“Paige is fantastic! She was so kind and patient with my nervous dog and won his trust in the first interaction, which never happens! I would 100% recommend her to anyone to watch their dog. She is reliable and was right on time to walk my dog. I will be using her in the future for sure!”

About: I’ve had animals since I was five and when I was 10, I started doing dog walking and dog sitting for friends and neighbors I also started taking care of my grandmother whenever I was 16 I must spend my week playing video game watching. I’m just hanging out around the house with my animals. Sometimes I will go out on the town to do something. I take them out for walks feed them and make sure they’re comfortable in their house. “Christine is awesome! She is conscientious and dependable! We will definitely have her dog-sit again, and not have large packages delivered during that time for her to lug inside!”

With years of experience in pet healthcare, I ensure every furry friend receives skilled attention, affection, and the best possible care. Whether it’s administering medications, providing companionship, or just giving the best belly rubs, your pet is in safe and loving hands! I am currently a full-time pet care giver, ready to provide comfort, care, and kindness to your pet’s day and peace of mind to yours! I would love to be able to accommodate requests to the best of my abilities! Anything that is asked of a pet parent I am willing to do for the care of your animal! “Ada was amazing with my girl! Would 100% recommend!”

About: I have had dogs in my house since before I could walk and currently have a puppy of my own, she is a French bulldog, Boston terrier mix. I have volunteered at different animal shelters in the Jackson and Starkville area, taking the dogs for walks and playing with them. I always look forward to taking care of all animals, whether they are new to me or not! :) I am currently studying and taking classes for nursing school, however, I am more than capable of waking up early and coming by to check in whenever I need to. Additionally, with enough notice I could schedule in visits with my daily plans I can easily leash up pets for daily walks and follow whatever instructions are given to me to ensure the safety of your pets. My priority will be your pet’s safety.

I will make sure that food/objects are not within reach for curious pets.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life, I am also experienced with farm animals (including large animals) and some exotics (specifically birds and rodents). I am currently working at an animal hospital and am applying for vet school soon. I am also a member of the American Kennel Club and have experience with animal behavior. I would love to take care of your pet! I am a student at Mississippi State and work Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. I do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. I am willing to accommodate to your animals needs. If they need to be leash walked at your home, or need someone to watch them in the yard I can do that. I am also experienced with many medications and know how to administer them. Your pets needs are my top priority.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. They are an absolute joy. Friends have trusted me to look after their pets many times, and their pets absolutely adore me just as much as I adore them. I believe in giving pets ample love and attention, as well as activities so they get exercise and they're not bored. I do not work my full-time job on weekends, which gives me the opportunity to give my undivided attention to your fur baby. Although I work during the week, I will take breaks to check in on your pets and allow them to take potty breaks. I am happy to have dogs in my home, or keep them company at your your home. I will keep them active by going on walks and visiting the dog park, if that is something you think they would enjoy. I do not have children or other pets, so your pet will be 100% safe.

About: Hello! I have been a volunteer with the Humane Society since 2018 and have experience doing all sorts of things! I have overseen meet and greets with new owners, fed/watered dogs on a schedule, cleaned yards, walked dogs, watched over playtime in the yards with multiple dogs, dealt with puppies, trained puppies, handled senior dogs, and handled cats as well. I went through orientation and training in order to be in this position at the shelter, so I have a good understanding of animal behavior and treatment. I also have two dogs of my own back at home and have been around dogs my whole life. (I’m okay with snakes too, I’ve had one of my own). I have been a pet sitter for family friends as well and have been told that they love the way I care for their babies! I am an avid animal lover and plan to become a veterinary surgeon. I am currently at Mississippi State University in the pre-vet concentration of my animal and dairy sciences major! I am home from college for the summer, so my schedule is super open! I work part-time and shifts are only about 4 hours, so that leaves me plenty of time to give your pets the quality time that they deserve! I will be very dedicated to giving your fur babies the best care possible. My own dog is super active and she gets walked for an hour in the mornings, another shorter walk mid-day (weather permitting), and then another hour long walk in the evenings with plenty of play time in between! I will send daily updates and photos if you are away from home and I am doing drop in visits! I know that when pet parents are away, pets can become lonely and feel left out but I am here to make sure that they have fun and have a happy time! I have such a great passion for helping pets and will treat your babies like they’re my own!

