She is warm and understanding of our pet’s needs and I cannot say enough about the quality of care that our Willow received from Heather while we were away at a wedding. We will definitely be leaving Korra with him again, and we wholeheartedly recommend Walelign to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Michaela! Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. From dogs and cats to horses, goats, and other livestock, I’ve spent my whole life learning how to handle animals of all sizes with confidence and care. Professionally, I’ve built my career around animal care: • I currently work as a Client Care Specialist at Countryside Veterinary Clinic, where I interact daily with pets and their families, gaining valuable insight into health, behavior, and comfort needs. • I previously worked at the Lewis County Humane Society, where I cared for shelter animals, helped match pets with families, and supported the team with everything from feeding and cleaning to hands-on enrichment and socialization. • I also run my own small business, Kales Kritters, offering grooming, boarding, and in-home care for dogs and cats of all temperaments and needs. • Additionally, I founded A New Leash on Life, a local nonprofit that provides pet supplies, food, and resources to families in need. Between my farm upbringing, shelter work, and veterinary clinic role, I’ve had the privilege of caring for animals in every stage of life — from bottle babies to seniors — and I’m comfortable with special needs, medications, and unique temperaments. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnights, or just giving your pet a little extra love while you’re away, I treat every animal like they’re my own.

About: “As a lifelong animal lover with a special soft spot for cats, I know how important it is to give them the care, attention, and patience they deserve. Whether your kitty is a playful explorer, a shy cuddle bug, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. From keeping up with feeding schedules to playtime, brushing, and plenty of snuggles, I treat every cat as if they were my own. You can relax knowing your feline friend is in reliable, caring hands

“Auggie is always super excited to stay with Anna and Aleksei! He comes home extremely happy and pooped from his visits! They take him on long walks and give him lots of treats and care!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Walelign. Mimi was very well cared for, and we truly appreciated the constant communication, we always received quick and thoughtful updates whenever we reached out. Mimi came back calm and happy, which means a lot to us. She is usually quite anxious around new people, but she didn’t show any signs of stress this time and didn’t cry at all. It was clear she felt safe and comfortable. Walelign truly went above and beyond, and we are very grateful. We would absolutely trust him again and feel confident leaving Mimi in his care. Thank you so much!”

“I booked Rose for my dog Luna and the experience overall was smooth and easy. Communication was friendly, scheduling was simple, and I appreciated the updates during the day. Luna came home happy and tired, which is always a good sign! Thank you for taking good care of her.”

“Daniel was so great watching my little guy Harvey! He really took the time to learn about Harvey’s walk schedule, what some of his favourite games are and you could tell he just really loves dogs!”

About: Hello! I've had a dog since the age of nine. I currently have a very active Australian Shepherd. She is prone to anxiety so I have to tend to her needs very attentively. She thrives on structure and routine. I will similarly be very attentive to your dog's specific needs in order to see them thrive! I've cared for all sorts of dogs over the years and I look forward to getting to know yours. I run a small photography page called Dogs of Kingston on Facebook that I hope to contribute more to in the new year. Through that experience I've met a wide variety of lovely pups around town. I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. I'm currently self-employed so I have very open availability. Looking forward to hearing from you.
About: I would love to take care of your pets, I’m responsible and I’m obsessed with taking care of them, so they are in good hands. Im available full time since I quit my job 3 months ago and I would like to do this as a full time job. The best job! The pets would be inside unless they have to pee or poo (for dogs haha) for cats I clean the litter of my cats daily and I’m very careful with what they eat or if they need something.
About: My partner and I have had lots of past experience with taking care of dogs! We have both had labrador retrievers, shepherds, Alaskan Malamute, border collies etc. We currently have a seven month old labrador/husky that we rescued when she was 9 weeks old. She is currently training to be a service dog but still has some puppy brain and enjoys playing with other dogs!! We have trained her in many domains and she currently knows: sit, stay, down, back up, waiting at doors, paw, high five, spin, around, crate, support, hug, off, leave it, and are working on much more. We would be happy to help train your puppy/dog if you are currently working on anything! I am currently in school so I am available to watch your dogs during the weekday and most weekends. Our schedule during the week and weekends would be potty breaks every 0-2 hours. During the work week we are happy to walk your dogs anytime during the day :) We have a partially fenced yard and our dog goes on a long tie to ensure she stays safe! She is crate and house trained and usually stays in her crate throughout our work days to ensure she is safe as she still likes to chew on wires! Our puppy and your dogs safety is our number 1 priority :)
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, from puppies to seniors, I love working with all dogs!! I've trained puppies and have experience giving dogs medications, walks, etc. :) I work from home full-time so I am able to give your dog a supervised, comfortable, and fun and environment to spend time in while you are out & about living life! I have a fenced in backyard as well as two friendly dogs of my own, which can keep your furry friend company throughout the day. I am available anytime of day and would be so honoured to take care of your loved ones.
“Ricci has been great with Tony. She's taken care of him a few times now, and he comes back nice and pooped – the sign of a good stay! She has been sensitive to Tony's needs and my training methods, and he's been happy to go back each time.”

“We had a great experience and Tyrion had a fantastic day. He was tuckered out and happy when we picked him up. We really appreciated the updates and photos during the day and Tyrion seemed to really enjoy playing with the golden retrievers. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a dog-sitter. We will definitely rebook in the future.”

