“This was my first time working with Rover, and with Grace R. Both were extremely positive experiences! Grace came by my condo a few days prior to my leaving. She met my two cats and got a feel for my condo. After that, I felt confident she would do a great job - and she did. She reported in daily with pix. And even brought in a couple of packages for me! When I got home, the condo, boxes, cat dishes, and water were all in perfect order. I will definitely book with Grace R. again!”

“Alexis was awesome and kept my Cali company while I had to be away. Cali sure is enjoying the toy Alexis gave her. I will be sure to use Alexis anytime I need assistance with Cali.”

“Madison did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She is kind, respectful, responsive and responsible! She sent pictures and updates and even brought in our packages. My cats were well taken care of and the litter box was obviously thoroughly cleaned each time.”

“Hannah helped us out on Christmas evening when we were going to be away from our house for 12 hrs. We so appreciated the extra mile Hannah went to come a week before Christmas to meet our dogs and speak with us personally so we would feel comfortable leaving our two greyhounds in her care for a bit. She communicate well and responded in a timely manner when we first were setting up the visit with her. We will definitely use Hannah again and absolutely recommend her services! Thanks again Hannah, you helped make our Christmas less stressful!”
About: I grew up taking care of two large dogs and currently have a cat of my own. I'm expirience in pet care and would love to help out any pet that needs looking after. I am currently enrolled in college and only have class Tuesday and Thursday for around three hours. This will allow me to spend most of my day walking, feeding, and playing with your pet! I do not have a yard, but I have a dog leash, dog create, and two cat creates. I can walk your dog multiple times a day if requested. I can create your dog, cat, or my cat if requested as well. I have a three room apartment for your animal to roam in, so they won't be crammed. All animals are welcome to behave as needed for them to feel comfortable; including being on furniture, barking, and playing.
“Melanie went out of her way to come meet Olivia and us before her time to dog sit. She was flexible, communicated very well and did an excellent job. This was our first time to use Rover and we are hooked! Thank you!”

About: I have owned pets most of my life and enjoy spending time with them. I lost my elderly dogs this year after 14 years with them. At this point, I have not decided if I will own another pet again in the near future so I would love to spend some time with yours! I work during the day but live close and could come home for mid day walks if I am boarding. Or I can do short ins during the day. Otherwise, I am home in the evenings and weekends. I do live in a pet friendly community and enjoy taking long walks. I especially love playful pets with lots of energy! I have experience with mostly small and medium sized dogs. I have also had cats in the past and would consider boarding them or doing check ins.
About: I have experiences with different breeds of dogs from Lhasa Apso to Great Danes! I’ve been trusted to watch and feed dogs for my neighbors, family friends, etc. for over 5 years and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t absolutely adore. I am currently working at Johnson & Johnson in Warsaw but travel home on the weekends and would love to help watch your fur babies! I’m solely doing visits to client’s homes. I am a detail oriented person and will gain the trust of your pet before anything to ensure that they are comfortable with me being around. I will follow any directions given to me and will be transparent with any questions/concerns I may have about your pet.
“Jen is top quality dog care. She puts her heart and soul into your pet. Prezi loves her. I highly recommend Jen. I couldn't ask for a better person to take care of my baby girl. Thank you for being so good Jen”

About: I have had extensive experience within the environment of animal care. I have been involved in places that include animal shelters and even animal hospitals, and strive to put forth my best care that involves your fur babies! Afternoons/evenings work best for my schedule, but I can always work around yours to fit your needs the best! Right now, my schedule is very flexible! Even though I do not offer the option of boarding, I will strive to make your pet's safety my number one priority when I am walking them!
“Chyanne was absolutely fantastic! She was always on time, kept us updated with pictures, and went above and beyond by even bringing our trash can back up after trash day while we were out of town. She truly treated our pets like her own, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such great hands. I think our pets already miss her! Highly recommend!”

“Cole is an incredible and responsible dog sitter that I can trust my pets with. My dogs are very nervous and need some time to adjust to people, especially men, but Cole has went the extra mile to make sure my dogs feel happy and are properly cared for when I can’t be there. He is always quick to respond, easy to work with, and gentle with all my animals. You can tell he truly loves animals and and he has been nothing but kind and professional. If you feel nervous about getting a pet sitter, I would definitely consider contacting Cole for your needs. Thank you Cole for being so good to my Rudy, Po and Beano!”

Madison did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She is kind, respectful, responsive and responsible! She sent pictures and updates and even brought in our packages. My cats were well taken care of and the litter box was obviously thoroughly cleaned each time.

Vanessa was amazing with Ellie! She made sure she had good walks and took time to play ball with her. Vanessa is very friendly, professional, and responsive. She took the time to meet her beforehand to make sure Ellie was comfortable. We enjoyed reading about Ellie’s time with Vanessa and loved seeing our fur baby in some pictures! This was our first time leaving her in the care of another in our home and Ellie seemed happier and more comfortable than boarding or being left with family members. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
