“Miriah took great care of my 2 cats despite the fact it was snowing and difficult to drive to my during the snow storm. I will definitely be requesting Miriah again in the future.”

“Amy looked after our dog for the first time this weekend and she was absolutely wonderful. She asked great questions about meals, walks and our dog's routine and was very thorough in every detail. Amy kept us updated with photos and messages so we never wondered how things were going. Our usually shy dog warmed up to her immediately and I felt completely at ease being away knowing our dog was in such caring hands. We will absolutely work with her again!”

About: I look forward to taking care of your furry family member! I have had many kinds of pets throughout my entire life. I grew up on a farm in Minnesota caring for all kinds of animals, including lots of cats and dogs! I have cared for small to large dogs, puppies, kittens, senior cats, and senior dogs. Given my farm life upbringing, I am comfortable caring for multiple types of pets, juggling varying food and medicine needs, coordinating vet care if needed, etc. I now live in Charlottesville with my fiancé and our small dog Juno. We rescued Juno from the Richmond SPCA in 2022 and she is our baby! I am beginning my first year of law school at UVA, and look forward to spending time with your special pet. I begin my first year of law school in mid-August 2025. Before then, I am fully available for your pet care needs. Once I begin school, I anticipate being available early morning and at night during the weekdays, and all day on weekends. Safety, health, and happiness of your pets are my top priorities. I will ensure I follow your instructions for what routine works for your pets. I always take dogs out on a leash, unless specifically asked not to. I am cautious opening doors to ensure a pet doesn't slip outside behind me. I am particular about my dog's care and routine, and understand that you will be too.

“Hannah is so amazing! I was out of town for a week and I felt 100% confident being away knowing Hannah was there to take care of my 2 cats. She was responsive and so attentive to them. I will absolutely rebook with Hannah!!”

“Loved having Tessa check on my cat! She seems like such a lovely person and provided awesome updates on my cat which gave me great peace of mind. My cat seemed to love her, which was great because my cat can be a bit skittish with strangers. Tessa was great with communication and flexibility! Would definitely book again. Thanks again, Tessa!”

“Nathan was terrific - great communications and really positive about time with Winnie. Really appreciated the contact and follow up”

About: Dogs are treated like family and ,quite honestly, like sweet babies in my household. My roommate and I both have animal experience and adore fury friends. I do have my own 42lb dog as well, so I am only accepting dogs that can be social but I love to give them the dog park, swim in a lake, go hiking kind of experience if permitted. I work remotely, so I have the time to spend with animals during the day. Especially midday long walks. Any animal in my care will be well looked after. I care for all animals like they are my own which means they get spoken to like they’re human and loved like they are human. My house is their house and when going into someone else’s home I am there for one purpose and respect that appropriately.

“Very responsive, and seemed to give my very shy cat the space she needed to get a little more comfortable with her!”

“my dog looked so happy in all of the pics- she definitely had the best time with Ellie and I loved all getting the pictures and updates! thank you! 🤍”

About: I have owned animals since I was a child, as well as house sat for neighbors many times! I also have experience with high-energy dogs. My schedule is very flexible at the moment, so I am often available for any last minute pet needs. I am available on both weekdays and weekends! I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine—whether walking, dropping in, or house sitting. I provide reliable care, regular updates, and treat your home with respect, ensuring your pet feels secure, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them! From raising my own family pets to caring for dogs of all ages, whether it’s energetic puppies just weeks old or gentle seniors needing extra love. I bring years of experience and genuine care to every dog I meet. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the joy of watching dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, and I treat every pup like they’re my own. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and it brings me so much happiness to care for them and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m currently in grad school at UVA with classes only two days a week, and even then, they’re never longer than a few hours at a time. This means I’m available every day and can easily build pet care into my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I have the flexibility to provide consistent and attentive care. I care for pets by giving them lots of attention, love, and activity. Whether I’m in my home or the client’s, I make sure pets get plenty of time to play, go on walks, or just hang out and relax depending on what they need. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible, like feeding times and bathroom breaks, and I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Staying active with them through walks, fetch, or just playing around, is one of the main ways I show care and build trust.

About: I have taken care of neighborhood and friends’ dogs and cats my whole life. They rely on me to walk, feed, and comfort their pets. I now own two affectionate shelter cats that have taught me extreme patience. I am currently an administrative fellow at UVA Health. I have lots of flexibility on weekends and can ensure your pet will get plenty of care. I will ensure your space stays clean and your pets stay happy. I will walk and play with your pets as long or short as you need.

“Christian went above and beyond in making my reactive Aussie comfortable and building up trust, and I really appreciated how much patience Christian showed! My Aussie is much more chill with them now, and we’re already booked for more visits and dog sitting! Christian is also meticulous in note taking and communicating, and making sure all the care tasks are performed the way my Aussie is used to.”

“I’m so glad I found this service! I was able to travel with peace of mind that my cat would be well cared for by someone who genuinely loves animals. Sarah took lots of great pictures during her visits. Thank you!”
