About: Lifelong owner of dogs, I enjoy walking playing, and exercising dogs. I am a current owner of a sweet, young, and energetic German Shepherd, who is very well behaved. I am a recent early retiree and looking for something fun to do during the weekdays, I am very responsible and would love to work with your dog. I have a fenced in backyard, our dog has a GPS tracker, she’s microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations. I would expect the dog that would need to be taken care of to be up to date on all vaccinations, as well.

About: Hello! I've been an animal lover my entire life. My dog, Zeke and I had a companion kind of relationship, built on mutual respect and happiness; it's something I wouldn't have traded for the world. He sadly passed away in October after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. ___________________________________________________________________________ This is a new offering as of August 2024. I have discovered that adventures are my ideal experiences and would like to advertise as such! Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds), and bike cart rides for the senior pups are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. You and I will decide together on location details, and this app will track where your pup(s) and I are at all times. Wilderness First Aid trained, canine safety versed, ample water provided, and pups will always be kept safely on the leash. Your pup will return home satisfied and tired! ____________________________________________________________________________ For a NORMAL NEIGHBORHOOD WALK, please book a drop-in visit and message to remind me that you would like a walk. Availability for walks and drop-ins will change after Labor Day. Unavailable most weekdays 12-3:30 I am a caretaker by nature, and have been a teacher for the past 4years, a live in nanny before that and most recently a grade school teacher. I'm going back to school to get my licensure. Honestly, care taking and fresh air gives me clarity of mind, and the chance to peel away from the screen helps process all the new information! I am trying to practice running again too, if your canine would like to train with me. Familiar with many local trails and parks. All weather is good weather! Experience with dogs with seizures and giving various medications. Feline friend as well. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends ! I am working at a school 12-3:30, and going to school online. I recently moved my senior dog up here, but I am missing all the adventures we used to go on! Caring for your pets gives me the chance to go where he can't. I do not offer boarding. When I am in your home, I try to leave it better than I found it. I have spent a fair amount of time farming and gardening, so plants will be well cared for if asked.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for a very long time. I cannot walk past a dog without asking it’s owner if I can pet and give their dog love. I grew up with cats and have cared for my friends cat when they went away. I have taken care of friends dogs as well while they vacationed. I’m currently off for the summer as I work in the school system, I have lots of availability. I will be retiring this November and will be more available after Thanksgiving. I live on 14 acres of land, my property abuts the woods, my dog is trained to stay within the yard, I would be outside with the dogs and would not be opposed to leashing them if the families would feel more comfortable. Dogs will also have free range inside my home.

About: I grew up with a Yellow Lab named Jake and a cat named Garfield. I adopted two cats of my own about 8 years ago, one named Chevy Chase and the other is a deaf cat named Buster. I have taken care of family and friends pets whether it be housesitting and staying with them or just checking in daily. I work 8-4 Monday-Friday so I am available to pet sit in a home that is not too far from work and on the weekends. I understand that your pet and your home are very important and I am a reliable, trustworthy person who will leave your home spotless and your pet well taken care of.

I have a large backyard & many dog toys so there won’t be any boredom, there’s a trail behind my house that I can take your dog(s) on for walks, there’s a nearby dog park.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and truly understand their needs! I’ve trained my personal service animal, fostered pups in need, and already dog-sit for wonderful owners in the North Park community. Plus, I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Whether they need playtime, training reinforcement, or just a cozy cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel right at home! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! Since I work from home full-time, your pup will have plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m available for weekend boarding and can accommodate weekday care after 12 PM—unless we’ve planned and confirmed a schedule that works best for your dog’s specific needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and comfortable! 🐾 Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I provide a loving, structured environment tailored to their needs. My dog, Luca, is a great companion and will help keep your pup company. We have a routine of three walks a day, ensuring plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I also provide mental enrichment activities, assist with crate training, and even reinforce sign language for dogs—a valuable skill that benefits all pups, especially as they age and may experience hearing loss. Your dog will be in great hands, getting the care, attention, and training they need to thrive! 🐾

About: Hello! I'm the proud owner of two very friendly Catahoula-mixes who are always excited for some more canine company if you need somewhere to board your dog. For those with very energetic dogs, in addition to the standard 30-minute walks I also offer 60-minute runs/hikes for those who are located near to any outdoor trails. (I run marathons so I'm always glad for some four-legged company). I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I'm based in Spencertown but I'm originally from England where I also walked dogs - I'm that rare breed of international dog carer! Please note, for those looking to board at my home, I live in the woods on 16 acres. Due to the geography of our property we have no fenced in area - we just don't need one. We have 20 free range birds, a free-range pet pig and our two dogs - a lack of fence has never been a problem. Understandably though, for some owners and some dogs this setup is not a good fit. If you have any questions at all about any of my services, then please don't hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. “Alister and I have been dog-walking together for years. And when I am away on holidays, he is always the one who looks after my Border Collie, Zeb. Being a Collie, Zeb needs lots of walks each day to keep him fit and healthy. Alister is one of the most chilled dudes ever with the patience of a saint to keep throwing Zeb's ball even when *surely* after an hour the game must be boring for Zeb by now! He's also great at keeping in touch, sending me little pics of Zeb via WhatsApp when I am away which is great for me and just keeping a check on my house too which is super helpful and gives me peace of mind.”
