About: Hi I’m Meg! I am a 3rd year Medical Student at Wake Forest School of Medicine. My fiancé and I have our own pup named Winter and she is the sweetest ball of energy and would love to make more friends! As a previous D2 xc and track & field athlete, I am a very active sitter/walker and I am able to run with your pet if they wish to do so! I have experience caring for children, large dogs, small dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. We are a fun loving, adventurous, artsy, open-minded, caring, and trustworthy couple and would love the opportunity to get some exercise while creating a safe and exciting adventure for your pup! We provide overnight sitting or doggy daycare at our house. Our house has a fenced in backyard, lots of fun toys, and my fiancé works from home. Please reach out to schedule a sitting in advance or if needed asap. I try to keep our calendar as updated as possible! I am currently rotating among different specialties in the hospital. My schedule varies every week, but my fiancé works from home! Our pup would love to have a friend stay with us so they can play together :) We spend a lot of time outside as long as the weather is nice. We stay away from high traffic areas and safely walk with each other in a trusted manner. Your dog will always stay on the leash if we are outside of our yard to ensure their safety. We walk one dog at a time to allow for better control and trust.

For the walks i prefer early or after 4-5pm because of the heat but otherwise i am mostly available. When I visit your home for walking or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine closely — from feeding schedules to playtime preferences and any special needs. I spend quality time with them, offering lots of attention, gentle play, and calm companionship to help them feel safe and happy while you’re away. During walks, I keep your dog’s pace and personality in mind — whether they love energetic runs or slower strolls — and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like they’re my own.

I work from home, can maintain training routines, and live close to walking trails and vets I work from home and have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted to your pets typical routine. I tend to be up early to walk my own dog In my home I have a friendly, mid-size dog, who can be separated as you prefer. I don’t have a fence in yard back am close to walking trails, parks, and dog runs. For both boarding and home visits I can accommodate most pet schedules and needs.
