About: Who's a good dog? All of them. My step-dog is the love of my life, and I'm the person who talks to animals more than humans at a party. I have experience with: Dogs, cats, fish, rodents, horses, chickens, other birds, reptiles, and more. As a former field biologist, I handled a wide variety of animals and completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) training. I'm open to caring for almost any critter. During the summer months, I have the flexibility to extend our outdoor adventures and spend quality time bonding with them on the the trails or swimming. Regular grooming sessions, vet appointments, and training sessions are also scheduled into my weekly agenda to ensure their overall well-being. Essentially,d pets are an integral part of my daily and weekly rhythms. I provide pets with a quiet space, leash walks in safe areas, and separate feeding spots to ensure comfort and safety. I integrate visiting pets with my own for socialization and play. Opportunity for off-leash adventures for dogs with great recall. I have a sizable, secluded yard away from traffic.

About: I’m Cody! I grew up with 3 dogs, and I worked at a dog daycare for over a year. I’ve done on and off pet-sitting and walking through craigslist and friends over the years as well. I have 2 cats and a rabbit at home, so I’m good with all different types of animals. I can do pet sitting, check ins, and walks. I have a car with a large backseat so I could also transport your pet to a park or a preferred walking trail if you’d like. I am available weekday mornings before 8am and afternoons after 4pm. About: With 30 years of experience, previous dog training, your pup, senior, any age dog is in caring and attentive hands. I interact, play, talk and walk your pet. They have my attention 24/7 full time. I don't split my attention with work from home job so your loved one has literally 24/7 attention! Let's meet or chat and say HI ! I have a small dog of my own, a little whipper snapper Klee Kai who is a retired service dog. But he respects older dogs too. I am a good pet human to those I am caring for. Your dog has safe and spacious areas to play and there are walking/snowmobile trails very close by where I take longer walks 3-4 times a day weather permitting and depending on your dog's energy level . I have had hens, rabbits, dogs, birds, farm animals and plenty of other critters over the years so am very accustomed to caring for animals on a daily basis. I have dog training experience. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.

About: Hi all! My name is Mariah and I live Raymond. I was raised with dogs and have one of my own, an Alaskan Malamute named Cosmo! I would love to take your pet on an evening stroll (anytime between 4:30p-9p) or come by and visit to feed/play/keep them company while you're away. If you need someone for a few evenings per week for walks, someone to feed your pup while you're temporarily away, or even on a more casual basis, please contact me as I would love to meet you and your best friend! -I also have experience giving meds and syringe feeding kittens. Mariah I work my full time job Monday through Friday from 8:30-4 but I’m available anytime on weekends and I’m also available weekday evenings. Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun I’d prefer to stay in the Windham/Raymond/Casco area but Mon, Tues, Thurs I could also do Portland and Westbrook when I get out of work! If I was to come to your house I’m comfortable walking your dog in your neighborhood and I’m extra mindful of making sure your dog is safe and watched while in your yard if it’s not fenced!

About: My first Jobs as a child were farm sitting for my neighbors and working on an angora rabbit farm. I have always loved and cherished animals. Animals have been drawn to me my whole life. I developed my skills going into the veterinary field as a technician, I've worked with large animals horses , pigs, cows, llamas , alpacas , tortoise , lizards , snakes, monkeys, even helped in surgery on a lion. I have experience with medications , injections, transdermal , and oral medications . Also subcutaneous fluids . I also have experience with handicapped animals that may need bladder expressions or need potty walks in wheel chairs , experience with this is work and I also had my own wheel chair bound dog. I'm honest and would let you know if I'm not comfortable or feel qualified enough to take care of your babies I will let you know. I've been in the veterinary field over 25 years. I've worked in general practice , urgent care , and specialty /emergency . On weekends I'm available to house/pet sit pretty much anywhere within Maine and even possibly NH , of course allowing me time to get there . Try me I'm always up for a road trip extra fees may apply . Weekends for me are Friday after 6 pm through Tuesday morning when I head out to work . During my work week Tuesday morning through Friday . If you have dogs that need to be let out mid day , you need to be within a 10 minute drive from Warren ave in Portland . That way I can go let them out on my lunch break . If you have cats only or other pets that do not need midday care I can house sit /pet sit anywhere within an hour from Portland Maine . I can travel back and forth to work but be there at night and morning to take care of your pets needs . Always reach out if this doesn't make sense . Your pets care is priority and I will try to help you out but if my availability is not what is best for your friends I will be the first to let you know . I currently do not take pets into my home , just because I am not here most of the day . I will let people know if this changes

We have a very friendly 3 year old dog who is brilliant at reading another dogs play and energy levels. She is very respectful and well socialized. We have a safe neighborhood we love to take the dogs on walks around two or three times a day, or we go on a field trip to clifford park or the beaches in our area.

About: Something that sets me apart is I have experience with cats recovering from surgery and procedures as well as administering medication in a gentle positive way. I work full time but have ample time on weekends and extra time during after work hours. I can also make time in mornings during the week before work! I will not be bringing pets into my home just for the safety and respect of my own cats. But in your home I would be happy to tend to litter and any other necessities to make the cat’s environment comfortable.
