About: I have been a vet technician for over 10 years now and currently in school to become a registered vet technician. I’m able to monitor your pet especially if having conditions such as diabetes and/or have chronic conditions. I love the furry babies and love what I do! I own a two Boston terriers and have a family of my own that is my world! I can guarantee you that your pet will be taken care of with ER experience so I would know the signs for sure if your baby needed medical help. Since I work at an animal hospital this is a win win situation! Only that I can use my knowledge and skills to help owners feel at ease when leaving their furry babies with me. My dogs are SPOILED especially my bostons. We go on daily walks, I do not crate them but when I have pets that I do sit, I would separate them safety wise. I’m able to monitor behaviors before introducing my dogs to other clients’ pets. I’m pursuing to stay home full time and focus on school. With staying home I will have more time and flexibility on my schedule to take care of your babies. I currently live in an apartment complex but can accommodate room. With the experience I have I’m able to tell if your pet has social anxiety or anxious away from home. I also have a crate if needed.

About: I currently pet sit often for my best friend. She has a rescue dog that has special requirements and I have gained his trust and go walk him and his brother when she travels. Understanding that the dogs past experiences can influence their behaviors is very important to me. Some need more patience and understanding than others. I work from home and love spending time with my dogs during work breaks. I can love on your baby during the day as well! I have a big home where your pet is welcome to roam. If they are crated at certain times, I can accommodate that as well. I have a small and large crate in the guest room. About: Hi there! I have been a devoted dog owner and lover my entire life. I understand that dogs aren’t just pets; they are family. Since I'm home full-time, your pup will get constant supervision, endless belly rubs, and all the attention they are used to receiving at home. Your dog will be treated exactly like one of my own. I live in a quiet, non-smoking home in the Acworth area. We have a spacious front yard —perfect for fetch or lounging in the grass. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and I have plenty of cozy dog beds to go around. If they prefer their own crate, I can easily accommodate that too. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry best friend behind. I specialize in making your dog's stay feel like a fun vacation rather than a stressful kennel experience. I also provide owners with regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away with total peace of mind! For stays longer than three days I prefer to bring my cavapoo Coco as long as the dogs are compatible. She is being trained as a service animal, so unless she is off the leash and outside, she is surprisingly laid back. Because we both work at home, we are always here. Your dog is never left alone. With your approval I may take them to the dog park to let them run - as long as that is something you enjoy with them. I live on a private road with only 3 other homes. There is almost no traffic so walking is relaxing and safe. Two of my neighbors have dogs, plus there are deer, armadillos, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to entertain the sniffers and excite the barkers. My house is large and simply furnished with lots of spots for a nap and room for inside play when the weather is uninviting. I’m a Yale graduate with 30+ years working for Fortune 100 companies - I’m trustworthy and honest and you can depend on me to treat your home like mine (or better!) when I’m there.

About: was raised on a large farm with cows, pigs, horses, dogs and cats. I fed, medicated, and helped welcome new life on the farm. It was from this experience, that my love of animals exploded. I worked at vet offices as a receptionist, kennel helper and vet tech. I opened up PetLand for years taking care of a wide range of animals from cats and dogs to birds and reptiles. I have always enjoyed working with animals. As an adult, my husband and I created our own little farm. We added a horse, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, and guinea pigs. We have spayed and neutered 106 cats and counting over Bartow, Cherokee and Pickens County. I’d love the opportunity to meet your furbabies and care for them as you would. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

About: I have always loved dogs and I have decided that I want to be around dogs in my free time because it makes me happy! I am a soon to be retired school teacher and want to spend my time now with animals especially dogs! For the next 10 months I will be still working my teacher schedule and would like to get a head start on my next venture. I would be available for dog sitting on weekends and dog walks after 3pm during the work week and anytime over weekends. I have always had a dog growing up and very lovingly cared for my own dogs for the last 31 years. I enjoy being around all dogs. When I retire I would also like to volunteer somewhere for dogs.
