Highly-rated overnight sitters - Cherry Log
“I ended up reaching out to Maggie for a day of boarding. We were traveling in her area, and I asked if she’d take care of my pup for a few hours while we went out for my birthday dinner. Sadly, we had a last minute emergency and didn’t end up using her services. That being said, she was very kind, communicative, and flexible. I appreciated the interaction immensely, and I would reach out again in a heartbeat if we lived in the area!”

“Ollie had a wonderful stay and Julie was incredibly accommodating with our trip being extended! Beautiful, clean property! We will definitely book again! Thank you!”

“We were on vacation with our dogs and needed an overnight sitter. Erin was great. She made us feel like we were leaving them in a very safe place where they would get the attention that they needed and deserved. It was fun to get pictures from Erin to show that the girls were comfortable and safe.I would recommend Erin 1000%.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Lena provides for my dog. From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely loves dogs and takes her responsibilities seriously. I received regular updates, including photos and messages, which gives me peace of mind knowing my Lucy is in great hands. If you're looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate, I highly recommend Lena.”

“Max had a great time at Pats place. Her place is very organized and she made sure Max was comfortable with meet and greets of the other dogs that would be with him during his stay. We were coming in from out of town and her communication always prompt and friendly. I highly recommend Pat and would use her again if ever back in that area.”

“Ashley is wonderful! She took excellent care of my 3 year old dog! She sent me detailed updates about him each day, as well as, videos & pictures of him. She made sure that he got lots of exercise, took him on long walks & played with him. He was so happy staying with her. She went over & above!”

“Just wanted to get on here and say I highly recommend Reyna and her husband, our story is a bit different, you see we have, my husband and I , a cane corso mix with pit male dog Moses. . He’s my baby and my what our kids call my empty nester dog lol. He follows me everywhere and he’s the biggest cuddle bug, he sleeps at my feet you get the point…he’s my baby. So when we decided to take our adult kids and grandkids to Tybee Island for the week, we started looking at where to board him since he’s never been on a trip that far away and the house we had rented had a policy on bully, big dog breeds. We had boarded him before, with a different company, 2 times before. The second time though when we picked him up he was acting very skittish, he was cowed down, his nails were jagged and the lady at the desk said he had had diarrhea, which they never told me when I called for a update. Needless to say I was upset and so when looking for a boarder this time we were very cautious, and concerned. I read all the reviews on Reyna on Rover and I told my husband I like this one. We met with Reyna and her husband and Moses done so good, he ran the yard, played fetch , met their other dog and seemed so content. They went over how they hade separate sections for the dogs to play in, the kennels, we felt so good bout them. Dec 26 we ended up running late to drop off Moses before our trip so all the other dogs that they were boarding was outside, but Moses got anxious bout all the barking, Reyna and her husband took Moses into the kennel and assured us that they would bring him out, after getting all the other dogs back in, to acclimate him. Bring out several dogs at a time. They said they would update us. So after talking to them a bit and feeling better about leaving him, we drove back to Blue Ridge. Reyna ended up calling me a couple hours later and asked how to get Moses back in the house, that he was nervous, and anxious and he wouldn’t come to her. She had tried for over 30 minutes before she called me. I told her some stuff to try, when I called back she said it wasn’t working that he was just very scared acting. She also had I think it was her sister that’s a trainer, trying to get him to come to them, they sit in the ground with him, she told me that she knew someone that could come by our house to check on him but I didn’t wanna leave him at our house that long. So I called our vacation rental company explained what was going on, thankfully they made an exception with a bigger pet deposit and I told Reyna just to leave him alone and we were on our way to get him. When we pulled up, he came running up to us, Reyna said he was a different dog when we got there, he sit while they petted him, and put his leash on, the kids were petting him. She and her sister kept apologizing and saying they tried everything to get him to come to them but he just kept running away and running around. I am super grateful that she called me instead of just putting him in the kennel and leaving him there. She was genuinely worried bout him instead of just making money off of him and for that we do recommend her and her husband for boarding. Her husband called to check up on us and Moses the next day, and he apologized that Moses wasn’t able to stay and how they tried so hard to get him acclimated. I said it was all good, that Im glad they called me. That meant so much to us that they cared so much. He’s my baby and I wouldn’t want him to be miserable. So Moses got to go on a beach vacation, he did amazing on the ride down and back and he made new friends wherever we went while we were there.”

