About: I have been an animal lover and pet owner my entire life. Over the years, I have been a pet parent (or pet grandparent!) to fish, birds, mice, rats, and even ferrets! As the current owner of one rotten Border Collie and six spoiled cats, my pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I understand the importance of keeping your pets safe, comfortable, and stress free when you can’t be there. I would love the opportunity to give your fur babies the love and care they need, and deserve, in your absence. I am currently a stay-at-home wife and the mom of one grown and flown daughter with plenty of time available to take care of you, and your fur baby’s, needs. As a trusted person in your home, careful attention detail and leaving things as they found them is of utmost importance to me! I want you and your fur babies to be comfortable and secure in the fact that I will care for them in a way you would, and carefully follow any care instructions given to ensure their safety, and your peace of mind.

“Rebecca gave our two pups walks rain or shine while we were gone on vacation for 10 days. Great communication and she was able to make friends with our little mini golden doodle who barks at everyone! Would definitely consider using Rebecca again in the future!”

“As a federal employee, I recently started going back into the office every day, a big transition from my previous one day/week schedule. One of the stressors was finding quick help so my dog wouldn't be stuck inside for the extremely long days - Kayda to the rescue! Kayda has been reliable, flexible, and very kind; she stops by to take my little old guy for an afternoon walk. I appreciate her help so much and would definitely recommend her!”

About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

About: Hi, I’m Kellie! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for furry companions of all kinds. As a dedicated pet parent and experienced caregiver, I understand just how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet is high-energy, laid-back, or needs a little extra TLC, they’ll be in good hands with me. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to providing a calm, comfortable environment and personalized attention. Whether you need daily drop-ins or dog walks, I’m here to make sure your pets feel loved, secure, and right at home. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet you and your four-legged family member! I work from home so I am available any time. My 8 year old Shih-Poo, Harley, is my baby and I am fortunate enough to be able to spend most of my day with her. I have a fenced back yard and pet friendly home. My Shih-Poo is good with other dogs and loves to run and play. I live in a pet friendly community with plenty of community walking paths. I will follow your instructions and wishes to the letter.

About: Currently a Vet Assistant. I have become familiar with the body language of dogs and cats of all sizes. Coworkers have relied on me to spend time with their own pets for as little as a few hours to a few days. I always do my best to make sure your pets are as comfortable as I care for them. I have plenty of time on Saturdays and Sundays to play with, watch, or walk your pets as you need. Whether you need me to stop in or have an extended visit! I will maintain open communication and send pictures with how your pets is doing. I will always check to see if there are any hazards before leaving and follow instructions for your pets that you might have.

About: As a work-from-home father, my flexible schedule accommodates needy pups or cats requiring frequent visits or overnight care. I currently have 2 small dogs and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. If you live in this area, I'm here for you! I also run (slowly) so if you have a dog that wants to run off energy for a few miles, I'm in! I work from home with minimal meetings (about 5 hours/week.) so I can make frequent visits during the day or even take my computer over to your place if you have good wi-fi! I have a fenced-in backyard of about 3/4 an acre. My two small dogs are friendly and we are glad to introduce them if this interests you and your dog. Our dogs have free run of the house and sleep on the bed.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly my passion. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a wise senior dog, or any furry (or feathered!) friend in between, I provide gentle, attentive care tailored to their needs. I’m experienced in supporting elder dogs with patience and compassion, as well as giving puppies the energy, training, and affection they need to thrive. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with love, comfort, and plenty of tail wags. With a flexible part-time schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. I’m available throughout the week for drop-ins, walks, playtime, and cuddles—whether it’s a quick midday visit or multiple check-ins a day. Your pet’s comfort and routine come first, and I’m happy to work around their needs to make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away. In my home, pets are treated like family—they’ll have a safe, clean, and comfortable space with plenty of love, playtime, and snuggles. I make sure they have fresh food, water, and a cozy place to rest, as well as regular potty breaks or litter box cleanings. In a client’s home, I follow their established routines so pets feel secure and stress-free, keeping their feeding, exercise, and cuddle schedules just as you would. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that’s energetic play, gentle walks, or quiet companionship.

“Dianne was great from first meeting. Cosmo fell in love with her allowing belly rubs and play time. Dian sent me the cutest videos too. He was so tired and had a smile on his face. I will continue to have her take care of him and highly recommend her!!”

About: I have had the honor of having dogs my entire life. Recently, helped my daughter potty training her last to rescue puppies. They have become protectors of my grandchildren. Pam W.
“Pam sat for us a couple of years ago while we were away on holiday. Communication before her arrival was excellent and she kept me up to date at all stages pre-arrival. Once Pam arrived, she was really lovely and a pleasure to get to know before we left. She cared for our 4 x cats really well. Three fairly senior cats with mixed medicine and dietary requirements. Pam took all of this in her stride and took time to get to know them and their routine before we left the following day. We received regular updates from Pam while we were gone and returned to 4 very relaxed cats and a lovely clean house (even cleaner than when we left)! Pam is a treasure and if you are lucky enough to have her sit for you, rest easy, your pets and home will be in excellent hands. I am very happy to recommend Pam and look forward to seeing her again in the future.”
