“This was my first Rover experience plus my dog’s first daycare experience and I was so nervous at first. Heather and her family took the absolute BEST care of my little guy! Multiple walks a day, slow & controlled introductions to new dogs, off leash freedom in their backyard wonderland and plenty of pictures and updates throughout! Thank you so so much! I’d absolutely recommend Heather to anyone needing a family that truly cares and puts extra importance on your dogs safety and comfort level.”

About: My name is Christina and I'm 36 years old. There hasn't been a time in my life that I haven't had dogs. I live with my husband and we have two dogs. We have a fenced in yard and tons of toys and frisbees. From June-August, I am home all day (I'm a teacher). My dogs love to make friends big and small and they know all the best places for runs and walks. We live in the Mulberry Park subdivision and walk the trails all the time and put our paws/feet in the river. I love to teach dogs tricks and would love to keep your dog or dogs entertained so you can relax while you're away from them. Thank you for considering me to watch after your pups. - Christina I can try to work with your schedule as much as possible. I work until 3:15 so I have some availability during the months I am teaching (August-May). I have a fenced in yard and will supervise play time and meal time. I’ll make sure they have plenty of water and and potty breaks.
“I am so appreciative of Adrianne for helping me out at the last minute. I was in from out of town and needed day of daycare for my separation anxiety dog and she was kind and welcoming. I would absolutely leave my dog with her again!”

About: With over 13 years of experience, I provide a safe, adaptive, and nurturing environment for pets of all ages and energy levels. For senior, shy, and low-energy pets, I offer gentle, slower-paced routines. For puppies and high-energy pets, I provide the engagement and play they need to stay happy. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take pride in adapting to their specific needs. Whether they need long nature walks, cuddles, or simply some alone time, they will receive exactly that. To ensure your complete peace of mind while away, I will also provide frequent photo and video updates! As a university student with in-person classes only twice a week, I have a highly flexible schedule. I'm available almost any day of the week for boarding and dog/cat sitting. While my weekly schedule changes based on my studies and schoolwork, any pet care can be placed between them all. If there is a day or time you need me to be available that is not on my availability, I am always happy to negotiate! In my home, I adapt the pets' schedule to the way my home is. I have plenty of roaming space inside, but also outside for pets (leashed) that enjoy being outside and exploring. If your dog is crate-trained and needs to be in theirs, I can easily crate them. I also have 4 friendly cats that can keep your pet company, but if your pet does not like other animals, I also have the layout to keep them safely separated. In my client's home, I simply follow the schedule and rules they have for their pets. If you still feel unsure or your pet needs specific accommodation, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I would like your pet to experience only the highest quality stay/care!
About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
About: As lifelong dog lovers, we know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pets in someone else’s care. We had two sweet dogs of our own for 14 and 12 years, and they were truly part of our family. Spoiled , loved, and very well cared for. We understand that every dog deserves patience, attention, safety, and lots of love while their owners are away. Your pup will be welcomed into our home like one of our own, with plenty of care, affection, and a comfortable environment to help them feel safe and happy. Pet care naturally fits into our daily routine because we genuinely enjoy having dogs around and caring for them. We’re home every day and used to structuring our days around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and giving dogs plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. Our home is calm, safe, and pet-friendly, and we understand the importance of consistency and routine for dogs while their owners are away. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I do my best to keep things consistent and stress-free for them while their owners are away. In my home, pets will have a calm, clean, and welcoming environment with plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll respect their space while making sure their pets stay comfortable in their familiar routine and environment. My goal is always to care for every pet as if they were my own.

About: I’ve always had some kind of pet since I can remember whether that was a fish, frog, shrimp, rabbit, cat, or dog! I LOVE ANIMALS! I am that person at a family gathering/ party hanging out with the pet - not the people! ☺️ I currently have a 14 year old “lab/retriever” (I think part Rottweiler somewhere down the line) that I got from the humane society when she was a puppy - she’s the best part of every day! I’ve taken care of my aunts boxer while she has been out of town (during her heat cycle once) and my other aunts Beta fish! I appreciate the opportunity to take care of the best part of your day! 😊 I am currently working from home and starting my own business Capriluna🌙! I take care of my dog daily so I understand the need of pet care! My dog stays inside and is fed 3 times/day. She is a senior so potty breaks are frequent. She currently is not on any medication but does take joint care medicine daily. When watching my aunts boxer she is fed twice daily and a good bit younger, so her potty breaks are not as often. During her heat cycle, she remained in diapers (obviously except for potty breaks and outside time). Any pets that stay will receive the same amount of care/attention as my own dog. My dog is NOT a social dog and has been alone her whole life and out of respect for her space and comfort, all guest dogs staying over will stay in my office (NEVER in the same area as my dog). They will have separate potty breaks, walks, feeding, attention, etc. Her care and comfort is priority to me and I hope you as pet owners can understand this. Also, crates will need to be provided by the owner for overnight stays (until I can afford to buy one for my clients).
About: I am a 39 year old man with a remote job so I'm home all day. I have always had a dog in my house since I was a small child. I have trained my own puppies and also taken care of friends' and families' pets for years. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a neutered 1 year old Australian shepherd to play with your dog. Tambien hablo español si prefieres! I work from home so can take dogs out as often as necessary. For adult dogs, I usually let them out into my yard at least 5 times a day, or more if they need to go out or if it is a puppy or older dog. If the dog is in good health, we will go on at least one long walk in the neighborhood in the afternoon as well per day as well as playing with my dog in my yard. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a quiet neighborhood. We have a magnetic screen door so, once we make sure the dogs know how to open it, we let the dogs come in and out all day (weather permitting). My puppy would love to play with your dog all day in our yard and go for daily walks in our neighborhood. I'm happy to send daily photos/updates as you prefer.