About: Hello I have worked at a veterinarian clinic in my home town for 3+ years now and I am looking for some jobs here in Starkville while I am away and would love to help take care of any animals. As a full time student I think pet care will be easy to fit into my schedule daily or weekly any time that is needed. You can trust in my care of your pets as I worked at an all animal clinic so I have experience with many different animals and things to do in emergency situations.

About: I work at Shaggy Hound where we treat your dogs just like our own. I take care of dogs from 3 months to 17 years old. I can administer medications and keep them on a regular schedule. I can also start training your dog basic commands while they are in my care. I believe what sets me apart from other people is my knowledge and experience. I used to work at a vet clinic for four years and now I work as a Kennel Tech. I have gained so much confidence in my ability to handle and work with animals. Pet care fits into my routine because it’s what I do for work, i work with dogs and then I come home and get to spoil my own dog and cats. I have a passion for caring for animals because they can’t do it for themselves. Your pets depend on you and that is my motivation to be better for them everyday. I care for other people’s animals with the same genuine love as I do my own. Pets are apart of the family and deserve to see love and respect always.

“Very gentle with my little chihuahua whippet mix. By day 4 of walks he was very excited to see Alexis when she arrived for his walk. Unfortunately, weather was so miserably hot outside, longest walk was only about 20 minutes. Shortest about 12 minutes (paid for 30 minutes walks). I would definitely use her again! Highly recommend!”

About: I trained my old and current dog and now she is ESA certified. She’s exceptionally well behaved and listens to commands very well. I spoil her with treats and play time and I would risk my life for her like I would for yours. I take my dog out 4-5 times a day to play or use the bathroom. I feed her twice a day and give her plenty of love and attention. From belly rubs to wrestling. I would treat any animal I sit like mine. I keep an eye on them 24/7. I watch them outside so they don’t eat anything that will make them sick. I don’t let them chew on anything that could be dangerous.

About: Hi! My name is Ava and I am a vet student at Mississippi State! I have been taking care of animals in all types of settings (vet kennel, dog/catsitting, zoo, lab, animal shelter clinics) since high school as I have been working towards becoming a veterinarian. I can administer any medications necessary and I am prepared to work with all of your furry friends! :) I am in school all day, but I do have an hour lunch break so I am free to walk your furry friends! I also have all evenings and days during the weekend free for drop in visits and housesitting. I care for pets in my client's homes by ensuring that they always have access to plenty of food and water, receive a lot of attention, and are outside regularly for walks/playtime. I am also comfortable administering any type of medications needed. My number one goal is to ensure that your pet is safe and comfortable throughout the duration of my time with them.

About: •Worked at a dog kennel for 5 years •Two years of veterinary school before pursuing another career •Years of animal handling and care experience •Comfortable with all breeds and temperaments •Price negotiable based on number of animals, temperament and amount of care needed •We can discuss hours of care upon request. During the week I have a full-time job from 8a-5p. I have an hour lunch that I could walk pets during. On the weekends, I try to be with your pets as much as possible. I may need to run random errands. Your pet won’t be unattended for longer than you are comfortable with. We can discuss what your specific needs/wants are prior to pet care. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. I know each person cares for their pets in different ways and I try to accommodate any requests made •I live with my fiancé, who is a big animal lover. I will be taking care of your pets, but for full transparency like to let you know there’s another person in the home. I also have a cat, she minds her own business. I can always keep her separate from your pets if they are not good with cats. When sitting, I try to not schedule any other events so I can be with your pet as much as possible. During the week I work 8a-5p with an hour lunch. On the weekends I normally leave it open for pet sitting and will not go anywhere besides a random errand if needed. I accommodate almost all requests no matter how unique. Special diet, nightly routines, or any activities you do with your pets I try to follow

About: I’ve taken care of animals from the time I could walk. I was raised on a farm so I have extensive experience! Friends and family have requested me and suggested me to their acquaintances so I’ve had a large genre of animals I have cared for. I am in and out of town this summer so I am using this as my job whenever I am home! I am open any time and any day that I am in town and can accommodate to anyones busy schedule! In clients home, I play and love their animals. Walks, snuggles, belly rubs, play time, and attention is offered at an endless amount. Honestly, I want to pick up where y’all have left off, to make your pets as comfortable and loved as they are when their own family is home!