About: I love cuddles and spending time with the dogs in my company. When looking after friend's dogs, I have helped with training good behaviour on walks, and I'm happy to enforce the norms and rules your dog is used to. I have the benefit of having a flexible day so I can pay attention to your pet when they need it. My home is fairly low energy and I hope to provide a calm and loving refuge for your pet while you are away. Unfortunately I do not board cats to keep my home allergy friendly, but I will happily take care of and give love and affection to cats on drop in visits. :) I owned a free roam rabbit for 3 years, and I have a thorough understanding of their unique needs and body language. I also love taking videos to send along for your reassurance. Let's have a conversation so I can be the best sitter for your needs! I'm a freelance artist who is currently home the majority of the time! I can happily plan my days around your pet's schedule and needs, and I love the ability to fit more walks in my day and get outside. Boarding: I do not own any other pets, and I do not currently allow sitting pets from multiple homes at once. For boarding - your dog will for the most part have free roam of my apartment, and good potty training is expected. I would not recommend very plant-curious dogs to board at my home. Coming to your home: I always maintain a base line of respect and privacy when coming to your home. My focus is your pet and their well-being and nothing else. I ensure to abide by your norms such as removing shoes, and keeping away from private areas of your home unless required. I can check on other things in your home to ensure there's no upturned trash, water leaks, or other issues while you're away. If there are any messes in your home, I am more than happy to take care of them with your direction and using your cleaning products.

About: Hi, nice to meet you! Please call me Eliza. Firstly, thank you for considering me to take care of your fur-babies while you're away. Here's a little bit about me and my history with pet care. When I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. My journey with pet care began when I was 12 years old. One of my neighbors had a black lab puppy that they never let inside & never had company. One day, I walked up to their door, knocked & asked them to hire me to walk their dog everyday. I never looked back. Since then, friends, family, neighbors & strangers alike have entrusted me with all of their pet's needs. When considering booking with me, please keep in mind that I also work 35 hours a week, giving me plenty of time to pay attention to your pets. I do not have breed restrictions & am happy to work with any special needs or requirements your pet may have. FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS, I do require a meet & greet before booking to ensure that everyone (including your pet) is comfortable and to be able to ask/answer any questions we may have for each other. I've found this helps to ensure trust between all of us. Please be upfront with any triggers or quirks so I know exactly how to take care of your pet. *The meet & greet is a FREE service to ensure we're all a good fit for each other before the stay. For the time being, I do not offer boarding in my home. During my stay with your pets, I provide the utmost care & attention to your pet & their needs. My main priorities are making sure your pet is as safe & as comfortable as possible in an already anxious situation with their parents being away. Thank you so much for considering me to take care of your fur-babies while you're away.

About: I have experience with dogs my entire life from daily care routine to caring for senior dogs. Your member of the family would be treated very well and we are able to care for dogs that require special attention. Your dog would not go more than 2-4 hours without someone supervising them. I would make sure your animal is safe. The world class care your fur baby would get would be unmatched. My doggies are literally spoiled but well behaved. They are sweet so there will be plenty of attention and exercise for your loved one. ❤️❤️❤️

About: I have worked in the animal care industry since I was 14 years old. I grew up with my mother whom bred and showed various different breeds of dogs as well as we kept a small mixed livestock farm. I have worked as an equine manager, I have worked at TSC, and currently am employed at a veterinary clinic where I was originally working with boarders. My skills include basic training, basic grooming, administering preventatives and medication (including insulin), providing effective and safe restraint, and I have taken multiple educational courses on animal welfare, behavior, and stress-free approach to handling. I work full time, but only mid day so I am more than capable of doing morning and afternoon visits as well as mid day on the weekends. I take care of animals the same way I would want to be cared for: with patience, kindness and love but above all safely. Working at a veterinary clinic I have learned a great amount about safe animal care (including with reactive animals).
About: Hello! Animals have been my passion since I was a little girl. I have worked at a dog daycare for 3 years and now am currently working as a Tech at a Veterinary Clinic now going on for 5 years! I would love to pet sit your furry friend and hopefully become a new best friend for them too! If you are military, I have base access as well! I am available weekdays and weekends.I would also be available to watch your pet at your home if needed ! I would love to chat about any days you may need and we can work out something :) I am available to help out with feeding, walking, giving medications and or just hanging out with your fur baby. About: I grew up with a small family dog as a young child in our family home, and took the leap into adulthood and dog ownership on my own! Porter is a 5.5 year old male neutered bernedoodle. He's super spoiled and rules the house :-) He loves having a playmate around so we thought we'd check out the Rover scene! We have experience looking after our neighbours dogs (Golden retrievers and a yellow lab). I have used Rover as a pet parent for help during vacations, etc. I know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy that will follow instructions. We go on 4 walks a day - sometimes more with yard play thrown in. I work from home and have a flexible schedule to allow all the dog care! I'm familiar with medicating dogs, including allergy injections so I can assist with care like that if required. I'm guilty of taking so many pictures of my dog, especially when he has friends visit so please be comforted knowing you will get lots of updates! We live on a lake so if your dog loves to swim and loves pontoon boat rides, they will have one heck of a vacation :-) If you have multi dog family - I'm happy to host them all! Please - no cats. I currently work from home and have lots of time with my flexible schedule to accommodate walks, playtime, enrichment, etc. Porter can adjust to anyone else's schedule to make it easier, or we can do solo walks if that would be your preference. I do not have a fenced yard, but we go on leashed walked at least 4x a day - plus more playtime. Porter is allowed on furniture, so your dog is as well! There are no separate rooms for dogs in my house. He used to be crate trained and so i am familiar with it and can crate your dog if you require it.
“Deanna & Scott did a great job caring for my dog while I was away for 10 days. They sent me lots of pictures and were always easy to talk to. I had no worries while I was away which made my trip much more enjoyable.”