“We took our dog on a mini vacation with us. Last minute option since we didn't want to take him everywhere with us and plus we couldn't in some places. Too many people get him really excited..So we were searching and found Rover app. Started looking around on it and found someone close by. She worked with me with it being such short notice. Yappie met her and we did too and knew he was gonna be just fine. She has dogs too so that was @ plus. She sent many pics and kept up letting us know how he was ... Her dog Barney Yappie loved... All around was a great experience and will definitely recommend her to everyone and will use her again when we're up there... Thank you she is definitely a number 1 pick for us... We could feel Yappie was very relaxed and happy when we left.. when we went to get him he was happy and very excited ... 5 stars with us hands down!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Shawna was amazing! Our pup felt right at home and got all the love she demanded. Shawna and her husband are the kindest people and really know how to make everyone feel comfortable. We would definitely book again!!”

“This sitter was great. Perfect property for my dog as he is not used to being confined indoors all day aside from a few walks. He lives to run and chase squirrels! Dawn has a perfect friend for him there as well 'Dexter' which got along great with my boy. Great communicator, punctual, and even gave me doggie art with his paw print on canvass for me! Highly recommended! PJP”

This was the first time I had left my 2.5 year old Bichon and she was just one of the family for four days! She loved having a playmate, Chewie is a sweetheart and gets along so well with others. “Christina is a wonderful pet sitter. She stayed at our home and took care of our cat for 2 weeks. When we return from a trip, he usually meows and demands attention but when we got home yesterday, he was curled up sleeping peacefully and I had to wake him up. That proves to me that he got so much attention, he didn’t notice we were gone. Christina also took great care of our home and even washed/dried the bedding and towels, which was way above and beyond. Highly recommend her services.”

“Bryanna is a very caring pet sitter. She is very good at listening to your pets needs and making sure they are taken care of in the best way possible. We would definitely use Bryanna to watch our two cats more often. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Aaron was great with Maggie and Gus. They are always a little shy at first, but warmed up to Aaron quickly and even allowed belly rubs and head pats which is AWESOME and a sign they approve! The daily report cards, photos and playtime with each of them made us feel very comfortable with the care provided while we were away for the holidays! Aaron was super responsive and kept us in the loop always! We plan to be repeat customers if schedule permits!”

“I have never felt more comfortable leaving my dogs! She was an angel. I have big dogs that tend to bark quite a lot and she immediately was able to calm them down and bond with them. Sent numerous photos throughout the entire time we were away and gave plenty of updates. I would not go to anybody else!!”

“Showed up and did everything, very respectful of my space and my pets. It’s always a stress wondering if someone will be reliable especially with your pets while you’re on vacation. I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of pet sitting.”

“If you’re looking for someone who is truly compassionate and dependable, Nicole is an outstanding choice. She took wonderful care of my dog, Max, during a drop‑in visit when I had to be away unexpectedly. Her calm, attentive approach made a noticeable difference — Max was relaxed and happy when I returned. The thoughtful photo update she sent was an added touch that gave me real peace of mind. Nicole is someone you can confidently trust with your pet’s well‑being.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Cherry Log
About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I am currently working almost full time. I can spend evenings with your dog. I am usually gone around 6-8 hours a day at most. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I would only take outside on leash. I have a cat. I can keep the cat separated if needed.
“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

“Chitti had a fun time at Yuwadee’s! She sent us a lot of pictures and we could clearly see he was super happy and excited to be there. Will definitely board Chitti with her again!”

