“Regina is the best! My pup Stevie loves her & enjoys to have her company when i am away! Regina is my go to pup sitter 100% of the time i have needed her to tend to Stevie she was willing & available! If you need an awesome & very reliable sitter for your pets i advise you to go with Regina every time!”

“Gianna was a super cat-sitter! She was timely and responsive to texts and really seemed to connect well with our kitten, Bubba. Gianna did everything that we asked of her (food, water, litter box, playing toys, sending a picture during her visit) and even left us some things for Bubba and a sweet note for us when we got home. If I could give her more than five stars I would. I hope to ask her back again the next time we need someone to stop in for him! Gianna was a real find!!!”

I miss working work animals and I’m excited to start again! I do work a full time job, but i do have off every other weekend and am available every day during the week between 8am and 2pm. “This was our first time using someone who wasn't family watch our puppies while we were away snd katie made us feel so confident that they were well taken care of! She was very communicative and the dogs had a blast with her! We will definitely be using her again for our next trip.”

“This was my first time using Rover & I happened upon Kat after pouring over all the sitters in my area. I knew right away she was who I wanted to take care of my fur babies when I’m out of town. After a meet greet the kitties and I loved her. She’s a vet tech by profession, animal CPR certified & a mom to many fur babies herself. I felt content & safe leaving my world in her hands & knew if there was a problem that she’d be able to use her skills, judgment and background to handle it. Bonus she sends pictures & videos & I loved this:)... I plan on utilizing her from here on out & you should too!! You won’t be disappointed!!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and developed a genuine love for animals from an early age. I have sat and taken care of friends’ and families' pets over the years. While in high school my mother and I fostered dogs while they waited to be adopted. In addition, I spent 2.5 years working at a locally owned pet store, where I gained hands-on experience with pet care, behavior, and nutrition. I am widely available during the week besides scheduled appointments, errands, and housework. I have reliable transportation and keep an organized schedule so there is no overlap. Each animal should feel safe in their home while their owner is away, so I work calmly and patiently to earn their trust through my actions. Your dog should know I am there for their well-being, including all the good things like snuggling, playing, and tail wags. I treat each client's home with the kindness and respect I would want in return if the roles were reversed. I follow all instructions and information provided to the best of my ability, and your dog will receive plenty of love in the process.

I will love and treat your dog like my own and I am happy to help meet your pet’s needs. I have helped take care of my family pets, taken care of my own dog, dog and cat sat for neighbors, and taken many dogs on walks. I helped train a family puppy and continuously been working on training with my own dog - I am able to carry over any training you have been doing in my visits or walks. I am currently working full time and doing dog walking/drop in visits on the side. I am able to help in the morning and afternoon around my fixed schedule. In the summer I will have more availability due to working in the school district and can help more if you are looking for more frequent visits! I make sure the pet is comfortable in their environment, especially as they can be nervous with a new person. I care for them as you typically would to keep their routine the same.

About: Special skills: senior pet care, pets with various behavioral and health needs, administering medication, kittens/puppies Growing up my family rescued numerous cats with varying behavioral and health needs and I have built loving connections with both the most cuddly and most standoffish of pets. Since childhood my neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets while on vacation and many senior neighbors depended on me to assist with dog walking. In 2020 I inherited my neighbors 12 year old dog when she passed away. Caring for his diverse needs into his old age was one of the highest honors of my life thus far. At home I have 4 dogs varying in size from Shih Tzu to Newfoundland. I love to walk and be in nature and am a great dog companion for the summer weather! I am a graduate student on a break from school with a flexible schedule to provide your fur babies with cuddles and care. I am happy to help almost any time, any day ! Building secure and trusting bonds with pets and their owners is a top priority of mine. Following instructions and attention to detail and safety is a key component of that.
About: What sets me apart is my background in veterinary medicine and animal care. I have over five years of experience working with animals and currently work as a Veterinary Assistant and Customer Service Representative at an animal hospital. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including seniors and those requiring medications or extra attention. My experience allows me to recognize changes in behavior, monitor for potential health concerns, and provide attentive, compassionate care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine due to having a structured schedule that allows me to reliably plan around animal care. I work Monday through Friday from 3–9 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM–1 PM, which leaves me available in the mornings, evenings, and Sundays for consistent pet visits, feeding, walks, and check-ins. I’m very organized with scheduling, allowing me to ensure each pet receives care on time and maintains their normal routine. In my client’s home, I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions exactly as provided, and I pay close attention to each pet’s normal behaviors so I can quickly notice any changes in appetite, mood, or energy. Creating a calm, familiar environment by respecting the pet’s space and allowing them to interact on their own terms is my priority, especially for more shy or anxious animals. Communication is important to me when it comes to my own animals, so I provide updates to owners so they feel confident their pet is being well cared for while they’re away.

I have experience as a manager at Petco so not only do I know how to care for dogs, I am well versed in the basic needs for most reptiles, birds, cats, and other small animals.I have no problem accepting pets that are not spayed or neutered for some reason rover won’t let me change that setting on my profile, so please disregard. About: I have training from working at best friends pet hotel! I also take care of family and friends animals whenever they need. I have 3 years of experience working there and have my own dog I take care of. Hi, I’m Morgan! A little bit about me — I’m a huge animal lover, and dogs definitely have a special place in my heart. I’ve always been the person who gets way too excited when I see a dog, wants to know their name, and will probably stop whatever I’m doing just to say hi. I love how every dog has their own personality, whether they’re completely crazy and full of energy, a giant baby who thinks they belong in your lap, or the shy one who just needs a little extra patience and love. I’ve always believed dogs are family, and I have a pretty big soft spot for them. Outside of work, I’m someone who likes staying active and keeping myself busy. I enjoy running and going to the gym, and I like having something to work toward and challenge myself with. I also love spending time with the people and animals I care about, being outside, and finding little things to do when I’m not working. I’m definitely a creative person too, which is one of the things I love most about piercing. I enjoy helping people find something that fits their personality and style and being part of the process from choosing the jewelry to seeing the finished piercing. I want people to feel comfortable around me and never feel like they have to be nervous or embarrassed to ask questions. At the end of the day, I’m just someone who puts a lot of heart into the things I care about. I love what I do, I love animals, I love staying active, and I’m always trying to learn, grow, and become better at the things that are important to me. I’m really grateful for everyone who supports me, trusts me, and follows along with what I’m doing. And if you know me, you already know there’s probably going to be a dog somewhere in the conversation. In-Client Home Pet Care: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions to the letter. This includes maintaining feeding routines, administering medications, daily walks or exercise, and offering companionship throughout the day. I also handle basic household tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, or rotating lights if needed, so the home looks lived in and secure.
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cedar Brook
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience with Sydney and couldn't be happier with the care our two dogs received! From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely love animals and take great pride in providing exceptional care. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Both dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for, and it was obvious they received plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. Managing two dogs can be a challenge, but she handled everything wonderfully and treated our pups as if they were her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs, which says it all. We highly recommend Sydney to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and trustworthy sitter. We will absolutely book with her again in the future! 🐾🐾❤️

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
