Sadly, we lost our family dog not too long ago, but we have a hairless cat who is the most patient, lover girl you’d ever meet. Drop offs and pick-ups can be anywhere between 8am to 8pm. I have two small children, and I try to keep a nighttime routine. We can always make other arrangements; I am very easy to work with. If you would like your dog to be bathed right before picking up, we can arrange that as well! Dogs *MUST* be good with children and cats. About: I have been doing pet care since I was 12 in my old neighborhood. I have taken care of all ages (cats, dogs, reptiles). About: Since sneaking an abandoned newborn kitten home at the age of 14, I’ve had the privilege of gaining a diverse range of experiences in caring for both cats and dogs. About: I am very good with dogs, because I pay attention to their body language. Dogs communicate through their eyes, body and barks. Similar to a person using sign language. Most communication is non-verbal and I definitely pay attention and make sure I treat every furry friend with respect and love. About: I have had 9 dogs over the years as pets between both of my parent’s houses. I pet sit a lot for friends, family, neighbors and from word of mouth! About: I grew up owning cats and dogs my entire life. As an adult, I’ve been a pet owner for the past 20 years. My dog that has since passed away was a Jack Russell that was in my wedding serving is the ring barer. I currently have two dogs (Rottweiler and Chihuahua) and a cat. About: Pet owner, pet lover! I have been sitting for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up around large dogs. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I look forward to meeting you both! My schedule is determined by the pets in my care and their schedules. I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. With me, your pup will have 24/7 one-on-one attention. They are allowed on the furniture and will always be supervised. I also have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained but most of the time they will play and hangout where I am. I have 2 cats that do well with dogs. The cat food is raised off the floor and litter boxes are located in the main living space and are scooped immediately.