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!
“Max enjoyed his time with Lena. She was very attentive to him and provided him with great care during his visit. This was his first time away from his family, so her kindness was very important. Max made a new friend with Lena's Yorkie, Freddie. Lena sent us a very nice photo of the two new friends. We will definitely contact Lena for future visits to that area. Thank you very much, Lena!”

About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture, scratchers and enrichment.
About: I’ve always had pets growing up from cats, dogs to having a pet flying squirrel name Ricky Bobby. I have a genuine heart and a sweet soul and I love animals . My son is in school and I’m a stay at home mom. I have plenty of time on my hands now. I would enjoy having a side job to play with more animals in my life I have two acres of land and plenty of grass to roam around on. I have a fence with a closing gate and I can walk the dogs with as much time needed. They are in good hands !
About: My family and I have had two Huskies, one Ridgeback Mix, & a Lab/Shar Pei mix. We now currently have two, rambunctious Boston Terriers. If there’s one thing I’ve learned with these two is that family runs in fur too. The ability to provide all animals the same loving care their human family gives them, is a reflection of my own love & care for my own furry family. As I’ve discovered a deep interest in botany & herbology, I’ve applied it while baking them homemade-allergy free dog cookies! In terms of experience with pet sitting, I have had experience pet sitting for my neighbor's: two dogs, reptiles, and beta fish. I’ve also watched some cute kittens that have captured my heart, over the years. Not to mention, I have joined two friends with their pet/house sitting job adventures. On each of those occasions, I felt drawn to take more opportunities like this for myself as well.
“Cooper loves daycare with Reyna and her family! Their large fenced-in yard gives him plenty of space to run and play with their sweet puppy, Maple. He loved being part of their family for the day! Reyna sent me great pictures of him zooming around the yard and relaxing near the boys while they worked on school. He came home happy, tired, and ready for a nap! We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Superior experience! ..and communication. Plenty of area to explore and run, much better than a dog park, and typical kennel daycare/boarding. Rhett was pooped out! Highly recommended.”

We are minutes from downtown Dahlonega and close to all the winery’s and many waterfalls and hiking areas. We also have a Mother-in-Law suite which is a one bedroom apartment with separate entrance if you need a place to stay. Check out all the photos of the dogs I have watched. I would be home with your pet for the majority of their stay with maybe a quick trip to the store They will get a fenced in yard with plenty of sunshine and couches to lay on in the lanai. With a fenced in yard and and a playful Lily and with lots of love from me, your dogs will love being here where they will be well taken care of.

About: Since I was 9 years old I have been fortunate to grow up in a household that has always included dogs. Throughout the years, we have cared for a diverse range of breeds, including Terriers, Boxers, and Mastiffs and I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe more dogs). I was raised to care for and love them like I would any family member. I have administered medication to not only my own animals, but to others as well. Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pup while you're away! I have a fenced-in yard with ample amounts of running space. I have three sweet pups: a 13-year-old Westie, a 3-year-old Shepherd, and a yellow Lab who is less than a year old. They are happy to help keep your fur babies busy during playtime or snuggle next to them during nap time. If it's a pleasant day, we'll be outside playing in the yard or lounging in the shade. If not, there is plenty of room to entertain inside. We allow our dogs to relax on the furniture and welcome visitors to it as well; The couch is our favorite place to snuggle! I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. My senior boy is on oral medication; I've also administered medication to others in the past. I would love to love your sweet babe while you're away.

Thank you!”

About: Growing up, we always had a pet in the home, and I was raised under the belief that our pets are members of the family. I have extensive experience living and caring for both dogs and cats, and I welcome the opportunity to look after your pooch or kitty! I work full-time at the Gilmer County Courthouse, but my schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week. Of course, on weekends I’m even more flexible. I usually prefer house sitting (but am open for dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as boarding) for folks and make sure to read any provided instructions multiple times!

About: I have two of my own dogs. One of them actually just had puppies and I delivered them and took care of them myself. I love big dog breeds I work full time until four Monday through Friday. I take them on long walks everyday after I get off of work and they are very well trained and behaved
