About: I currently walk and watch my friends dog. It is a pleasure I always look forward to and to spend time with him. I do not have a dog at the moment but I used to before he passed. Growing up we had cats in our household. I mostly enjoy taking dogs out for walks, playing with them and spending time with them. I enjoy being around animals, it makes my day that much better! I am full of energy myself so I am able to match that of your pets! Getting your dogs energy out, I can do that! I am new to this program but not new to taking care of dogs and cats. I am very enthusiastic about this program and want to help others out. Working from home I have the flexibility to fit in primarily dog walking throughout the day. That also gets me out and off the the computer for a break! I will listen to the clients needs and wants and provide the care for their pet that they want. I am here to help out.

About: I have experience with dogs my entire life from daily care routine to caring for senior dogs. Your member of the family would be treated very well and we are able to care for dogs that require special attention. Your dog would not go more than 2-4 hours without someone supervising them. I would make sure your animal is safe. The world class care your fur baby would get would be unmatched. My doggies are literally spoiled but well behaved. They are sweet so there will be plenty of attention and exercise for your loved one. ❤️❤️❤️

About: I’ve had all kinds of animals my whole life. I am currently a vet tech major! I love animals and am very engaged with them! I currently have two labs- a chocolate and a black but I know other breeds besides labradors. I’m very comfortable with any size dog. Any kind of service needed I can provide. I can provide baths, walks, playtime, giving medication and feedings.I can also text you updates if you’d like. If you have any other animals besides dogs I am comfortable around them as well! If you have any questions just ask! I currently will be doing this full time! I take care of my own animals needs everyday so it won’t be any change for me to help with yours! My overnight stays consist of roughly 12 hours at night! I can also do drop in visits throughout the day. I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible! I like to do a meet and greet first so we can go over everything!

About: Hi, nice to meet you! Please call me Eliza. Firstly, thank you for considering me to take care of your fur-babies while you're away. Here's a little bit about me and my history with pet care. When I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. My journey with pet care began when I was 12 years old. One of my neighbors had a black lab puppy that they never let inside & never had company. One day, I walked up to their door, knocked & asked them to hire me to walk their dog everyday. I never looked back. Since then, friends, family, neighbors & strangers alike have entrusted me with all of their pet's needs. When considering booking with me, please keep in mind that I also work 35 hours a week, giving me plenty of time to pay attention to your pets. I do not have breed restrictions & am happy to work with any special needs or requirements your pet may have. FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS, I do require a meet & greet before booking to ensure that everyone (including your pet) is comfortable and to be able to ask/answer any questions we may have for each other. I've found this helps to ensure trust between all of us. Please be upfront with any triggers or quirks so I know exactly how to take care of your pet. *The meet & greet is a FREE service to ensure we're all a good fit for each other before the stay. For the time being, I do not offer boarding in my home. During my stay with your pets, I provide the utmost care & attention to your pet & their needs. My main priorities are making sure your pet is as safe & as comfortable as possible in an already anxious situation with their parents being away. Thank you so much for considering me to take care of your fur-babies while you're away.

“Sarah was great with Bentley. Thanks!”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life, caring for both large and small breeds. I also have hands-on experience working with trained service dogs and have proudly contributed to organizations focused on finding foster dogs loving homes and securing funding for service animals. I'm very active and enjoy going on multiple walks each day—perfect for energetic pups! Since I spend a lot of time at home, your dog will have plenty of companionship, attention, and affection throughout the day. Currently, I’m just enjoying my time off school. I am located in King City but also stay in Toronto. Your pet will always be incorporated into my daily schedule such as it’s taking him/her out to coffee with me or to the field to run around. Your pet will always be well taken care of. I have a dog park nearby if you’re comfortable. I have lots of grass spaces and lots of parks and areas nearby. I live in a very open concept home so lots of space to run around.

About: As stated above, I am a Veterinary Technician that has dedicated my career and education to animals. I have made the switch to becoming a human nurse-which I work casual at the hospital. I miss seeing animals everyday I would love to spend my time caring for your fur babies! I can apply my knowledge to handling any cat or dog by understanding their behaviour, and knowing the proper handling techniques. I also feel comfortable medicating and caring for any animal regardless of their lifestage. If needed, I can assist in providing nail trims and ear cleaning if products are supplied and animal is agreeable with one person providing such care. I have some shifts set ahead for working in the hospital, but I also do have a lot of openings in my schedule. Please let me know if you think I would be a good match to care for your pet! I am currently working casually at the hospital as I have taken some more classes that begin in the fall. I would love to fill the gaps in my schedule with caring for animals. As I have worked in both general animal clinics and emergency animal clinics, I am very aware of any risks that could present themselves while caring for animals. Knowing these risks, I am hyper alert in caring for any animal safely.

“Ava was great with Lizzie! Kept me updated with photos and details of the walks.”