About: 🐾 Hi, I'm Brianna! I know they're more than just animals they're family, and they deserve compassionate, reliable care while you're away. I bring over 4+ years of hands on experience working in an animal hospital, along with a Veterinary Technology degree from Gwinnett Technical College. My professional background has given me experience caring for pets of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, monitoring for signs of illness, and helping anxious pets feel safe and comfortable. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for exotic animals, so if your family includes rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, birds, or other small pets, you can feel confident they're in knowledgeable hands. Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to provide individualized care tailored to their needs. Whether it's long walks, playtime, enrichment, feeding, medication, or plenty of cuddles, I'll treat your pets with the same love and attention I would my own. You'll always stay connected while you're away with regular updates, photos, and videos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. My goal is to build lasting relationships with both pets and their families by providing dependable, professional, and loving care every visit. I look forward to meeting you and becoming your pet's new favorite sitter! 🐶🐱🐰🦜🦎❤️ I work part-time night shifts, which gives me flexibility during the day to care for pets. My schedule allows me to provide morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I carefully plan around my work hours to ensure every pet receives dependable, consistent care. I always prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine and will communicate clearly about my availability so you know exactly what to expect. Whether your pet is staying in my home for boarding or doggy daycare, or I'm visiting them for drop-in visits or walks, my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and favorite activities. For boarding and daycare, I provide a clean, safe, low stress environment with plenty of supervised play, enrichment, rest, and one on one attention. During drop in visits and walks, I make sure pets get the care, exercise, companionship, and routine they're used to while you're away
About: I’m a lifelong schnauzer lover, and after losing both of my beloved furbabies within the last three years, my home just hasn’t felt the same. I miss the snuggles, the walks, and that joyful energy they brought to every day. Caring for other pets allows me to share that love again and give your pup the same warmth, patience, and attention I once gave my own. I truly understand the comfort and companionship pets bring, and I take pride in creating a safe, affectionate environment where every furry friend feels at home. Lots of love, gentle care, and happy hearts guaranteed. 💕🐾 I run a small design agency part-time and work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. My schedule naturally revolves around school pickup, homework time, and my kids’ soccer practices— at a dog-friendly park! That means there’s plenty of room in our routine for walks, playtime, and snuggles. Your pet will get consistent attention and care woven right into our daily rhythm, not just “checked in on.” Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether they’re with us or I’m visiting your home, I make sure they feel loved, secure, and part of the family. Walks are always on-leash, routines are followed closely, and I’m big on cuddles and communication. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. 🐾

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I offer a level of intuition and patience that only comes from decades of care. I am uniquely qualified to handle "high-touch" pets; I currently share my home with three dogs, including one who is blind. This personal experience means I am expertly attuned to the specific safety needs, verbal cueing, and environmental consistency required for vision-impaired or special-needs pets. I provide a calm, steady presence. Having managed my own multi-pet household for two decades, I am deeply familiar with complex feeding schedules, medication administration, and the subtle behavioral shifts that signal a pet needs extra comfort or attention. My pet care routine is built on a seamless "team approach" with my husband. Because I work a teacher’s schedule at the school right across the street, I am home by mid-afternoon and have all holidays, breaks, and full weekends dedicated to your pets. During my school hours, my husband works from home full-time, ensuring your pets are never left alone and receive consistent companionship, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. This setup allows us to provide a stable, supervised environment where your pet’s routine, whether it’s a midday walk or specific feeding time, never misses a beat. Your pets are treated like members of the family in our home. We have a large, fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and socialize together under constant supervision. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a quiet sniff in the grass, there is plenty of room for everyone to burn off energy. To ensure a stress-free stay, we maintain a structured environment: Crate Training: My three resident dogs are fully crate-trained, which helps maintain a calm household. Flexible Sleeping & Breaks: I have spare crates available for visiting pets, or you are more than welcome to bring your own from home to keep your pet’s routine consistent. Safe Introductions: With over 20 years of experience, I carefully manage introductions to ensure all dogs are comfortable and compatible before group play.
“Sandy was great this was first time for my little one to stay with someone definitely will use her again. I felt comfortable leaving her there I knew she would take great care of my Lacey.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Chestnut Mountain commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
