My animals are very well behaved and love playing with other animals. About my yard I have 110 acres. Very quiet and wooded. Plenty of room to play fetch or play with my dogs. I’m currently working at a Pet Spa Monday through Friday from 8am-3pm. That makes me available in the afternoons for dog walks, exercise, and cuddles as well as on the weekends. When I care for your furry friend in your home I’m running off the schedule you’ve already created for your animal/s! Meals and walks are on time and short potty breaks or treats given as needed/wanted. LOTS of pics are guaranteed with your approval, so you don’t miss any of those awe- striking moments! I’m also an avid hiker so if your pups love an adventure they can tag along with me. Or maybe your pup loves a good long car ride to the dog park and I can deliver on that too! All in all communication will be key for you, your pet/s and I to be satisfied with the level of care and I’ll do my best to keep open communication.

About: With a lifelong love of animals and hands-on experience caring dozens of different species — including dogs, wolf hybrids, foxes, and even African servals — I bring calm, capable care to every walk. I’ve worked in both animal care and public service, and I’m great at reading behavior, building trust, and creating a safe, happy experience for pets and their people. I currently have two dogs of my own and know how important it is to find someone you can count on. Whether your pup is shy, high-energy, or somewhere in between, I’m here to help. Since I make my own hours, my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine — whether that’s early mornings, midday walks, or evening cuddles. I don’t currently host pets in my home due to shared fencing and other resident dogs on the property. I’m happy to come to your home for drop-ins and walks - and I especially enjoy picking up pets for trail walks and little day trips when possible. Your dog gets fresh air, exercise, and a change of scenery, and I make sure they’re safe, happy, and returned home tired and content.

Judy K.Star Sitter

“Professional, easy to book and chat with. Thank you Judy!”

Piper A.

“Piper watched my 8 year old Papillon, Bailey, while I went to Hawaii on vacation. She was a very loving and kind pet sitter. I know this because when I ask him if he wants to go to Piper’s, he gets all excited and runs to the car. She took Bailey for walks, held him when it was thundering, and spent time brushing his fur. I would highly recommend Piper for anyone who needs a reliable and caring pet sitter. ”

Charis O.

Dewey S.
“Dewey is an incredibly friendly and reliable pet sitter! His love for animals is undeniable, and I highly recommend him to care for your furry friend. With extensive experience handling pets of all kinds and temperaments, Dewey is well-prepared for any situation. You can trust him to provide attentive and compassionate care!”

Amelia S.
“Amelia has a soft spot for cats as she grew up with two cats, Tippy and Prrl. She has plenty of experience with dogs as well and, in fact, has cared multiple times for my quite difficult dog, Boomer. Boomer is a Staffordshire terrier mix who is very particular about who he lets into his inner circle. However, he connected with Amelia almost immediately. He has a history of aggression towards humans and dogs, and displays aggression toward cats as well. With that being said, Amelia has been very mindful of these tendencies while caring for Boomer and I’ve never doubted her competency in navigating his challenging behaviors. Amelia is a compassionate person with a genuine love of animals and I am confident your pets will love her and you will feel secure in her responsible nature and friendly personality.”

Katirna J.

“Katirna was a lifesaver when we needed a walker while visiting Blue Ridge for a wedding. She was so sweet and patient with our senior dog to the point where she took him out twice just to accommodate his slow walking. We highly recommend her to anyone living or visiting this area!”

Charity C.
“As one of Charity’s close friends I’ve seen her interact with animals numerous times. It’s blatantly obvious that she is a lover and protector of all furry friends! I would trust her to care for my own pup in a heartbeat. She is patient, understanding, kind, and very responsible. Animals love her and any pet would consider themselves lucky to be connected to her leash!”