About: I am a veterinary technologist who has always loved taking care of animals. I have years of experience sitting for friends and family and 3 years of school with experience on the medical side of things. I have been working in clinic since April of 2024! I work with animals all day everyday! It has always been my passion, if you have a pet that requires medications, special diets, or training, I am up to the task! I have lots of experience with medication administration in all forms (oral, injections, etc.) Since I work full time, I am available early mornings and in the evenings Monday to Thursday as I work 10 hour shifts. I am off most Fridays and am available all hours of the weekend. While caring for your pet I promise to be available to you at all times through phone. I also promise to keep all information confidential (address, yours and your pets name, etc). I will ensure they are happy and safe while you are away!

About: Hi my name is Sherrie and I’m a late 30 something year old and I grew up with pets of all kinds, dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs and even a few fish over the years. I have a 10 year old golden lab retriever and a 7 year old black lab, that are the highlights and loves of my life, but I have lots of time and love to go around for your critters too. On the rare occasion that I have to leave my girls, no matter how long/short, I am very selective on who I ask to do so and I expect no different for anyone else and therefore I am open to lots of questions and having a meet and greet prior to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone. When I was working shift work I had a great set up for my girls to get out and zoom while I was home getting my pre-shift Zzz’s in during the day. I am totally willing to do the same for you, on a recurring basis if you are a shift worker. I have lots of experience being around and caring for dogs and cats, however I also have farmhand experience as well, mainly with horses and cows, having worked on a dairy farm and hobby farm within the Kingston area. I’m mainly offering to bring animals in and out of pastures/stalls, stall cleaning, feeding and watering. I do not have any specific training when it comes to animal care, but my experiences have taught me that animals just want to be loved and cared for like us but also need to be supervised. Marlow, my 7 year old black lab has presented me with opportunities to learn about wound care after a stick impale injury at a young age, as well as the jumping out of a moving vehicle scene. But now it’s just generally silliness, like getting too excited about ball fetching or with Macey licking at hot spot so deterring that and keeping spots clean I also have had the unfortunate experience in having to take one of the farm dogs to the vet because he tried to eat a porcupine. To avoid situations like this or skunking, in the future I will be sure that your dog is walked on a leash and not an over long one. I am currently in a position where I can pretty well make my own schedule and am willing to work with you and your pets needs. At this time I am unable to offer care in my home due to having my own dogs and limited indoor/outdoor space. However - upon coming to your home, I am more than happy to come to do doggy walks around your neighbourhood and or for drop ins/playtime in your house/yard depending on your request and yard situation. I am open to the possibility to take your pup in my vehicle to go for more of an adventure/destination walk but this would have to be discussed in length prior and depend on different factors such as the distance to location, the weather etc.

About: When I was 14 I decided to intern at the SPCA and my love for the job has grown. Over the years I have worked with Veterinarians to dog trainers, have worked under a pet groomer, and have had friends and family ask me to watch and take care of their family members. Currently, I am in school for the Zoo Technology program. I have busy mornings and a long Tuesday but am available for afternoons and nights. I have two of my own cats and they are my best accomplishments. I know from experience that trusting someone to care for your pets can be extremely hard. I have no issues picking up after a puppy/kitten or an older animal and I’m good at keeping on a schedule for feeding or medication times.

Sherrie E.
“We have a large, sucky, anxious dog who suffers from stress induced colitis when we leave him with strangers. 💩 Luckily he knows Sherrie well enough that he has no problems when she’s taking care of him. Due to his size he can be a handful when he sees other dogs (he just wants to play, but they never do) and she handles his antics like a champ. Sherrie is the ultimate dog lover, and goes above and beyond when taking care of our fella. We ❤️ her.”

Leah E.
“I would trust Leah with my fur babies 1000%. My dog is a rescue and is particular about her humans and she just adores Leah. Leah is a gentle soul and has a way with animals. Would recommend!”

Kate W.
“I have known Kate for over 3 years and during this time have seen her in a wide range of situations and one thing is for certain is that she is happiest when interacting with animals (especially corgis!). I can confidently attest to her exceptional character, reliability, and genuine love for animals. Kate is kind, responsible, and remarkably capable of handling stressful situations with grace. Her experience as an educational assistant working with a child with special needs has honed her skills in attentiveness and patience, qualities that translate beautifully to animal care. I have personally witnessed Kate’s interactions with my three dogs, including one who is elderly and frail. She treats them with the same love and care she would show her own pets, and they adore her in return. Her approach to animals is respectful of both the owner and animal. I have always felt comfortable having Kate around my dogs. Furthermore, she always seeks permission before petting a dog, listens to owners requests and communicates with them effectively and is also attuned to the animal's comfort level and needs. An example to highlight Kate’s compassion, is that as a high school senior, she took on the responsibility of caring for her family's terminally ill dog while they were away in Europe, demonstrating maturity and empathy beyond her years. In summary, Kate is professional, dependable, and possesses a genuine passion for animal care. Her combination of personal qualities and practical experience makes me confident that you and your pet will love her!”

“Laury has been with Pet since she was a baby because the family raises them. Laury became close to these since then and learned to take care of them, from their food to their medication. She reads a lot about them and discussed with many Veterinary doctors. Currently she has 2 in her home country and always calls to get news and most of the time she does video call to see them and talk to them. This is really what she is, responsible, loving and caregiver when it comes to pet. She will be very grateful if she is giving a chance.”
