“Heather is great! She was very communicative with us, friendly, flexible and took great care of my cat. We will definitely look to re-book with Heather again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and I have cared for horses and livestock for many years. My husband and I brought home an 8 week old puppy in January of 2024. We named him Doc. He literally changed the course of my life. I began learning how to train dogs and worked at a boarding, training and day care facility. Doc gave me a sense of purpose and direction I did not know I needed. This change in my life made me realize I needed to direct my life to caring for dogs. I have been learning about dog training and behavior for well over a year now. This, combined with my experience growing up with dogs, I believe I am more capable of caring for dogs than most others. In February 2025 we welcomed our puppy, Sunny, to our family. Another yellow lab warmed our hearts with all the fun and excitement puppies bring! I am not only capable of taking the utmost care of puppies and adolescent dogs, but senior dogs as well. Growing up, our family dogs lived to be 13 and 14 years old. I know the special needs they may have, and I truly cherish the time spent with them. Your dog will be given the love, kindness and patience I have given every dog I have ever had. I am currently a full-time housewife and dog mom so I have many openings during the day to care for other animals beyond my own. I also am able to care for dogs overnight. My client's dogs are held to the same care and safety standards as my own dogs when they are in my care. I am highly vigilant of their protection and well-being. I take full responsibility for client's dogs in my care. They are directly supervised by myself and myself only. Give me the rules and layout of your home and I will act accordingly with your pets. You can trust that I will respect all boundaries for your beloved pets. At my own home, I have a 6 foot high privacy fence fully enclosing my back yard. The yard has about 5500 square feet, or more, of grass to play on and an inground pool to swim in. The pool has a cover that will hold 400lbs+ when not in use. If a dog were to walk over it, that is a non-issue. The pool cover is closed at all times unless I am directly supervising. The pool has ledges and steps with many different levels for the dog to be comfortable in. My house and my barn are accessible from the enclosed back yard. The barn has heat during the winter and is cool with open air during the summer. The barn is puppy-proof, as I like to call it, assuring there is nothing dangerous for pets to get into. Just a large concrete space. There is fresh, clean water at all times, enrichment activities to investigate and raised beds to relax on. My house, accessible from the back yard, is temperature controlled with a kitchen and living room for them to roam freely as well as the walk-out basement for senior dogs or who are not fond of stairs. Again, this is a safe space where pets can enjoy comfy beds, toys and a full, clean water bowl. I supervise play at all times. If your dog loves toys, I love to play with them! As part of caring for your dog, I am always willing and eager to find their favorite play style and keep them entertained!

“Second time booking with Cailin and she was just as great as before! Very helpful and did everything we asked and more! Next time we need another sitter, we’ll be sure to contact Cailin again!”

About: I have been around animals most my life as well as been a pet sitter for friends and family on a numerous occasions. I’ve worked in a kennel for a few months as well as had a few dogs of my own, ranging in size and breed! I’m very attentive and trained to animal behavior so your fur baby’s will always be in safe hands with me. Alongside the care of younger dogs I’ve also had the opportunity to work with senior dogs, giving them the extra care that was needed making sure that they were comfortable! Pet care is my only job at the moment so I have open availability and time to provide walks also to care for your animals . As I’ve stated I’ve worked in a kennel so the care of your animals would be my top priority, I always take the needed safety precautions. As I am trained in being aware in animal behavior.

About: puppy safe home full of toys & treats Doogie door leads them out to the fenced in yard to run freely & play and then doggie beds to come in a rest when ready. I am working part time so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your fur babies. I make sure they stay on their schedule. I have a fenced in backyard for them to be able to run and play safely. In your home they will be taken care of just like if you were there.

“Isabella was so kind and was sure to check in with us while she watched our dog! 🙂”

“Amber is awesome! Our second time working with Amber. We had previously worked with her back in October and when a trip after Christmas came up, she was the first person we thought of. She's super awesome about checking on the little ones and making sure all was right with them. The kids and I loved the updates with the photos of our little ones. While we always worry leaving our pets home, we felt good knowing they were in great hands with Amber.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! Taking care of them is a passion I didn’t realize I had until I had my own house and didn’t have one to care for! So I quickly changed that and have a dog I care for daily. For drop in visits I am available before 830am and after 1. During that time I am in school with my kids. I am a home maker. I spend most of my daily hours home schooling my kids and taking care of my dog! Our home is filled with love and laughter. The care I provide is the same care I would expect one to treat their dogs with! Dogs are not just simply pets but family members and should be treated as so!

“Very trustworthy and nice person. My golden Kali warmed up to Monica instantly. I will definitely be using her in the future. I was able to focus on my road trip and not have to worry about my pet. Monica was great”

About: Hi, I'm Jen and am a professional dog sitter, not a weekend warrior. I previously provided boarding and daycare services for years on Rover but sold my home and am now providing in-home care via drop-in visits or house sitting. I have one pup, Dave, who is 18 now and loves to have company and snuggle with pups no matter what size they are! Dogs are pack animals and need to have doggie company occasionally, it's good for their soul and temperament and Dave is a great doggie companion and will sit your pup(s) with me. While you are away I will also care for your plants, receive mail/packages and take care of your home. I have cared for pups since I was a kid (that's me in my profile pic aged 10). Rest assured that I am one of the most qualified Rover sitters and will take care for your pups and home better than most. A steady routine is best for pups so we will discuss your pups daily schedule and I will adhere to that (with a ton of extra play and cuddles, of course!). I will need to know their potty, feeding and sleep schedule as well as any medical issues they may have or medicines/vitamins they may take. The more information you provide the better! I am a professional full time sitter and am available to book 7 days a week. I will also care for your home while you are away and will provide all my own necessities. If you have a yard, we will play in the yard if that is your pups speed - if your dog is elderly and is more a sleepy-dog, we'll chill and snuggle. Knowing basic daily routine and habits as well as any medical issues is super important. Keeping your pup on schedule and in his/her daily routine will make his/her time away from you much easier. When I am with your pets they receive my full attention as pet sitting is my full time privilege. I take the care of animals very seriously and will treat your pets as my own. I do not currently sit pets in my home but am happy to sit them in yours via drop-ins or house sitting and will adhere to the care instructions you provide as well as share additional care options that I think may be beneficial to your pet(s), if any.

