take a few days off to watch your pup! I work different times each day but I can always work around my work schedule. I have a fenced yard, Big running area for your pup. I have 2 friendly dogs no other pets. They are non-crated dog they sleep with us at night. If needed I can crate your dog no issue.

About: I own 3 dogs, a Dane, a Doodle, and a Retriever; who I love dearly! I have also volunteered and fostered many dogs through Lifeline. I am comfortable with any dog from puppies to giant lap dogs or pitbulls to labs (maybe skip chihuahuas). I’m currently a stay at home working mom. I teach online and can make my own schedule. I am home everyday and when I’m not working I’m caring for my son. I wanted to add an additional side hustle that I could bring him with me. We already go on walks together so why not bring someone else’s dog with us and make a couple extra bucks? Any money I make from this is just going into his college fund :) I’m happy to come over and let your dogs out during the afternoons when you’re at work. When I worked full time in person I had someone come over mid day, each day, to let my dogs out in the backyard and play with them for 30 minutes. If you’re looking for your pup to be taken on a short walk, I can do that too!
About: Recent empty nester- let me love on your babies! I love both cats and dogs equally. Currently only offering 'in your home' house/dog sitting, drop-ins and walks. I work full-full time, M-F 7am-4:30pm. I enjoy running and also hiking the various mountains around the North Georgia area, but also love to curl up on the couch and watch TV for hours at a time. Whatever amount of activity your pet may need I am able to provide it. I have been a [people] nurse for 20+ years, giving me the confidence to take care of daily medication and/or exercises that may be needed for your pet. Please check out my reviews and allow me the opportunity to provide excellent care to your loved ones while you are away! Available weekends only for walks and drop-ins. House sitting can be arranged for extended periods, but please note that I do work away from home 40+ hours a week M-F. I do not care for pets within my home any longer but would love for you to trust me to come into your pets home and provide the level of love and care that you give them when you are home. Each pet has different needs and I try to quickly figure out how much attention and care they need to not feel sad that you are not home.
About: Ever since I was a baby my household has had more than one dog at a time. I have taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I have never professionally taken care of other dogs but have had much experience with taking care of my own. I can handle taking care of multiple dogs at once (at some point in my household we had 6 dogs at once). With me, you'll never have to worry about your animals because I'll take care of them and give them as much love as I give mine. I am currently a student and I am also working a part-time job; however, I can be very flexible with scheduling and will do whatever it takes to meet your needs as well as your fur babies!

About: I've spent years caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and hamsters. Over the years, my family has owned multiple pets including bunnies, cats, and dogs from black labs to havanese. Those experiences have taught me how to understand different personalities, routines, and care needs while giving each pet the individual attention they deserve. I'm patient, dependable, attentive, and flexible, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know every animal I meet. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'll care for them with the same kindness and dedication I would give my own pets. I am available everyday from 7 in the morning until 8 in the evening up to 3 visits a day with 2 outside breaks and 1 longer walk. For bunnies and cats, play sessions and exercise as needed. I will follow your pets routine, providing plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while making sure they always feel safe and comfortable. I like to arrange a meeting prior to the first day of sitting to get aquatinted with your pet in its space. My three years of experience as a camp leader and coach have taught me to be responsible, patient, attentive, and adaptable.
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with two dogs and have spent years caring for pets for my sister, mom, friends, and their friends whenever they need a reliable sitter. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a consistent routine, I’m committed to providing the same love and attention I would give my own pets! I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree and am highly organized, responsible, and dependable. I also live a very active lifestyle and love being outdoors, so I genuinely enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and helping them stay active and happy. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and reliable experience for every dog in my care. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh water, are fed according to their schedule, get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and receive any special care instructions provided by the owner. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being to ensure they’re happy and healthy. When caring for a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I keep things clean and tidy, follow all house instructions, lock doors and secure the property, and make sure pets are safe and comfortable at all times. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I recently lost my dog of 10 years in March 2026, and I would love to share my love with other lovely fur babies! As a social worker, I know how to care for others, and understand the importance of animals as part of our family and mental well-being, and I treat them as such. I have experience watching all types of pets and experiences with pets who are diabetic or have special medical needs. I'm currently working a flexible job where I am virtual and only come in person a few hours a week. So I can stay the night at your house, or in my own home based on your preference. My flexible schedule makes it easy for me to prioritize your pet when needed. I am open to staying at your house overnight, but I can also stay at my own home based on your preference. I have cared for pets living in a house with a yard and without as well as in an apartment in the city. I know that these environments can make pet care different, so I make sure to keep to scheduled walks, potty breaks, playtime, and outside times consistentently.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember — since I was under ten, I’ve been helping neighbors with their pets and have grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, from rodents and lizards to ferrets, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. I bring that lifetime of experience, patience, and genuine love to every pet I care for. What sets me apart is that I don’t just provide basic care — I make sure each animal feels safe, happy, and loved, treating them like a member of my own family. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just cuddles, I aim to give every pet the attention and care they deserve. I currently teach special education, with work hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. This schedule gives me the perfect opportunity to care for your pets either before I head to work or right after I return home. I also have my summers completely open, making me available for vacations, daily care, or extended pet sitting during that time. I’m happy to provide consistent, reliable, and loving care tailored to each animal’s needs. I offer boarding in my home, where your pets will get plenty of love, attention, and playtime while you’re away. I also provide walks and daily check-ins at your home to make sure your pets get exercise, companionship, and care on a schedule that works for them. While I don’t offer overnight stays in clients’ homes, I’m dedicated to making every pet feel safe, happy, and loved.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
