“Dmitra was wonderful with our cat, Lily! Very easy to communicate with and provided lots of cuddles while we were away. We hope to use her services on future trips.”

“Couldn’t have asked for better service. Our Ziggy isn’t the easiest pup to handle and Cori went above and beyond what we expected. And judging from all the great photos she took, Ziggy seemed to be very pleased as well. If we’re lucky, we’ll have Cori as his sitter for any future out of town trips!”

“Natalie did a great job looking after Harry on short notice! Despite booking less than a week in advance, Natalie was even able to squeeze in a meet and greet the weekend before. Thank you!”

“Amazing service and (p)updates from Ashley. She handled my two husky-mixes like a pro and made sure to make me feel comfortable about her own safety protocols and expectations if anything had gone wrong (which luckily it didn't!). She even cleaned up the one accident that occurred and let me know about it. All around 10/10 will trust my pups to her again!”

“Katie is very thorough and respectful of my home. I can tell she cares about my dog even just checking in on him while I'm at work. Very detailed notes and follows instructions giving me for me special needs pooch. Will hire again”

“Kaysie was amazing. Right from the meet and greets to the regular updates while we were away. Thank you for taking care of Pepper and the cute pictures, helped with easing our anxiety. Pepper is happy, cuddly and well taken care of. Would highly recommend Kaysie!”

“Bryanna was wonderful! She was spectacularly thoughtful and went the extra mile to take care of my critters. She stayed in good touch throughout to send photos and ask questions and give updates. Highly recommended!”

“Brynn and John took excellent care of Chloe. I most highly recommend them as dog sitters. Chloe was well taken care of, walked, and encouraged to eat. Brynn and John provided photos and notes at each visit, which I appreciated very much.”

About: I've been the go-to sitter for my family for years because they know how much I love to be around animals. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have two cats who are my whole heart, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to care for you furry family when you are away. I am a freelance artist and am usually doing various creative projects in the Pittsburgh area. Which gives me a very flexible schedule to focus on pet care. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in, or overnight care, I can usually accommodate short notice and regular routines. I'm happy to work with your pets specific schedule to keep things consistent and stress free. I provide most of my care in the client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their own environment and maintain their usual routine. Whether it’s walking, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. In my own home, I can only accommodate small dogs who are cat-friendly, since I have two cats of my own. Their well-being and yours are always my top priority.

About: I have had a variety of different pets throughout my life. Cats and dogs along with several species of frog and lizards. I have also had a snake and helped take care of a tarantula tho I’m not super comfortable with those. I work a crazy schedule but I only work every other week so I hope to enjoy some pet time on my off days or maybe some check ins or dog walks after or before I start my shifts I would come to your home. I live in a small apartment with my cat who has not had much exposure to other animals. So your home would be best.

“Kristen was amazing: she was reachable, and very easy to work with. When my dog Petey was anxious and scared, she was patient with him and very calm. She was able to contact me with photos and updates throughout her drop in visit, and was very professional. Thanks for being so understanding Kristen!”

About: I adore all types of dogs, big or small. Years of experience have taught me that the most important thing is respecting their space and boundaries while making sure they have everything they need. I also believe that it is incredibly important they have an outlet for their energy, so I am willing to play with them for as long as it takes - sometimes fetch has gone on for over an hour. Again, safety is of the utmost importance and I have experience taking care of all sorts of dogs with different temperaments, including some escape artists, who were all safe and sound when their families returned. I'm currently working part-time so I have some incredible flexibility when it comes to taking care of your pups! I'm willing and able to wake up early or stay up late as needed and I can spend plenty of time making sure your pets get all the love and affection they deserve. Your pet's safety is my top priority and while I have experience caring for a variety of animals, including some with serious medical conditions, I believe that their families have the best understanding of what they need. As such, I am happy to work with you to determine the best means of caring for your pet, whether that includes particular leash attachments, the use of indoor gates, external gates. I also have a fenced in backyard for any pets that might end up staying the night.

About: Welcome! My name is Jeni, and I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with dogs of all ages — from wiggly puppies to wise senior pups. I love every single dog I meet, and The Burgh Wag Club is my way of using that passion to help our Pittsburgh community. Every walk and check-in is done with care, attention, and patience. I provide regular updates and plenty of photos so you can feel confident your pup is happy and safe. If your dog has special needs, just let me know — I’ll make sure they get the personalized care they deserve. Because here, every dog is family. I work a half remote job, which gives me the flexibility to fit pet sitting and dog walking into my daily routine. Most days, I’m able to arrange my work hours around your pet’s needs whether that means midday walks, morning potty breaks, or evening visits. This flexibility ensures your pet gets consistent, reliable care without long waits between visits. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I believe in creating a calm, happy, and reassuring environment for every dog in my care, whether we’re walking through the neighborhood or simply hanging out together at home. I’m attentive to their body language, pace, and needs, ensuring they always feel safe and understood. You can trust that your pet will be treated with the same love and respect I give my own, with their safety and comfort at the heart of every interaction.