About: Dogs have been in my life since I was born and it has shaped my love for animals tremendously. I treat dogs like my own family even if they aren’t my own! Dogs hold the happiness in my heart and every dog I have taken care of holds the most special place in my heart. I am currently in the Vet Tech program at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine therefore I am learning and helping animals daily! I am in class from 8-12 on weekdays during Summer 2025! I will ALWAYS be sure to keep your fur babies safe and sound while they are in my care! I will respect your home at all times no matter the circumstances.

About: Since I can remember I’ve always been surrounded by animals especially dogs. I’ve had about 3 dogs of my own but have cared for well over 20 in my entire life. I remember growing up with my grandparents I would always wake up early to go out into the yard with my grandfather to tend to his 8 maybe even 10 dogs (he has a big heart for animals so maybe it was a lot more). I’d go and greet them all, I enjoyed every bit of it, they’d even have to yell at me to come inside to rest or eat.( I definitely caved) But growing up like that, seeing my grandparents love for animals carried over to me and I one day was able to give all that love to puppies of my own. I now have the privilege to do so with other peoples pup and get paid??! Sounds like heaven to me! I am a full time student with no job so the time and days I have set really fit my schedule. Im always ahead on my work so i’m usually just laying around doing nothing or in the gym here and there so to be able to spend that time outside with a pup would do me some justice! I am always keeping an eye out for my pup ensuring he’s having fun but also safely. Charlie (my puppy) is leash trained but also can walk without one so I definitely have to keep an eye on him to be sure he’s not getting into things he shouldn’t. I can guarantee that I will do the same for your pup as I do my own!

“Reliable, professional, conscientious. Trustworthy with complicated medical routines. I have a medically complicated, toothless, arthritic, geriatric, high maintenance pitbull. Before I travel, LaShundra will stop by so I can show her the latest pill and medication regiment. Based on how the old man reacts when she walks in the door, I can tell they have a special bond.”

“Ava has taken care of my three dogs and two cats on multiple occasions over the past 5 years. She is timely, dependable, and exceptionally kind and caring to the animals in her care. My pets love it when Ava comes over; they know that they are in for a fun-filled time of playing, treats, and plenty of pets. Finding someone to care for your pets can be stressful, but whenever Ava is watching my pets, I know that they are in amazing hands and that they are happy and well cared for. You truly couldn't find a better person to trust with your pets.”

Sara S.
“Sara EXCEEDED every single expectation we had for someone to take care of our dog Junior. Junior is 13 years old and is a rescue. He is not comfortable with anyone new in his life. In addition, he requires insulin injections and glaucoma eye drops every day. He has tumors and a very sensitive stomach. He is a lot of work to say the least. But Sara was up for the challenge and she was absolutely amazing with him. She took the time to meet with us twice prior to our vacation to get to know him. Just taking this time with him/us really made us feel comfortable with leaving Junior for 2 weeks. While we were away, she followed our daily plan for homemade meals and medication requirements. Which isn’t easy with him, there are a lot of details! She sent pictures and videos to reassure us that he was ok. Additionally, she noticed that his ear was bothering him and took him to the vet for us to get an additional medication for his ear infection. Her dedication and attention to detail with him far surpassed any place we have boarded him. I have already asked her about future bookings and hope to continue this relationship into the future. The real testimony was from Junior and he missed her very much on his first day without her. She truly has a gift with animals and I am very grateful to have found such a wonderful dog sitter.”

Jerzie P.
“Jerzie did such an amazing job caring for all our animals. She grew up with dogs, birds, pigs, cats and bunnies and you could tell right away how much she loves animals, and how much they love her! We knew our precious ones were in the best hands. Thank you Jerzie!”

“The most sweetest person ever!! She took out time to walk, talked and play with my elderly fur baby Jordyn . It was nice to see such kindness transpire between a human being and animal. You don’t find too many that are willing to go the extra mile when it comes to caring for others especially animals. Im so glad that she had enough love to share with Jordyn .”
