14. Amanda Y.
About: I have a true love for dogs! I want to provide others with peace of mind while away. I have 4 dogs myself, large house and a privacy fenced. My children have been raised around animals and have been taught how to appropriately interact with dogs. My whole family loves to help as well. I respect individual needs of owners with their dogs . My dogs are crate trained but flexible with all others needs!! Our family will be able to ensure your dog has potty breaks, feeding schedules like they are used too.. as well as lots of cuddle and play time so you can enjoy your time away. We have dogs of our own so we are really good with making sure our schedule is able to adapt to our dogs needs and would be able to do this for your dogs as well. My older 2 children and my husband love to help me make sure that we are getting dogs breaks, exercise and plenty of love. Our younger 2 girls are supervised with even our own dogs. They love dogs and are taught to be respectful but are watched regardless to encourage positive interaction.. they both love dogs just as much as the rest of us. We have a basement that my 18 year old has with a sectional couch and her entire room in. She loves to take dogs with her for cuddles, quiet time or anything else needed. If it is raining outside we will even take younger dogs down to her open room to help let them play and run out much needed energy and play. All of which is supervised. I also will take dogs down there that may not want all the interaction to just chill out with one of us for a bit. I have a privacy fenced yard, I have crate trained my dogs so I am able to adapt when they need space from eachother and will be able to meet the needs of dogs who need individual time as well. We have a gate blocking the front door to ensure we don't have any runners out the front when anyone enters or leaves. Our fence is checked frequently as well for digging areas and so forth to ensure it stays secure.. however we do have someone out when any dogs play. And any personalities that don't always get along we just bring them to different areas of our home, give them different activities, or whatever they need to ensure everyone has their space to feel secure. I also like to have our dogs not in our regular living area (they go to one of my older kids rooms, or my home office) when we have pick up and drop offs. I like it as quiet as possible to meet the dogs and let them get the feel of their environment. My dogs like to bark at people so it makes it so much less stress on any new guys coming in to let them have it as calm as possible
15. Lora G.
“Lora has taken care of several of my dogs over the years, and I know that I can always count her to give them the individual attention they have needed, including special foods and meds and dealing with their unique quirks. I feel like she makes an extra effort to sit and snuggle with them and make them feel safe, if they are feeling scared. I would absolutely recommend Lora!!”
16. Caitlyn B.
“I know our year old boxer is a bundle of mischievous energy. He is lovable, but a true test of patience. Caitlyn’s dog had the perfect disposition of play & tolerance. I hope to use her service again.”
17. Brittany L.
“My dog, Lucy, is pretty finicky with people, and slow to trust. Brittany has the magic touch with Lucy. It took a couple meetings but Lucy fell so in love with Brittany she started to wait by the front door for her! There aren't many people I trust to be alone with my beloved baby, but Brittany is one of them. Having her help is great for my hectic schedule, and keeps Lucy healthy and active at times when I'm not able to give her as much attention as she deserves, and on top of being with a wonderful human friend, she now gets to socialize with other dog friends! Your fur baby is in wonderful hands with Brittany!”
18. Kaitlin & Kevin S.
“Kaitlin has always cared for animals of all kinds. I always felt safe leaving my pups with her for trip of any length. She is very attentive and will give them the exact schedule you prefer. Highly recommend!”
19. Cidney C.
“Firstly I would like to point out that Cidney is extremely kind, one of the kindest sitters I've ever had! She goes above and beyond for my Husky Cinnamon and he absolutely adores her. It's very hard to find a exceptional sitter on Rover and I'm truly blessed to have found such a person. Thank you!”
20. Amanda O.
“Amanda always responds quickly, is thorough with planning and always makes sure to meet the needs we ask. We have used her several times over the last 2 years and she is the only person we choose for our pet needs. She has provided multiple services for us as well.”
