“Shelby siempre busca la manera de entender a mis perros. Hace además un adecuado manejo del tiempo. Hasta el momento es la quinta ocasión que he solicitado sus servicios y me hace sentir a gusto y seguro el saber que mis perros están en hienas manos.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 2 and grew up with three big pups (and a cat!). Now in Tampa without my family dog, I channel all that love into keeping your pups happy—whether it’s puppy zoomies or senior snuggles. Running a gym gives me a flexible schedule with plenty of breaks between classes, which means I have the perfect windows for walks, playtime, and check-ins. Whether it’s a quick midday stroll or some extra snuggles, I can easily fit caring for your pup into my daily routine. Moving to Tampa without my family pup, I miss her like crazy—so I happily “borrow” other people’s dogs for cuddles, walks, and playtime. I always keep things clean and bring my own food, so your home stays just the way you left it.

About: I love cats and have grown up with quite a few throughout life. I have been a pet sitter to friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I have a senior cat now who needs daily medications, so I am familiar with providing comfort while giving specialized care. I work from home most days of the week and am free on the weekends, so my availability is pretty open. I am available for sitting Saturdays - Tuesdays to come check in and spend time with your cat. During drop ins, I make sure water bowls are full, litter boxes are clean, and food is served as scheduled. I also paws (pun intended) and take the time with cats to see how they’re doing with head rubs, ear scratches, or whatever they like to keep them company.

About: I have taking care of animals since I was 10 years old. I grew up in a house full of 4 dogs and I was responsible for feeding, bathing, walking, and playing with my furry family as well as other dogs in our community. I have experience in pet-sitting, neighborhood walking, bathing, boarding, and trick training. I am working part time (mostly in the evenings on weekdays), so I have plenty of time to play with and provide care for your furry friends! My schedule leaves me available on weekends, mornings and afternoons. I have experience crating dogs, administering medication, giving treats and commands, as well as handing dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am comfortable with any and all pups!

“Sally is a wonderful dog walker. She was very communicative, considerate and professional — and she sent photos and video each day. I would highly recommend d Sally for any dog related needs! We will certainly be using her services again in the future.”

About: I only sit one dog at a time and guarantee individual attention! I'm experienced with a family dog and downtown Tampa dogsitting and walking. Small and medium size dogs are my preference. I've taken care of a special needs dog with mobility issues and provide gentle, patient care every step of the way. ❤️🐾 I work hybrid in IT so I spend most of my time at home. On days I go into office, I come back after lunch and spend the majority of the day with furry friends. On weekends, I'm relaxing at home and enjoying downtown Tampa - I'd love for your pet to join me for a chill stay. 🪷 I live in an apartment that is spacious enough for light play and comfy lounging. There are several dog parks in downtown Tampa just minutes from me, as well as the Riverwalk. 🌳

About: I’ve never lived without dogs until I moved out this year so let me help you! I’ve had small dogs all the way up to giant breeds (200 lbs). I’ve trained puppies and working dogs (in german) and am comfortable with non-neutered male dogs. High energy is my forte and I’ve never met a dog I’m not comfortable around. I’m familiar with leash reactivity as well and am willing to help any dog. I’m working full time but have time early mornings and all weekends. I have the flexibility to work from home so on days I do, I can be free most hours of any day. I understand people live busy lives, and I can work with any accommodations that you have. While I can’t use my space I can care for your babes anywhere that you have them judgment free.

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life. I'm the go-to for friends and family when looking for pet-care and I'm no stranger to cleaning up pet messes. I work freelance in Tampa, and live in Melbourne when I'm not working. When in Melbourne I can walk, house-sit, and play with your pet, however when I'm in Tampa, my time during the day is sparse. I can walk, house-sit, play with, and feed your pet. I love taking dogs to the dog park or the beach by my house. I'm more than happy to perform any chores you need for your pet.

About: Hello! I am a responsible, energetic, and flexible young professional who loves meeting and caring for new dogs! After moving to Tampa from up north in Maryland, I was so sad to have to leave my labradoodle, Buster, at home. I have missed caring for a dog of my own, so what better remedy than taking care of new pups from around my neighborhood! I have several years of pet care experience, from the puppy stage all the way to adult. I love taking walks on Bayshore, and am close to several outdoor parks! I am available every day in the afternoon/evening, and generally in the early mornings. I can't wait to give your dog the best overnight experience possible, including walks in the fresh air, playtime, belly rubs, snuggles, and so much love!!!

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I grew up with everything from German Shepherds and Labradors to Schnauzers and Chihuahuas, and I’ve been volunteering and fostering with animal shelters and rescues since 2017. That’s included everything from bottle-feeding newborn kittens to providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I am an Air Force veteran, who left the service to follow my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. I hold a Master’s Degree in Animal Science and have worked as a veterinary assistant in clinics across Alabama, Germany, and Turkey. I’ve just relocated to Tampa and plan to join a local veterinary clinic soon. Whether your pet needs a playmate, a calm companion, or someone experienced in medical or senior care, I’d love to help. I treat every animal as if they were my own—with patience, love, and respect. As I adjust to living in Tampa, I am waiting to find work for a few more months. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment! I do not plan to offer in-home services at this time. I am extremely careful in others homes and will be sure to abide by each clients requests.

“I can't say enough great things about Susy! She took care of my two pups for 5 days while we were out of town, and they absolutely loved her. She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. On a separate occasion, I had to leave town unexpectedly, and she stepped in at the last minute without hesitation. Her flexibility and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

Channelside dog parents share their Rover experiences
Johnny is great! Johnny understands how to build a relationship with dogs and their owner. In one week he has built a strong bond with my dog and she looks forward to her walks with him. He also takes the time to hang out with my dog rather than taking her out for 5 minutes and leaving. Johnny is very professional, responsive and communicates effectively. He is always punctual and will let you know ahead of time if anything has come up on his calendar. He sends pictures daily of my dog and gives me details of anything that went on during their walk. I cannot recommend Johnny enough. Very lucky to have found him!

Christina is seriously one of the best dog sitters/walkers we have ever encountered on this app. She is incredibly thoughtful and kind to not only our dogs but us. She is always on time and communications very throughly. My two dogs, a 8 month old puppy and 2 year old Bernese adore her so much. They cry and jump up and down when they see her hahah. I could not recommend Christina enough she is a great person and a friend!!
