“I appreciate everything Nicole!! You’ve been a huge blessing while I was on leave and I know I can count on you to helping Mela!!! I hope I’m able to book you again in the future you’re amazing!!!”

“We were so pleased to find Rover pet sitters in the small village of Clayton, NY where we spend the summer. We chose Gina because she had great reviews and many repeat customers. We heartedly agree! Not sure how many pet sitters are comfortable taking care of pets on a boat rocking in a marina, but Gina was the perfect choice. We liked her right away and were so pleased that she didn’t hesitate about coming onto our boat to look after our two cats. She did a terrific job! We appreciated the daily updates and photos that she posted. We have one very shy cat and she somehow managed to get good photos of Mollie every day which tells us, the cat was very comfortable with Gina. When we got back everything was ship-shape! We highly recommend Gina, and will definitely use her and Rover again.”

“Taylor was great with Lola and really eased the anxiety of Lola being in a new place. I will be definitely be using Taylor again. Great experience with Taylor and using Rover!”

“Keira was very punctual and thorough during her visits! She was very thoughtful by taking care of our other cats and monitoring their food /water levels. 10/10 service and will be looking forward to working with her in the future!”

About: I've owned and taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. With being done school now it has given me many new skills for animal care. I can come and care for your lovely pets at any time, we can discuss what times you would need and if I can make it work then there is no problem. If it's not a time I can then I will let you know other options . When going for walks with dogs I always bring a bowl and lots of water for them. I will follow any instructions that you leave for your pets such as feeding schedule and medication if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs as pets for about 30 years. My dog of 15 years recently passed away and I miss the companionship. I have watched and cared for dogs for family members, sometimes for an extended period of time. I am responsible with feeding and letting out and I really enjoy walking so your dog would get their exercise. I work weekdays at the moment but evenings and weekends are free. I am off in the summers (July and August) so I have more availability then. I live in a townhouse with a small front yard, not fenced, and I would be able to take the dog out for bathroom breaks. I am available to go to clients homes to let dogs out or to stay.

About: I currently walk and watch my friends dog. It is a pleasure I always look forward to and to spend time with him. I do not have a dog at the moment but I used to before he passed. Growing up we had cats in our household. I mostly enjoy taking dogs out for walks, playing with them and spending time with them. I enjoy being around animals, it makes my day that much better! I am full of energy myself so I am able to match that of your pets! Getting your dogs energy out, I can do that! I am new to this program but not new to taking care of dogs and cats. I am very enthusiastic about this program and want to help others out. Working from home I have the flexibility to fit in primarily dog walking throughout the day. That also gets me out and off the the computer for a break! I will listen to the clients needs and wants and provide the care for their pet that they want. I am here to help out.

“Tiassa was fantastic, always arrived on time and took phenomenal care of my two cats. She went above and beyond and my cats immediately felt comfortable around her. Definitely will be using her services again next time I need a pet sitter. Thank you!”

I miss seeing animals everyday I would love to spend my time caring for your fur babies! I can apply my knowledge to handling any cat or dog by understanding their behaviour, and knowing the proper handling techniques. I also feel comfortable medicating and caring for any animal regardless of their lifestage. If needed, I can assist in providing nail trims and ear cleaning if products are supplied and animal is agreeable with one person providing such care. I have some shifts set ahead for working in the hospital, but I also do have a lot of openings in my schedule. Please let me know if you think I would be a good match to care for your pet! I am currently working casually at the hospital as I have taken some more classes that begin in the fall. I would love to fill the gaps in my schedule with caring for animals. Knowing these risks, I am hyper alert in caring for any animal safely.

About: Certainly! Here’s an extended version with a few more lines to make your answer more detailed and impressive: --- I have over 8 years of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet sitter, and I also care for two pets of my own — a playful dog and a senior cat — so I understand the daily needs, personalities, and quirks that make each pet unique. What sets me apart from other sitters is not just my experience, but my genuine love for animals and my ability to connect with them on a deeper level. I have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — from energetic puppies needing consistency and training, to older pets who require medication, mobility assistance, and extra TLC. I’m skilled in basic puppy training, crate training, leash manners, and socialization. I also have experience dealing with rescue animals and those with anxiety or behavioral issues, always using a gentle and reassuring approach. Pet safety is my top priority. I stay alert, follow detailed care instructions, and maintain regular communication with pet parents through updates and photos. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with love, patience, and respect. I work from Monday to Friday from 9 to 5.After that and before that I am available and I can sit with your pet at night Here’s a well-rounded answer to the **“Safety, trust & environment”** question, written from your perspective as an experienced cat sitter and pet sitter who may care for pets either in your own home or the client’s home: --- Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or my client’s, safety and trust are always my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions precisely — including feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, and any household rules their pet is used to. I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences and behaviors so I can provide a familiar, low-stress environment while their family is away. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space that is free from hazards. I ensure secure windows and doors, use pet-safe cleaning products, and have separate, quiet areas available if a pet needs space or time to adjust. My own pets are well-socialized, and I carefully supervise all interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos to build trust with pet parents, showing them that their pet is in good hands. Whether in my home or theirs, I aim to create a calm, caring, and secure environment where pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free.

About: I lived on a farm growing up, we had dogs my whole life. As I got older my dad who was in the military and worked with dogs slowly taught me how to train our dogs at home. Now that I am older I have a passion for animals and would like to start professionally training service animals and working with pets in my everyday life. I’m currently working part-time so I have lots of time to take your furry friend on walks, play dates and sleepovers! My schedule differs so text me and we can schedule! I live right near a huge field, perfect for running and playing! I also have a small fenced backyard for something quick, easy and safe!

“I highly recommend Tristam as an exceptional dog sitter. He has cared for our two border collies, Scout and Diamond, on several occasions, and we have been consistently impressed with his dedication and attentive care. Tristam has a natural affinity for animals, and our dogs immediately loved him. He is not only responsible and reliable, but also incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and care. Each time he has watched our dogs, he has gone above and beyond to ensure their well-being, providing them with plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Moreover, Tristam communicates effectively with us, providing updates and sharing how our dogs are doing, which gives us peace of mind while we are away. We feel fortunate to have found such a trustworthy and caring sitter. I wholeheartedly recommend Tristam to anyone in need of a dog sitter. He will undoubtedly provide the same level of excellent care for your pets as he has for ours.”

Kristina M.
“Before Rover existed, Kristina cared for my Rottweiler while I was away in the US for 4 months. It was extremely difficult to leave my girl, but I knew she would be well cared for, and she was. I can’t recommend Kristina enough for any and all pet needs.”

“Leah is incredible! We have a VERY hyper husky who can be hard to handle but Leah always manages to bring out the calm side of Boris. He is a very needy boy but she is always more than happy to give him all the attention he so desperately craves. When it comes to walking Boris, he pulls as huskies do but Leah handles this like a champ! When it comes to needing someone you can trust and depend on to care for your pups the same way you would, Leah is your girl!”
