“Laylani came to us at a very difficult time. We had taken in a kitten unexpectedly that was very, very ill. We had a trip scheduled that we could not cancel, and the kitten needed daily feedings and medications. Laylani came every day at the same time to administer the medications and feed her. We are happy to say that the kitten is well on her way to being completely recovered. This would not have possible without her hard work. I gave her five stars because that's all the system allows, but there's not enough stars in heavens to show how much we appreciated the work that she did. About: I enjoy having dogs, and started using this website when I went out of town. Because of this, I know the high standard of care I expect from my sitter, and what you should expect too. I will take the time and care you would for your own dog. I'll give them snuggles, playtime, and lots of outside time depending on the crazy weather we have here of course. Myself and my doggy friends love to take walks, play tug-of-war, fetch and other games your dog enjoys or might enjoy. If your dog comes to our house we have a fully enclosed backyard. It is a great big yard enough to play fetch with a few dogs at the same time. Some just like to sun bathe and watch everyone else run around. Your dogs will have so much fun, and will be well loved while they are here. When my doggie friends come back for a visit the owners tell me the dogs are excited when they turn down my street. I have a Yorkie named Jack, and 3 mini Bernedoodles named Elenor, Dahlia, and Franklin. I am not taking unneutered or unspayed dogs at this time. I have lots of available hours to spend with your pets. My schedule is consistent usually, but fairly open. In the past, I was walking dogs. Not sure if I am going to start doing that or not. I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs to keep your dog company. We can play in the yard or hang out in the house. I have lots of toys and balls.

About: I grew up in a multi pet home and learned to walk, train and groom pets from a young age. I cared for the last family dog through her medically tedious senior years. Through college I pet sat and walked for friends and family. For 2 years I worked for a veterinary clinic, although my job was marketing I often was asked to assist with holding and monitoring patients. When I became a pet owner I adopted puppies raising them through potty and crate training. I am proud to say they continue to be healthy and happy. Now we foster and pet sit dogs of all ages and sizes because of the dog friendly environment we’ve created at home. My success in pet lies with gaining the pets trust. I approach them slowly and go at their pace, sitting and waiting on the ground if necessary. I am pet sitting and walking full time so I have plenty of time to dedicate to my clients! Dogs are typically walked and out between 7am and 9pm. I have a fully fenced yard with ample room for running and playing. There are four resident dogs who are friendly and used to guests. We can crate your pup or have them sleep in a bed or in bed with me. Water is available at all times through a 2 gallon water dispenser.

About: Got a cavalier when kids left 20 years ago and have been in love with and taken care of pups for family and friends ever since! I work part time as a sub at a local school lunchroom. Consequently, I have a good deal of time to do what I enjoy most, spending time with and caring for pups!! (and on occasion, cats!) I live in a lovely neighborhood with a nice balance of open space and paths for walks. About: I've taken care of family pets (cats and dogs) for 15+ years now, and on my own I a have two cats. My schedule is flexible, though my apartment does not allow for dogs and I prefer to pets sit at the pet's home, where they are most comfortable and familiar. I do not have experience caring for pets with serious medical conditions, but I have given dogs their medication on previous jobs. I am currently only available on weekends, though as I transition out of teaching my schedule will open up. I am available for any emergencies over the holidays. My apartment does not allow for dogs, and would prefer not to test how my cats would respond to other animals as it has been just them in my apartment for a few years now. I also believe that it's best to sit for apet in their own home where I am the only thing they have to adjust to. I am fastidious about following owner directions. My cats are fairly low-maintenance, but I also have experience with high-energy dogs like boxers, and pet size does not matter.

I worked as kennel staff at an animal hospital for over a year before I moved to Nevada, and then I worked at both and animal hospital and a grooming salon during the two years I lived there! (I have since returned to Northwest Indiana!) I took care of both cats and dogs(of all breeds and disabilities) and helped medicate and treat them! “April was amazing with Korra! She had such a fun time and was clearly so loved during her stay. We got pictures and updates everyday. Again, could clearly see how much fun she was having! This was Korra first 4th of July as well, so we weren’t sure how she was going to react to the fireworks. April did an amazing job at letting us know what she had planned and how she was going to create a safe and calm environment for the dogs. We got pictures and updates on how she was doing/did. I am so glad Korra spent her first fireworks season with April. She was so well cared for. I could not recommend April more. She has so much love and care for her own dogs that she shares with other dogs. Korra is so happy to be apart of Petey’s and Shawna’s friend group!”

About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
“I was very excited to find Mila. We had decided to make an extended vacation stay in New Buffalo, MI and found that the hotel would not accept our dog. Using Rover, we found Mila 10 miles away and boarded our pup with her. She sent pics of Sascha on walks and chilling out- it was perfect. Will definitely hook up again next time we are in MI.