“Crystal was awesome. We had a last minute trip come up and we needed a sitter. I found Crystal and reached out. She was great and with short notice was able to swing by to meet Sasha and my family before we left. Crystal took great care of my little Sasha and was did a great job. Very professional, organized and communicative. Will definitely look to book with Crystal again in the future when we take a trip. Thank you Crystal!!”

“Ashley always does well with Gianna! She is always so happy and content when we get home and she keeps my house in order too! Thank you for all your help!”

About: We have a grumble of two pugs, two kids (8 and 9) I work from home so I have the time to take them out all day. We have had our pugs since they were babies, except for our late rescue who became paralyzed and needed our help with both urinary and fecal expression, as well as medications administered. We are experienced with puppies to older special needs dogs. We do not, at the time, feel comfortable with having aggressive breed of dogs in our home with our grumble of pugs or our children. We have a ranch home with no carpet, it is a very pet friendly home with a fenced yard as well. We are happy to help you with your fur babies too!~ We do ask that you bring belly bands that fit your male dogs so that they don't mark in the home, only if they show signs of lifting their leg. We can change the pads in them, but we prefer that you bring a belly band that fits them with you for your stay. Thank you for understanding. They will only be used if necessary. I’m always home other than quick trips out to run the kids to sports or errands as I work at home so able to take them out very frequently Our yard is fenced, scenic view on a large pond, and extremely dog and kid friendly Our dogs and kids love to keep younger dogs busy and senior dogs cozy. They will feel right at home during their stay with us!

“Allen was the most amazing sitter I've used in Rover! He loved our cat Rosie as his own and went above and beyond, brushing her, giving her lots of attention, giving her treats. I will absolutely book him to watch my dog and cat in the future!”

“Destiny came to our house to take care of our cats. She’s so nice and sweet and took such great care of them. I got a lot of pictures and videos! I would def recommend Destiny - she’s such a animal lover!!”

About: Cats have held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. My love for them began when a stray cat followed me at my great-grandfather’s place in Arizona, and it has only grown since then. I’ve been fortunate to adopt two wonderful feline companions—my first in 2004, who was with me until 2018, and my second in 2021. With over 20 years of experience caring for cats, I’ll be sure to provide the best care for you and your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members soon! With a flexible work schedule, I have the time to provide exceptional care for your pet. I’m available from early morning to evening ... and anytime in between to look after your fur baby. I believe most cats feel safest and most comfortable staying in their own home while their owners are away. Leaving your cat at home while away is always stressful on not only you but the cat. I will make sure your cat is fed, has fresh water, treats (if applicable) and gets some playtime for exercise ... all in the comfort and security of their own home. Before accepting a booking, I prefer to meet your pet in advance. This helps ensure that you feel confident in my care and, just as importantly, that your pet is comfortable and familiar with me before my visits.

About: *Pet Care Experience* I have been an owner of dogs and a cat my entire life so I am very familiar with a pets needs. I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter and have overnight boarded dogs for friends and neighbors many times! *Why Me?* I just finished grad school to become a physician assistant and have a few months before beginning work in surgery. This background shows my high level of care, responsibility and trustworthiness. I treat all people AND PETS like my own family. In addition, these last few years of school make me extra eager to get some time with some furry friends and be able to go outside while the weather is SO nice! You won’t need to worry about a lazy sitter with me; I want to go on a walk and play with your dogs just as much as they do!! I look forward to working with you and getting to spend some quality time with your pets while you are away!! *Schedule* I am VERY flexible and have lots of time to play with your pets while you are away or at work!! I just finished grad school and have a few months before starting my new job! I am a very early bird so if you leave work early and need pets picked up before; no need to worry. *Caring for Pets/Services* I will follow the directions of the owner. But am able to take your pet on long walks or can allow them to play in a fenced yard if applicable. If overnight boarded at my home I have a gated outdoor dog area plus great parks to walk to!

“Aubree did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. We felt that we could really count on her. She was there when she said she would be. She played with Holly and set up her toys.”

“Katelynn would be a wonderful caregiver for pets. I've watched her raise her two dogs with the utmost care since the first day they came home. She commits to meeting their physical and mental needs each and every day. Katelynn also treats my own dogs just as she would her own, and she is the first person I would call if I ever needed someone to care for them while I had to be away. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs in general and is exceptionally skilled at reading their body language and identifying signs of minor or emergent health issues. I highly recommend Katelynn as a caregiver with Rover.”

“I feel JaSeantaRuth would be an excellent caregiver due to her nurturing love and care she has for animals. I've witnessed the care she has when she helped with the care of my mother's cat and dog. She treated them with abundance of love as if they were children. You can actually see the joy in her eyes when she's around them, and the love the animals reciprocate back speaks for itself.”
