About: I've had a dog for nearly 14 years and have always been well acquainted with animals. Over the past few years I've also animal sat for many family and friends. Looking after dogs, cats, and even a rabbit. I'm currently a student at Kishwaukee College and looking for part-time work over the summer to pair up with my internship. My schedule is pretty flexible so pet care is an easy way to work. I'm well aware of how cats and dogs try to bolt through the door when it's opened, or knock food bowls out of your hands, and all of their own unique personalities. So I am prepared to work with pets and owners to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

About: Hi there! My name is Taylor and any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own! Growing up, I had several dogs, cats and horses. From pet sitting, long or short walks, and of course taking care of our own pets, I’ve got experience with it all! I’ve also administered medication to dogs of all ages and sizes. We also have two pups of our own! I have two cats of my own that I rescued and worked with to get them from feral to friendly! I work from home which means I am fairly flexible when it comes to drop in visits either before work or on my lunch break. I work from home full time. I am available before work or on my lunch break for any drop in visits or walks they may need. Let me know what their quirks are so that I can be sure to care for them the best way possible. I always follow your instructions whether that be taking your dog out on a long lead, or constant watching in your fenced in yard. I make sure they get fed on time, potty breaks if they need them a certain time apart, ie every hour, etc.

About: My neighbors and friends have relied on my to take their dogs out for walks and cat sitting since I was in elementary school. I have cared for and owned dogs, cats, and reptiles including a special needs one and am confident I can follow every routine your pet has. I am currently working as a teacher so I will be free all day during the weekends or can additionally do evenings as well during the week! I am stronger than I look so I can handle any size dog and can keep a hold of a leash and keep your pet away from danger.

About: I absolutely love dogs. I’ve always had dogs growing up and love to take care of them. I am very loving and can get along with any dog. I have dog sat for numerous friends and family members and never had any issues. Your dog will love me as much as I’ll love it. I am currently a student athlete right now. Anytime after 12 pm is a good time for me. I can definitely dog walk but can also drop in, feed, and take of dog as need be. I always make sure my dog at home is fed, walked, in a safe environment, and gets the attention it deserves. It makes me happy to make the dog happy!

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, lizards (and even hedgehogs for a couple years!) since I was 10 years old. I love all pets and am happy to go out and play or sit and relax, all depending on the pet’s needs. I have administered medication to senior cats, middle-aged to senior dogs, and lizards. I do not mind helping to clean your house if there are any accidents or messes made while I am there! I am looking for a summer job as I have a couple smaller, less frequent opportunities throughout the summer. I am going to do my masters at NIU in the fall, so I will be in the area for a while! I would love to get out and do lots of walks to enjoy the summer weather. I have two cats at home that get played with daily and enjoy relaxing with me at the end of the day. Because my cats will eat anything and everything, I am very aware of what is left out in my house as well as other spaces. I am happy to clean up any messes or accidents made while I am at your home and make sure everything is the same or better than you left it for an overnight stay. I have pet sit for many friends and family and have had no complaints! I will make sure to take pictures of your pet so you know they are happy and safe, it’s what I would want from anyone who takes care of my cats!

About: Hi! I am a college student who loves dogs but does not have time to get one full time! I am looking to help you out by taking care of your furry friend while also gaining personal happiness from your pup! I have experience with any age dog including seniors! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am available MWF anytime and T TH anytime after 11 am! I am available weekends anytime. I am a huge dog lover! When caring for a dog, I ensure they have a safe and comfortable environment with access to fresh water and nutritious food. I provide regular exercise and playtime to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. Additionally, I offer plenty of love and attention to keep them happy.

About: I have always had a pet in the house since before i could walk. I love every single different type of pet and have had just about every type of pet you can have. I am a super active girl so I would love to hangout and play with the younger hyper pets but I can also relax and take care of the older senior pets. I have trained all my own dogs but i wouldn’t call myself a pro. But, if I could help out and I needed to help train i would be more than willing to. I am currently working part-time for 2 different jobs right now, but still have a ton of free time to be able to take care of your pets! I am not actively in school so the only schedule we have to work around is my work schedule but that should be to hard:) I would be able to walk the dogs and could quickly learn their routines and what the owner preferences are. With cats I would help with litter boxes if needed and would gladly play and hangout with the cats. Along with the dogs aswell of course.

“I hired Melanie for 1 hour per day for a week while we were out of town and our son was working during the day. I was attracted to her profile and the fact that she lived nearby. We have a 90 lb doberman, so I needed someone who would be active with her as she needs lots of exercise. Melanie fit the bill! She came over a few times so she and Kai could become comfortable with each other, and we left town with little concern. Melanie gave Kai all the required attention And sent me videos and pics of the walks/runs and play each day. From what I could see and her daily logs, Melanie looked as forward to seeing Kai as Kai was to see her. I would 100% have Melanie back the next time we are out of town.”

About: I have 3 large dogs of my own so I am no newbie to walking big pups! I absolutely love all dogs and am lucky to have the summers off to give them long walks and provide much needed potty breaks! I am off for the summer (June - August) so weekdays at anytime work for me. I also am free to cover while you go on vacations :) I am extra cautious with our fur babies and their safety, happiness, and well-being is of utmost importance When I am in a client’s home or backyard, I am always sure to check the environment so ensure it is safe for pets (i.e. fence is locked, no small pieces around for choking, water available, etc).

She put up with a lot of chaos on our end in the days leading up to the first sitting service (Sadly our dog passed away unexpectedly, then the impending bad weather forced us to delay travel and change dates). She was flexible and understanding. We also came home to a cleaner house. Seriously...Jill tidied up and took out the kitchen garbage! And took our bins to the curb. That was so kind of her, especially since things were tough before our travel with the passing of our dog. We will definitely work with Jill again in the future.”
