About: Hi, I’m Laurin! I graduated in 2020 from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in Animal Behavior. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and my passion for animals has taken me from working with sea turtles, sea lions, and macaws to interning at the Chattanooga Zoo as a keeper and animal ambassador, where I fed, trained, and administered medications to a variety of exotic animals. Now, I live in Chattanooga with my fiancé, our two Golden Retrievers, Finn and Oakley, and our cat, Buzz. I know how important it is to have someone you trust, and I promise to treat your pets with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can spend the whole day caring for your pets and giving them all of my undivided attention. In your home: I maintain your pet’s usual routine such as feeding, walking, playtime and medication (if needed) all in the comfort of their familiar environment. That’s why I’m committed to giving other pet parents the kind of peace of mind I wish for myself. When I’m home, I’m truly home—meaning my little guy is never left alone, and neither will yours be. I treat my dog like my child, from cooking his meals to making sure his life is enriched every day. He’s my whole heart, and since he also loves the company of other dogs, I know caring for yours will bring joy to both of us. Over the years, I’ve cared for breeds ranging from tiny Yorkies to giant Great Danes, as well as pets with special needs (deaf, blind, or mobility challenges). My little guy is a 7lb toy poodle & super friendly so I only accept doggies that are also friendly :-) I work out of town - flexible schedule - when I’m available to sit, I’m there pretty much all day every day. About: I have worked at a kennel where I did daily feedings, walks, medications, baths, and nail trimmings. Now I have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own, that are all house trained and very well behaved. I am a stay at home mom who only leaves the house for groceries and school pick ups for my kids. We don’t go on trips or travel that much. So I am very dependable on being available for your fur baby. I have a big fenced in back yard in a nice neighborhood. I do have 3 dogs( Great Dane, Blue Tick hound, and a Walker tree hound). We also have 2 cats that are inside/outside cats. All of our animals are great with new animals. We do have a large crate if that is something you’re interested in. We also have a full finished basement and garage with heat and air that we can allow your pet to stay in if they aren’t to sociable with others.
