About: I love animals and have always had a dog plus some fun family pets like gerbils, turtles, fish, and a cockatiel! I often care for my children’s pets when they are out of town. They have a variety of breeds: Mini Golden Doodle, Great Dane, Pitbull, Rottweiler, Lab with puppies, and cats. I’m comfortable with providing your pet with any medications or following special instructions, because I know how important their health is to you. I’d be happy to care for all of your pets. I’m retired, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets and can make most anytime work. I prefer daylight hours, and can be available on weekdays or weekends. I have a fenced backyard for your dog to play in, a nice neighborhood to go for walks, and I currently have no pets at home.

Since I work from home, I’m able to offer plenty of time for walks, play, cuddles, and relaxation. When caring for others’ puppies in their home, I bring the same level of attentiveness and dedication, tailoring my approach to meet each puppy’s unique needs while ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy.

“Kristen and her family have been an amazing asset in raising our puppy, Ace. She and the entire family is very loving, patient and kind with our pup. He loves being with her family and her dogs. Her dogs love hanging with him and they are patient and playful with my active pup. He comes home and takes a long nap after his day of play. She has a huge fenced yard that the dogs loves to run and play. My dog started with Kristen in October of 2020 and he goes frequently. We take him weekly for daycare and he stays when we are out of town. Kristen sends updates and pictures. He always looks happy and comfortable. I love his excitement about going. The moment we turn on their street he is up and at the window jumping with excitement. I have to hold his leash securely bc each time I open the car door he takes off quickly to her front door. Our hearts and minds are at ease when our baby is with Kristen and her family.”

I have extra fences for inside and outside the home if someone doesn’t like to mingle. My fur babies are family and I’ll treat yours the same. I work from home 100% of the time. I have breaks on the hour for potty breaks and to go walk and care for your fur babies locally. I live alone with my rescues and my fur babies are my life. I work as a Professional Counselor and have a secondary Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I was raised with a professional dog trainer and have a lifetime of experience. I have a fenced yard with extra barriers to keep everyone safe. My dogs are very friendly and playful and will keep your babies entertained. All of my animals are spayed or neutered with up to date full vaccinations and monthly plans with Banfield to keep them healthy. I have experience giving meds and giving subcutaneous fluids via IV if needed. Elderly and puppies always welcome. I can assist with potty training if needed.
