I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. About: FYI my priority is short or extended house/pet sitting - I have literally been around dogs my entire life. I've had them since the day I was born and would love to be able to take care of them while I can't own one in my current home. I also have experience working for a veterinary clinic taking care of boarded dogs; feeding, walking, bathing, and just hanging out with them! I have a small dog of my own, a little whipper snapper Klee Kai who is a retired service dog. But he respects older dogs too. I am a good pet human to those I am caring for. Your dog has safe and spacious areas to play and there are walking/snowmobile trails very close by where I take longer walks 3-4 times a day weather permitting and depending on your dog's energy level . I have had hens, rabbits, dogs, birds, farm animals and plenty of other critters over the years so am very accustomed to caring for animals on a daily basis. I have dog training experience. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, two friendly dogs, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. About: I have been taking care of dogs big and small since I was 10 years old, as well as pet fish, hamsters, guinea pigs. I’ve always offered to help family friends neighbors take care of there’s as well wether it’s walking, bringing them on rides, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love to them while there owners are gone. I’ve also worked at a couple farms before so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals and a very big heart for every single one of them. I have a big vehicle so if they are ok in the car I can bring them to the lake, for a walk on one of the local trails, or just for a ride on a nice day. I love spoiling my own pup so yours are gonna be spoiled just as much! Most dogs I’ve been around have been put in crates wether they were being trained as a puppy or can’t be left out in the house alone so I know how to handle that if needed at any time. I make sure there water bowls are ALWAYS full and when to feed them. I clean up there messes if needed and try to keep things tidy even if they just take everything out again. I give them lots of pets and attention and learn there attitudes and personality as well as I can so I know them better and they can trust me.

“Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! About: I've had dogs all my life, grew up with them and has seen all the stages. I currently have a 2 year old dog named Billy. I've experienced all types of energy and personalities. I've taken care of neighbors dogs and have frequently stopped by family and friends houses to let their dogs out, play with them, feed them, and just sit with them and rub their bellies. I currently have a full-time job but have a very flexible schedule which allows me to have Friday through Sunday off. I work the rest of the week 9am to 4pm but can go home if needed on my lunch break. I tell people to always ask regarding my week day schedule because it does change week to week depending what is going on. I don't not have a fenced in yard but I can walk your dog as needed and play with them and bring them anyway if needed to get some energy out. I have different types of mental challenging games for dogs and I have one very energetic happy puppy named Billy that gets along with all dogs and will be your dogs best friend.
